It was a good choice to have getaway from the city of Cebu and experience some nature in Balamban.
The tents are very affordable if you are going as a group. There is an option for aircon glamping tents but its pricier. Good thing even with just an electric fan, the heat inside the tent is bearable.
The breakfast choice is limited and to be honest a bit disappointing. Our lunch though was great. Try their pochero. The dinner was a miss as well.

I go for hotel staycations and city tours in comfort & style than camping. The word 'camping' never occurred to my mind especially the discomfort of it on a mountain without a place to stay and a bed to sleep on. The hassle of putting up a tent that I never have the patience to assemble is one big factor that I have to consider. I can't imagine lying on the ground plus the expensive equipment that you have to bring with a heavy load on the back is something unthinkable. The walking and the trekking along the dangerous trails is a big no-no for me.
I want to stay in a tent with hotel-like amenities and comfort complete with a portable air conditioner, electric fan, a king size bed with mattress, bedding sets, bed sheets, pillows, toiletries, slippers, tables, and chairs, full body mirror, lampshades, terrace overlooking the skyline and the most important, it has a bathroom and a toilet room. My wish was granted and never expect that I can find a campground offering everything I desire located in Barangay Gaas in Balamban and it's called EVO Nature Camp.
It's the answer to my long-time wish to have glamorous and luxurious camping with resort-type services. Has available food and drinks at the Araucaria Bistro & Cafe on the mountainside filled with different types of plants and colorful flowers in a big garden. It's my first time knowing that it's called 'glamping'. From now on, I SUPER LOVE GLAMPING (not camping). I can stay there forever.
When you are exposed to nature, you heal emotionally within and feel pleasant. It was said that nature is a tonic for physical well-being. It reduces blood pressure, stables heart rates, and decreases the production of stress hormones. Spending time in a natural environment like a green space has been linked to less anxiety, fewer depression symptoms, and lower stress levels. This is a perfect haven for those heavily loaded individuals in the metropolitan city to have a break and recharge their restless souls. You don't have to fly to Baguio, just one ride away in Balamban.
While I was lying on the bed mattress, it feels like I was transported to the desert of Dubai, UAE in the Middle East. I remember the desert safari adventure while staying in the tent. It feels like I was in another country.
My deep gratitude for the help of Ms. Rizalhea Maunes on my booking reservations, everything went well smoothly up there through her coordination from the city, and was treated like a VVIP by Ms. Patt Basnillo from the Housekeeping Department upon arrival. She was ready to help with an umbrella on hand when she was showing me around the area when it began showering. It was a rainy afternoon as Mother Nature waters the earth which soothes the soul by giving us great scenery with the splendid skyline of the mountains.
Chef Crispin Cosino Nable together with the kitchen crew Vanessa Nacua prepared a 5-course meal with a soup dish of Lomi; Pork Sisig and Ngohiong for the Appetizer, Fresh Garden Salad for the Salad, Chicken Inasal for the Main Course, and Mango Shake & Lemonade for my drinks. It made me feel like crying as I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the fine dining experience with breathtaking views. It was heavenly indeed!
