Detailed Reviews
This used to be a regular spot for us... But the last time there were some issues in the parking lot. Just noise and people being drunk. But it made our guests not comfortable. The rooms themselves are the newer Red roof Inn versions with no carpet. I think the solid flooring makes it much easier to clean and maintain. I like that. We also enjoyed the spaces in which the doors open to the outside. thus, you'll see a lot of Red roof and reviews here. It's not bad. But there are better in town.

Check-in was a breeze, staff was friendly and eager to help, complimentary bottled water was a nice welcome...
however, the rooms were musty, the carpeting worn, the comforter was stained and the place needs some TLC.

Did not read the reviews, which after the fact are quite accurate. Smelly, dirty, microscopic bathroom with most stained shower I have witnessed in some time. Again, if you have other options, consider them. Place has a large number of rooms, so why so few guests? I think I now know. Again, I am not some hotel snob and really have few requirements to be satisfied, despite what my last few reviews would lead you to think 😁

Had a reservation here through Red Roofs ready rewards program with a confirmation of room rate of $63.00 + tax. At check in was told over $90.00 + tax.
They figure once you're there they can charge whatever rate they want & you will just pay it. Not! Went down the road to a much nicer looking facility for the price I was supposed to get as a Ready Rewards customer who is supposed to get great pricing. The hotel we stayed at had a great rate without any special " program".

Paint is pilling off the ceiling. Very dirty vinyl floors. Damaged flooring in the bathroom. A dirty rag was used to wipe the refrigerator and microwave. The phone was white but is stained yellow. Dirt in the vent and air conditioner screens. Needs a good cleaning and minor repairs. Only one of the four bed lights works.

Avoid this location. Check out the other Red Roof locations in the Indy area instead. Dirty floors, Dirty bathroom door with one side kicked in, door also nearly hanging off the hinges, AC unit leaked water on the floor, smoke alarm torn apart, the secondary bolt on door non functioning, etc. etc. etc.
Balcony outside seems to be gathering place for folks to talk late into night/morning. Finally used ear plugs to get to sleep. No coffee anywhere in AM, not even in the office area. We were assigned a 2nd floor room which required dragging stuff up a stairway with a dog that has hip/joint issues.

As a Redi Rewards member, I stay at Red Roof 2-3 times a year while traveling from Virginia to Chicago to visit family. My two dogs travel with me, so RR has been great. This year, a storm delayed my travel. With temperatures at -25°, I checked in expecting a warm room. The heat was turned off! I turned it on expecting the room to warm quickly as my experience at other locations told me that the heater can turn the room into a sauna. I called the front desk to inquire and was told I “just had to wait for it to warm up.” Two hours later, it’s still cold. Call again and ask for a new room. The heat is also off. I crank it up and burrow under the covers with my canine heaters and wait…maybe the room will be warm by the time I checkout in the morning.
On top of that, the TV cut in and out, the remote needed new batteries, if you could get them to stay in the remote. The hair dryer didn’t work, which considering how cold it was in the room, I was not looking forward to sleeping with wet hair. The water was warm…maybe I should’ve slept in the shower.

Bed spread and sheets in first room were stained and/or dirty with cigarette holes in them, in the first room we were put in. Ditto on second, with what appeared to be stains from someone's hair from sleeping in the 2nd room. Third room the refrigerator didn't work. Fourth room we were willing to believe that the sheets, though stained could actually have been clean and the fridge worked and it was now 2am and we were ready to sleep.
The floors in all the rooms looked like they hadn't been mopped in months and had a lot of dirt on them.
If all Red Roof Inns were this dirty, I wouldn't ever stay there, though I've been a loyal Red Roof customer for a long time. It was shocking.
Lots of upgrades in the room (light switches, nice floor, etc) but so much in disrepair. Seemed like a lot of wasted potential at this location.
Coffee machine in lobby didn't work. Washing machine didn't work, which we didn't need, but it would have sucked if we did! At least the ice machine did work!
The night front desk guy was friendly and understanding and willing to do his best and check in with us and gave us a discount. We knew the whole situation wasn't his fault, but he was good.
It was better than sleeping in our car.

Worst place I have ever stayed at. Here on Business because there were no other Hotels available because of a sports tournament in town. There were holes in the walls, ceilings, and floors. Bedding was stained and bathroom was dirty. When asked to get bedding changed they changed it to another dirty set of bedding. All the people that stayed there knew each other as if they lived there. My company got me out the next day and we stayed somewhere else.

The evening people when we checked in were nice. However that is the only nice thing I can say. My husband and I had stayed here a few times in 2018 because my mom was in a nursing home and it was close. Was under renovations at the time.
We came up for a family get together this past weekend and I thought they would be done and the place spruced up. Well instead of spruced up, it has gone downhill! The room had been "renovated", it was dirty. The floor was dirty.
The next day, I went to get some coffee in the office. I greeted the staff in the office, I was ignored. Ok, I got some coffee, but it was stone cold. This was never an issue in 2018. We were gone all day. When we returned, the towels had not been replaced, the bed not made. The trash not emptied.
When we checked out, the "manager" asked my husband, "how was your stay?" He looked at her and said, "it was ok." She smiled, gave him our receipt and he left. Usually if someone says the stay was "ok", the management asks if there was a problem. She did not. Needless to say, unless this Red Roof Inn makes drastic changes, I will not stay again when in Indianapolis. I am not a picky person, but this place is gross, dirty and the staff mostly unfriendly.

I believe you must be 18 or 21 to rent a room. Check with 1-800-RED-ROOF.
Hello -I wanted to let you know that this is not true! We would like to think we have no bad rooms on the property. We do treat every reservation the same. In fact, I will even double check you room to make sure they are ready for your arrival.
