We had a fantastic stay at Blaen Cedi Farm despite the weather for most of the week we were there. When the sun shone we managed to enjoy BBQs on the deck, the kids love the hot tub and even the slippery water slide! We stayed in The Gallery which we loved. The mezzanine floor for the bedroom gave it lovely character. The farm is in a great location which is easily accessible to The Gower. Only a short car journey away to beautiful beaches. Our hosts Adam and Lynsey were extremely welcoming and good fun. Even the resident chickens were kind to us....thank you for the eggs! We would definitely recommend the farm for a short break in the country!
We stayed in the Cabin which was quiet, private and cosy and had everything we needed. We especially loved the sun streaming into the bedroom most mornings through the big patio doors, and also made good use of the hot tub. Really good place from which to get to all the delights of the Gower Peninsula, and a warm and friendly welcome from Lynsey and Adam.
Excellent base for coastal walks and beach-combing. Secluded and tranquil location, close to shops and amenities including excellent fish and chips. Adam and Lindsey were excellent and friendly hosts making us feel very welcome. The welcome pack was very informative and well put together. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay and would definitely return.
We travelled to Blaen Cedi a couple of weeks ago, with our 2 dogs. We stayed in the Cottage and it is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The walk in shower was perfect for me as I currently have mobility issues. Comfortable bed and the kitchen has lots of little things you wouldn't necessarily expect in a holiday cottage (e.g. weighing scales, measuring jug, plenty of saucepans). Adam and Lynsey are great hosts. Available if you need them and happy to provide all the information you could possibly need. The farm is very close to Penclawdd, where there is a decent sized supermarket and a couple of good butchers. There is also a really good farm shop a couple of miles away, and we bought everything we needed from there. (Dunvant Farm Shop, which also has a dog friendly cafe). We enjoyed our trip very much spending our days driving to Oxwich Bay and walking along the fabulous beach. Dog walkers paradise. Looking forward to our next trip, hopefully early next year.…
Blaen Cedi is a must if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil break but not too far from amazing beaches, walks and seaside towns. We stayed in the 'Cabin' and it was beautiful with a very well equipped kitchen and set slightly away from the main house and other cottages making it feel very private and secluded. There is lots of garden space that our dog loved to roam around in and everything else you could require for a stay including washing and drying facilities (and amazing hot tub). The local area is great and includes a park for children, fish and chips, a big ice cream parlour and an Indian takeaway. Adam and Lynsey are amazing hosts, very helpful and always on hand to give recommendations and advice. We will definitely be returning!
