This motel is a little bit out of the way , perched on top of a hill, its a good set up and looks well maintained , its driving distances to some restaurants, manager is very good, rooms are okay , its a bit pricey considering you sleep in a king single bed ?,

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are nicely tucked off the main road which allows our guests privacy from traffic and street noise. Depending on where you are visiting we are a 10 minute walk to Morpeth where there is a great choice for dining options from breakfast, lunch or dinner (Courtesy buses also available on Friday - Sunday nights), we are also a short 25 minute drive to Newcastle city and beaches as well as Hunter Valley wineries. When choosing accommodation please note we have a varied accommodation types from motel, villas and guesthouse options. These have different bedding types as well from king single, double, queen and king beds. The price includes all the amenities within the 4 acres property from free WiFi, guest laundry, tennis, fitness area, pool, games room and BBQ facilities. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Booked this online quickly as needed an overnight stay and got gold! A beautiful place on acreage due to being a Tennis Centre., Grounds were beautiful & our very comfortable motel room looked over them. Staff were outstanding starting with Peter who checked us in to the cleaning ladies we met next morning-very pleasant & helpful all of them with local information. We checked in around 5pm-I was travelling with my 9 year old grandson & Peter went out of his way to open up the game’s room for him & direct us to Morpeth to get some dinner which we prepared in the well equipped communal kitchen. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will be my place to stay on future trips coming up. Thank u for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for a night to break up a trip up the coast and was a last minute booking. The motel exceeded our expectations. We comfortably fit our family in the room and the games room was very well equipped. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked inviting.

We stayed one night. The room was very comfortable and clean. The grounds outside of the room were spacious with well-maintained gardens. The motel was about a 15-minute walk to the Morpeth cafes and restaurants.

Nice place to stay with family members, including my aged, frail disabled mother. The room was open plan. Nice and quiet location with the swimming pool right at our door. Maybe put some handrails on the pool to allow easier access going in and our.

We were 2 families who travelled to the hunter region to see the Christmas light at hunter valley gardens. We had 2 cabins. I wasn’t sure about what we would find and have to say it well exceeded our expectations. The cabins are almost brand new and were very comfortable for our families. The pool was a very welcome addition for the hot day. Staff are amazingly friendly. The only issue was it was about 35 minutes from hunter valley gardens. But I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Morpeth lodge motel and found it ok but expensive for what you get. Hard to find as it is actually sign posted as a tennis club, other guests said the same thing. A fair way from Morpeth though, not walking distance. Small rooms and one of the smallest double beds ever. Nice and clean. The new villas are great but the hotel rooms need renovation and are to $$$$ for the standard you receive. Ok motel, great if you like tennis, but better in the area

Thank you for your review, we always appreciate feedback. The signs are both listed for the tennis club and the motel - however we are in the process of changing the signage so hopefully it will make it clearer for guests, so we appreciate your feedback. Morpeth (Swan Street) is less than a 1km walk or 10\15 min walk depending on your pace - depends what you consider a fair way I guess. Great news now that the clubhouse (5 bedroom house) has near completion the motel rooms will be getting some renovations including queen and single beds in the rooms, renovated bathroom and heating cooling. We hope you will come back and see the new look of the property.

Fabulous place with friendly helpful staff, we had a 2br unit it had a spacious kitchenette/sitting room, private courtyard, huge bathroom perfect for my elderly mother to manage, the setting was great with tennis courts and an exercise area and a pool I tactfully ignored all (ours was not a health trip), the street we needed to turn into to get to the motel was well signposted otherwise we never would have known it was there, the village of Morpeth was a tourist trap but only open Thursday to Sunday the town comes to life the pubs are lively and food great.

This place is a tennis centre but part of it is a modern, comfortable, very good value motel, facing away from any tennis action. Parking is immediately opposite the room. The location is as quiet as possible, well away from main roads. For anyone needing to do business in Maitland, this would be an ideal place to stay - that big town is less than 10 km away.

A comfortable clean room, helpful check in staff. It is in a quiet spot but close to main street of town. It was obvious that there is care put into the place and that it is well managed. It was good value for money too.
