Because of Covid, we decided to have a small family-only wedding in Indianapolis, with a long weekend stay at The Ironworks Hotel.
We booked a couples massage prior to checking in at Massage Heights, which is located in the hotel. I also arranged for two dozen roses and a bottle of champagne to be in the room when we arrived.
When we first arrived at the hotel, we opted to utilize the free valet parking. Our valet, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember (I do know he is from Anderson, IN), was absolutely amazing. He was one of the friendliest, most helpful people I have ever encountered at a hotel, and he parked our car and took our luggage to our room. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about all the amenities and restaurants available in the area, along with congratulating us on our nuptials.
When we arrived in our room, there were rose petals on our bed, along with the roses I had ordered, which were absolutely the most gorgeous roses I have ever seen. Our champagne also arrived chilled with two glasses. The room was one of the cleanest and most quiet hotel rooms I have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot over the years). The shower was luxurious, and the towels and linens were extremely soft, as was the bed.
The restaurants at The Ironworks Hotel range from everyday fare to fine dining, and each one we tried was excellent. I definitely recommend the chef’s wine pairing dinner at Provision, which was out of this world, as was the service. And if you’re feeling especially adventurous, you can try a grasshopper street taco for lunch at Verde, an exceptional Mexican restaurant close to the hotel. We also ordered room service several times during our stay, which we enjoyed immensely.
I must say that everyone who works at the hotel was extremely friendly and congratulated us on our getting married. We truly felt welcomed, which is really appreciated when you’re a same-sex couple. (They even helped my wife print out her vows at the front desk!)
Another extremely important detail about the hotel is that everyone adhered to health department and CDC guidelines. Because we are both frontline healthcare workers, this was especially important to us, and we appreciated the hotel following these guidelines so closely.
If you really want to treat yourselves to an amazingly romantic and luxurious couples getaway, The Ironworks Hotel is absolutely where you want to be!!

Thank you for selecting the Ironworks Hotel to host your celebratory weekend! It seems you really made the most of your experience between us and our business partners on the campus. Likewise, your positivity also resonated with our Guest Services team. These employees distinctly remembered having assisted you with your order for two dozen red roses and your wife with her printing needs. They even recall how giddy she was upon arrival to the front desk to retrieve her vows! As frontline workers amidst COVID, you deserve nothing less than an extra special stay in honor of your nuptials. I am so very proud to learn we exceeded expectations! Hope to welcome you back for your first anniversary (if not sooner!)

We reserved the Legacy Terrace and it was AMAZING. I received alerts via text before coming to the hotel and I indicated it was a birthday celebration. Moments after arriving the hotel staff brought up a small cake, some indy style popcorn and a card. As soon as we came back from dinner I ordered some wine and it arrived within minutes. The next morning we had a few friends come by and their dog was even allowed to come up to the room for an hour before we checked out. I would recommend to anyone- nothing but positive things to say.

Wife’s birthday, hotel very interesting and pleasant. Staff great and accommodating. Designer and Architects failed Ergonomics. Nothing easily works. Shower, you need to be totally inside the shower to turn on, and the combination of soft water and soap on granite tile doesn’t work. No place to hang Towels inside shower. The Greenhouse rooms on the 5th floor requires you pull down the sun shades ( thanks for the Umbrella) otherwise I couldn’t reach them. Attention to detail also an issue. Huge luggage carts don’t fit in hallways if housekeeper cart in Hall. Clock not advanced the Daylight Savings and the cream for Coffee old snd congealed yuck. I’ll keep in my comfort zone...with hotel professionals

My husband & I met in the middle of the country for an intentional day of rest before returning to our fast pass life. Ironworks appeared to be a change of pace, with restaurants within, attached across the parking lot, a place we could stay & never leave - exactly what we needed.
Ironworks, work hard, play hard and ever aspect has been given a rustic touch with modern day amenities. From a stocked refrigerator to snacks, to plenty of linens, comfortable bed...
Air controls not just the temp, but fan...the industrial looking duct work is like having a ceiling fan without a fan - possibly our favorite. The snack prices were very reasonable. I'm not sure but what we would have paid more at a convenience store.
The room came supplied with an umbrella, robes, wine glasses, & bottle opener to use if you needed it and had the option for purchase.
We only ordered room service once from Rise. It was healthy food, large portions, ask in advance if you aren't familair.
The valet parking is complimentary. They utilize an app for call ahead service.
There wasn't an employee that didn't greet us with a smile and help in whatever way we needed.
We will most definately recommend and return if we ever find ourselves in Indy.

This hotel is delightful in every way. Driving up to it, right away, you’ll notice that the ground floor of this sprawling, modern industrial style piece of architecture is inhabited by a wonderful variety of restaurants as well as businesses for the physically active. The rooms are much more spacious than the average and have so many fun touches, like a shadow shower and a giant smart TV. We ate at 2 restaurants while we were here and they were excellent. I only wished we had made reservations to get into the hotels restaurant “Provisions”. Check in and check out were super smooth and valet parking is complimentary. One tip I would recommend is bringing your own bottled water if you are a water snob like me because the water in the room isn’t complimentary. I highly recommend you stay in this beautiful place!!!

