We stayed two nights visiting family for the holiday, king room on the first floor. The grassy area was easy to access and large enough for dog breaks. Didn't spend much time in the room but it did the trick. Check in and out was simple. The area was well lit at night and felt safe.

The room was very clean and seemed newly remodeled. Had refidgerator and microwaveStaff was friendly. The whole area seemed very quiet. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I would stay here again without thinking about it.

We spent one night in this hotel and it was acceptable. The price was great ($55). After reading all of the reviews on TripAdvisor, I booked it online.
Pros:
location - everything you might be looking for is very close in terms of restaurants, shopping, lots of other lodging right here as well
price
cleanliness - I'd say it was about a 7 out of 10. Nothing gross, but not totally clean and shiny either.

amenities - you don't get anything but a room and tv/wireless. No breakfast (which was clearly stated), there was soap in the bath, but no shampoo, no hair dryer, no iron, etc.
Overall, it was a good place to stay for a night. We would consider returning, but I'd probably shop around a bit too.

Went to a sporting event and all hotels were booked or very expensive ($1000 a night). Was able to get this for a night. If all you need is a bed then it does the job. Was there with college friends which was fine but would NEVER bring my family.
It is bare bones and not clean. The rooms have no closets. There were not enough towels for the 4 of us. Front desk is not always staffed; they have this virtual front desk which I suspect is the same guy just sitting in the back room. The only real positive is the location, lots of food places nearby.

Room was quite small but clean and updated. Very bare bones. No fridge, no safe, only 2 pillows and 2 towels. Bed was not comfortable. No do not disturb sign so they entered my room while i was out to make the bed which i did not like. Wifi was almost useless. Could browse on a phone but my data network was faster. TV was a good size but no streaming and the wifi was not strong enough to stream if you bring your own streaming device. So basic TV only. The complementary LA fitness is no longer a option even though they still advertise it. They claim it was supposed to be taken off the site. I had to request a discount since this was the reason we picked this location over other options. A minimal discount was offered. Walls were thin, heard lots of neighbor noise and frequently smelled smoking even though it's a nonsmoking building. Water presure was decent but water doesn't get very hot, all the way up it was warm at best. Good if the price is the cheapest in town and your budget is tight. Otherwise not worth it.

Virtual checkin. Which seemed odd, but ok. The problem was everything else. Windows in our room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in at least a year Very dated. Burn holes in bathroom floor. No shampoo. The main problem was the homeless gentleman camping out at the doors facing Michigan Rd.. He was always following the girls coming in or out. No camera at that door. Well it was there but positioned so that it faced a wooden beam. In the hallways, the windows were open with no screens in them. Thank God my son was accompanying me!!! And even though I called the front desk to report this gentleman, he was still there in the a.m.. So basically they ignored my call. I felt the guests were not high on thier list of priorities

The room was not clean, the housekeeper was slamming doors and arguing loudly in the hallway at 3AM. There are absolutely no amenities, not even a little bottle of shampoo. No hairdryer, only two pillows on the bed. The outside is nice, but inside has just not been kept up.

Room not very clean drain in sink clogged had to have two separate people to get it unclogged. Doors were suppose to be secured but lock not working. Pass this one up to stay seems that it is family operated

They are renovating and we ask for a new room, the beds were brand new however the room was not clean and the beds were not comfy at all the hallway was dirty as well. We went at night after driving 8 hours and we need it to rest but, it was not clean or comfy at all the next morning we look at around and it was so sorry in the parking lot empty bologna packages in the rocks in front of the hotel. Never again
