If I could give no stars I would. Awful staff and awful stay. The old lady owner is such a rude person. Would never ever recommend this place in a million years. They are never open at reception they don’t care for their guest at all. The facilities are poor and run down. It’s not very safe and secure. It’s loud so don’t plan on getting much sleep if you stay here. Especially near the pool and tennis court area. Not central to much shopping facilities or food. The rooms are dusty as and you can smell the mould when you first enter. It’s honestly atrocious. They need to clean the places much better especially that there is a world wide pandemic. I felt so dirty being there. The beds are the cheapest spring beds they could find along side with the cheapest pillows. Everything is run down or made poorly.…
Awful Don’t stay there Mouldy smell to our room, dusty blankets Pathways blocked by overgrown leaves and branches No gas in top bbq area empty gas bottle Reception not open to let them know The lady with the grey hair the management / runners of the resort was extremely rude to my partner when he came into the reception area, he asked her a question and she answered rudely but didn’t even lift her head to speak to him and my partner never complains, but seemed upset so I asked what was wrong and he told me what had happened with the female manager who we have now found out her name is Claire. I have stayed there on and off over the past 6 years but haven’t been back for about 3 years.until recently. I always loved my stay there and felt so welcome before my recent stay. When I stayed 3 years ago the place was run by the most beautiful people, so family oriented and I was expecting to see them again, they had the place so well run everything worked and always happy to assist if we needed anything Unlike the new management who are quiet rude really. The only good thing about this stay was the spa and pool and the quiet setting. I’m glad my partner booked in his name not mine as I would be asking for a refund, but my partner is to nice and will just let it go and not say anything, this is why I have not mentioned his name as he would be highly embarrassed we are a older couple and would have liked to be tested kindly not like we were a inconvenience. Bring back the old managers or family friendly people like them. Will never stay there again At the Pacific palms resort 2 lakeside crescent Elizabeth beach…
Pacific Palms resort we for us a quiet escape with Elizabeth Beach a walk away. The Recky club bring a walk away for club style meals was excellent. We experienced a wet week but were able to to enjoy our break regardless. The resort is a great place to wind down!
Pacific Palms Resort is a very pleasant place tucked away amid the palms on a fairly steep hill. The Resort is handy to all the local beauty spots, coffee cafes and a limited number of eateries. It is twenty to twenty-five minutes south of Forster for major shopping and dining out. Each villa has only one car parking space which means that most extra family or friend's cars have to park off site. The resort has limited facilities; a nice pool & spa, a tennis court and a recreational hall with "pay as you go" game machines and pool table. The laundry underneath the hall has three large washers and three dryers and it is free, including the washing powder! Each villa has a conveniently placed BBQ nearby, which is very handy. The villas have two bedrooms and a sofa bed, but only one bathroom/toilet which can be troublesome on occasions. The bed was very comfortable and the TV / DVD worked fine. The kitchen is small with no oven and an ineffective small dishwasher. Pantry space is scarce. Our air conditioner was kaput on arrival and despite assurances that it would be replaced in a couple of days, we were then fed a line that they needed three quotes and the Board of Directors' approval before purchasing a new one. This seemed like a highly unworkable arrangement. They did offer us another villa for our second week, but with weather mild, we got by with just the ceiling fans. Despite this "hick-up", we found the staff friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our two week stay. The biggest draw back with this resort is that it has no free wi-fi. Surely in this day and age, free wi-fi is the norm! If this was provided, we would consider returning to The Pacific Palms Resort.…
A comfortable 2 bed cottage with good supply of amenities was ours for a 3 night stay. Leafy, quiet and nice for a get away. Pleasantly surprised with gift voucher for club because the stove top was not functioning. Some traffic noise. Trialling dog friendly cottages.