Lovely hotel, great restaurant, etc. Wasn't the urban experience I expected but good enough for my traveling needs. I'm with my dogs and they like it as well but the dog treat bowl is always empty when we walk by.
Mainly though, I was wigged out that hotel staff were not masked or protected from me by plexiglas. I'm a few thousand miles into my trip and this is the first hotel, gas station, etc I've encountered where there were no such precautions. The staff offered me sanitizer, which was nice, but the disease is primarily airborne. Restaurant staff (different company) and evening valet were appropriately masked but not the hotel staff. Geronimo Hospitality Group, which owns the hotel, has a card in the room touting health and safety measures, but it strikes a chord of tokenism.

My son and his fiance had to cancel their wedding on May 23rd, and reschedule to May of 2021. To keep their spirits up, my son and I planned a trip to Indy for them to have a little get away. Well let me tell you with the help of the AMAZING staff at Ironworks Indy - it blew them (and all of us) out of the water. Guest Services Manager Lisa Vitkin can make anything happen. I am in Wisconsin, and through emails, phone conversations and texts we pulled it all together in 2.5 days. The room was set with personal notes from the kids to each other, beautiful roses and petals, gift baskets from family, etc. Then for the big night that was originally the wedding night. Lisa and her front desk helpers - Taylor M. and Manali P. - set up a private room, with a dessert, a signature cocktail, a floral arrangement, soft lighting and a note from us. As they entered the room, they had their first dance song playing on the sound system. I think at that moment the world stopped for them both...and all was perfect. To have that time of pure magic was incredible. I can not say enough of how this entire team went so far outside the box in helping me create my vision. If you are looking for a get away or somewhere to create something spectacular, give them a call. You will not be disappointed.

Truly a one of a kind hotel outside of downtown and near lots of shops and restaurants. Greg Tucker was great to work with getting a rate setup and the process was very easy. Alana at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable about the property and area. Having the doorman available around the clock was a great detail that many hotels have gone away from. They were always friendly and would literally run to the door to make sure that nobody would have to open it on their own. I can’t wait to be back.

As much as we love reading about our guests' praises regarding our building, amenities, local offerings, etc. it's reviews like these this really warm our heart. A hospitable staff that is ready to serve is what we deem ourselves most proud of. I am very humbled to learn that this is the component of your stay that resonated with you the most. Your compliments will be shared with Greg, Alana, and the valet staff. Thank you for your kind review highlighting these hard-working individuals. We stayed in a regular room with a king size bed and the room was better than we expected. The view was amazing and it was clean and the decor was amazing. Every detail fit in with the theme. The bathroom and shower were gorgeous and so clean as well. The staff checking in especially Sophie was friendly and very helpful and smiling and welcoming. She gave us all the info on how the key card worked, how late we could get food or drinks in the hotel and about room service. We had a small issue with an unruly guest early in the morning and called down to front desk and he took care of it right away, the one thing we did not see until after we left was a text message apologizing for the issue and that if it disrupted our sleep we could extend checkout which was awesome. Also when we checked out Taylor apologized for the issue which was nice and she too was extremely helpful and friendly. I have to say even the young men working the front door were friendly and carried on conversation with us. We would go back and stay for sure. I am travel agent and so this is a place I highly recommend.

Wow! Where do I even start! My whole experience was amazing! The moment I arrived to Ironworks I knew my friends and I made the right choice for a ladies night out! George greeted us with a warm welcome and was very accommodating. The wood and iron decor is very chic. The pictures don't do it justice. You have to see how beautiful this hotel is in person! Check-in is on the second floor. Jack, Tk and Travis were very helping at check-in. All had wonderful suggestions for restaurants near by. I can't praise the staff enough! Okay, guys, the room!!! OMG! We stayed in the Legacy Terrace Suite. All the little touches made us feel right at home. They even had a bottle of champagne for us when we arrived. We were celebrating my birthday. Plenty of space, with a king size and hideaway bed. The king bed was sooooooo comfortable. The waterfall shower was so relaxing. The Terrace was perfect to have cocktail on. It was a little chilly that night but they have a cool fire pit! On to the food! We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Both we wonderful! Rize is the brunch spot located on the first floor. They offer farm to table options. We loved the cinnamon roll, it's a must try! You can tell they use all fresh ingredients and are made in house. The lady who delivered our food was very professional and sweet! Provision is the dinner restaurant located on the second floor. I arranged for a charcuterie board to be delivered while my guest arrived. One of the best of had in the city. We later ordered dinner which was just as amazing. The lady who delivered our dinner was also very sweet! Lastly I want to mention Taylor. I arranged all of this will her. She was listen to all my needs and made sure her staff showed us a great time! Thank you Ironworks team , look forward to staying again! 10/10
