1. Full size fridge means a freezer for the obligatory ice cream 2. Comfortable table and chairs in the separate dining area, a desk with rolling for work, and a couch in the living room area, with an easy chair in the bedroom (doors separating them), so place to sit for whatever the mood is. 3. Washer/dryer available by the weight room, in case I want to do laundry before heading home
Breakfast was a little sparse, though individual containers of Silk Almond Milk was nice. Coffee was ok but not available after breakfast (pots are out but empty).

We are big fans of Home2Suites and have stayed at them all over the country. On a drive back from down south, we booked a room at this location via their website about 2 hours prior to arrival (to avoid a snowstorm). Upon arrival the man at the desk informed me that they didn’t have the type room I had booked (2 queens plus a pull out sofa bed) available. He asked if this was a problem. I explained that it was a problem because our teenage daughter and teenage son don’t really want to share a bed, nor should they. I asked about adding a rollaway bed, but they didn’t have any. He said there was nothing he could do and ended up placing us in a handicap accessible King suite because it was all he had clean. After driving all day, my husband got to share a less than comfortable pullout sofa bed with our adult sized teenage son. (My husband is a gentleman and insisted that the ladies have the bed. Chivalry still exists.)
I’m sure our attitude regarding everything else towards this hotel was soured by the room issue, but here it goes:
I know it’s small potatoes, and it’s a snapshot of what it would be like to need an accessible room and not get one, but.. Only one of us showered because all of the extra knobs and seat in the shower were in the way. The bathroom counter and the mirror were too low for all of us (we are all over 6 feet tall). There was no desk chair, which was weird and inconvenient.
Also, I had to go back to the lobby to ask for the pullout bedding (shocker). The man at the desk was busy kicking people out for trying to have a birthday party in the pool. No need to go to the pool after hearing that. The toilet wouldn’t stop running and we had to listen to it all night. The remote was missing the battery cover and was held together with tape. The sliding bathroom door was almost impossible for us (able bodied) to move, I can’t imagine being in a wheelchair and having to move that. The area seemed a bit sketchy and there are signs saying to park at your own risk both at the hotel and the restaurants nearby.
Compared to other Home2Suites, this one was built on the cheap! Paper thin walls and floors meant that we heard and felt everything. Even as average weight people, we shook the floor just walking across the room. Usually Home2Suites are so sturdy and quiet!
Like I said, I’m sure we were hypersensitive to everything here after the room mix up, but by far our worst Home2Suites experience. Makes me nervous about future stays at other Home2Suites. Just when you think you know what to expect...

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff! Our room was very comfortable with everything we could need for our stay. We loved the convenience of having a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and plateware provided. Standard hotel breakfast. All easy to make and tasted good. Enjoyed having the option of healthy food and real plates and silverware instead of plastic wasting disposables. Pool area was nice and clean but the room was extremely cold and made the water way too cold as well. Pity, as that was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Overall, we had a great stay and plan on choosing a Home 2 Suites for our next trip!

This was the nicest, friendliest hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff very helpful, and the rooms were super clean, comfortable, and very modern. We reserved two rooms to accommodate two adults and five children. Both had kitchenettes with a fridge, sink, microwave, dish water, and even plates and cups. The hotel was kid-friendly and had a lovely breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.

Only 2 wash clothes were provided, one had to be used to wash the nastiness out of the shower. Around 10am the morning of our second day we requested a blanket, it never came. We made the same request in the evening with the same outcome. Also on the second day room service didn’t touch our room to do so much as replenish towels or remove trash. Both evenings were interrupted with LOUD music, very displeasing when traveling with a 14 week old baby. I know that isn’t the hotels fault but worth noting.

This hotel is spot on. I really appreciate everything about it from location to amound of plugs in the room. The modern design is spot on. Plenty of space in the rooms. The designers really paid attention to the things people need from a hotel space. I would add a light above the sink and more outlets in the bathroom if I were designing but that's not a criticism. The staff here was really nice and helpful. There was a dirty sheet on the pull out couch but I don't really hold that against them. There was a set of clean sheets we just changed them out and let the staff know.
The pool is small but nice. The only thing that would really fill this property out would be a hot tub.
They welcome your pets (dogs and cats) with open arms. Really great option if you bring your whole family. Our dogs were very comfortable. Lots of grass around to help your furry friends out.
The location is perfect with many awesome food options within walking distance. The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars was the missing hot tub.

We have stayed here a few times in the past and at alternate Home 2 Suites in Indiana, so the cons to this review are comparative to previous stays at this location and in Indiana.
pro: there was a really nice man who checked me in. He does a great job making guests feel welcome and should be commended for his professionalism.
cons: I realize we are in a pandemic but if it is ok to put out the coffee dispensers for breakfast hours, I fail to see how it is more of a risk to leave those services out for guests all day. They do not leave them. Come 10 am, you can only get coffee there via those pod things you get in your room.
Next: they charges us $115 PER NIGHT for a pet fee. It would have been a bit high to get that as a one time charge but easier to stomach than PER NIGHT. In previous stays, it was $75 per stay. In other pet-friendly hotels in Indy, it is $75 per stay. So, what's up with the usurious price gouging here?
breakfast varies by hotel. Again, I realize we are in a pandemic but we stayed at a different Home 2 suites in a different city and they had nuke yourself jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, nuke yourself omelettes, individual muffins or bagels, individual cereals or oatmeal, boiled eggs and fruit. Whereas this place had these predone bags with an individual bagel (but no means to toast), cream cheese, 2 boiled eggs and a small yogurt.
I can get over the coffee lacking and breakfast differences but the pet fee has turned us against this location for future, which is a shame because it is more convenient.

I stayed here in August overnight to visit my mother in law. The room I stayed in was very nice. When I checked out I was charged a $250 SMOKING FEE and I never smoked in the room. On top of being charged a smoking fee I was falsely accused of smoking marijuana which is a true insult to my character. We stayed on the 4th floor and it smelled like marijuana in the hallway. If I had known I was going to be charged a smoking fee I would have smoked my black and mild in the room instead of going outside and freezing my butt off. This is very Disgraceful! I will never stay at another Hilton Property especially Home 2 Suites in Indianapolis North West.

This stay was not what I have expected or experience in the past from Home 2 suites . No TV remote and half of the lights in the room did not work , many were missing light bulbs . At other stays with this chain there is coffee available 24 /7 and complimentary bottled water , neither were available at this stay .

In a sketchy neighborhood, room and hallway smelled like weed, and bathroom door slide was broken. Breakfast was only pre bagged (bagel, yogurt, and 2 hard boiled eggs), and there was no fruit option. I would not recommend staying here.
