This used to be the Restful Inn, but now it's a Travel Lodge. They changed so that they can be part of the hotel app. We stayed here for a week for work and I booked a king supreme room. The rooms appear to be recently updated..... not remodeled, but they still have some of the original trim and details with some new updates. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. This hotel has a contract with the railroad, for employees who aren't allowed to work over 8 or 10 hours. Due to this, there is always multiple employees on staff and they also have a restaurant that serves food 24-7. The food is cheap and good and you can get it to go back to your room. We used the pool, hot tub and ate meals from the restaurant and all were very good. A bit dated, but well cared for.... made for a comfortable stay. I'd stay here again.

Absolutely great repeat stay! Room was clean and ready upon check-in. I love when we repeat stay at a hotel a year later and their service is consistent and a number of the employees are still there. This time we ate at their restaurant and my husband and I are so glad that we did! Johnny made our dinner which was a really good pizza! Homemade crust and cooked perfectly. Johnny was a delight and we really enjoyed him and his excellent personality and service. The next day before driving out of town we went back and ordered lunch to go from a very nice lady (I failed to get her name)! Once again, our BIG burger and fries were cooked perfectly! Next time I will order additional fries because they were so yummy! From the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant ~ the consistency is on point! We look forward to staying at our HIDDEN GEM again this year!

The staff was very nice upon arrival and every moment after. The room was very clean, and the pool and hot tub area is very nice! Staff were cleaning rooms constantly. I never tried the food at their restaurant.

Very happy with our one night stay! Staff "Bri" was who I spoke with to make the reservation a few days prior to our stay. She was helpful and cheerful and just a pleasure to talk with. "Ethan" was the clerk manning the desk at check-in. He was pleasant and quick to assist with dinner ideas and directions to the restaurant locations. Once again he was definitely an asset to this hotel property! Upon check out I met "Kim" the hotel owner. It was so nice to see a hands-on hotelier! She was stocking her hotel snack location and greeted me the moment I walked into the lobby. Nothing like a great smile and cheerful attitude to start your day! We talked for a bit and I told her how happy my husband and I were with her location and the employees we had dealt with. She thanked me and told me she looked forward to our next stay. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We both loved the "rain shower head". We will definitely be staying again!

An older motel that's been spiffed up a bit. It was clean, but hardly quiet. People were wandering the hallways until at least 1am and no one really seemed to care. The listing led me to believe there was a restaurant on-site, but there wasn't...unless you count the run-down old drive-in next door. I paid $75 for a room which was maybe worth $60...maybe not even that since I had to buy my own Breakfast.

This is a weird place. Front desk girl (who was very, very nice and helpful) explained the place is older but has only recently been opened to the public. For years, it was a "railroad workers only" place, a "company motel" - but now it is used by the railroad and the public too. And with that knowledge I began to observe the other customers, who were everywhere, in and out constantly. Cross-country train dudes are coming in, signing the logs in the lobby, hanging out in the lobby, and crashing in a room for a few hours of rest before catching the next 6am or midnight train out of town. Housekeeping is working constantly - maybe 24 hours- because the rail men only stay like 8 or 10 hours, then the room is cleaned and rented again, and again. Do you want to stay in a bed that has 14 to 21 different full-time traveling men per week using it? I don't! And shouldn't have! Front desk warned us not to park out back, directing us to the 1 or 2 spots "right in front of the door, where you'll be safe." Had to move rooms because the first smelled of cigarettes. Second one only smelled strange. The pool has random sharp edges, ouch! Minor cuts from jagged pool floor. Pool room has slick tiles- one of the kids slipped on it and fell pretty hard. Waterfall feature was pretty but runs on a cycle of "almost always off." I think that whole pool area was designed by an inexperienced DIY'er. Never seen or heard of a pool with sharp, pointy floors. Now, the real problem: a short time after our stay, during which we used the pool and the hot tub for 2 hours, we developed "hot tub folliculitis" - these are numerous, disturbing red bumps which appear to be bites but instead are infected skin pores, specifically caused by unsanitary hot tubs, requiring antibiotics to cure. GROSS. Look, just pay an extra $20 and stay at a regular hotel. Or drive away from this Railway Town altogether!

The room was clean -- the rest room when you turn the fan on dust flew out. The beds were HARD. It said it had a coffee bar and restaurant but it is not "on site' no morning breakfast The coffee bar was two thermos's of coffee. It was ok but I would choose another hotel next time.
