Pleasant staff and good food. There's a quiet beach and a couple of swimming pools. Really relaxing environment and they were even nice enough to move my booking by a day after the ferries were cancelled on the day I was due to arrive.
However, the lack of maintenance is just frustrating and unacceptable. In the first room I was shown to, the air conditioner wasn't working. The second room had no toilet seat on the toilet. The third room had power sockets hanging out of the wall and almost no wifi signal. That was the best choice, as I have a travel router, so I was able to put that outside the door as a repeater to get internet access. But, seriously, going from room to room because of all the broken stuff is not a good introduction to the place.

I booked a one week stay expecting a beachfront dive resort away from the noice and crowds. While the resort is located on a beach, there was no direct access to the beach nor did they have a dive shop at or within walking distance to the hotel. They just refer divers to one of several dive shops, a thirty minute ride from the hotel. No transportation was provided, nor did the dive shops offer pickup from the hotel. The recommendation from the hotel was to rent motorbikes or wait for one of the trikes. The hotel is located away from town and its only restaurant closes at 8:00 pm. The advertised bar/lounge is merely a counter next to the checkin desk where guests can purchase drinks. I found other accommodations in town, located next to a dive shop and checked out after two nights. I registered a complaint with the booking agent who promptly refunded the remaining prepaid nights.

Une oasis de confort et gentillesse. La chambre dans le jardin est très jolie, grande et confortable. Le lit, la salle de bain sont très bien. La piscine est grande et permet de nager en longueur ou de se détendre. Le jardin est très joli et agréable. Le restaurant sert des plats très variés. La plage est magnifique mais malheureusement encombrée de plastiques. Tout le personnel est réellement compétent et serviable. Un merci particulier à Mildred qui est un ange.
