We spent 4 nights at the Candlewood Suites Indianapolis Northwest. We like that all rooms have a kitchenette and that there's a (free!) laundry room on-site. Since housekeeping is only once per week you may need to request clean towels or other supplies from the front desk.

I actually made a reservation at a different hotel, for the wrong date. When that hotel was too full to accommodate my family, Kim, at Candlewood Suites came through for us. She welcomed us at the hotel and was able to give us a terrific room at a great price. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable and we didn't hear anyone or anything else once we got into our room. We had a great night's sleep. Thank you Kim! 10 star service!!!

With hundreds of stays around the world, it was a great pleasure to have a great stay again at this hotel. I can not say enough about the employees that i had the pleasure of dealing with. Erica, was so nice at checkin and Tara was the best and making sure that my suite was always keep up to the level of quality of the brand. Steve was great in helping with the business needs that i had and Keith and Derek helped with making sure that my shipping boxes were available. It was a pleasure to meet members of management Janet that were helpful and Bill that always show concern that the guest are welcomed and taken care of. Overal the hotel was quiet and the rooms were great and the respect of the customer service was great. The hotel lives up to the brand of what was set out from years ago. The staff was again was the best.

My wife’s experience at this Candlewood Suites was not great. The room just had a sense of dirtiness. The duvet cover was dirty and a couple of the pillows as well. My wife waited the next day to see if they would be changed and they weren’t. She told the manager on duty who seemed to want to make things right. Well they did not go right. Housekeeping was to change the linens the next day and they did not. My wife went to the two housekeepers on the floor to inquire about the bed being changed and they handed my wife the linens for her to change herself. Upon checking out, she informed that manager and he gave her extra points to make up for it. We won’t be staying at a Candlewood Suites again.

Based on your feedback this does not seem to be the case. I apologize that the cleanliness of the room did not meet your expectations. To make things worse the service provided to help you was not equally efficient and acceptable. Your experience has been shared with the Management of the Hotel, specifically our housekeeping and front desk teams, so they can look into how we can further enhance our practices. This hotel is in an industrial park so since we were there on a weekend, it was extremely quiet. It was clean and updated. There was no breakfast served however they did have a pantry where you could purchase some items. Not having breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment as almost all hotels now serve some of breakfast however our room did have a kitchen so we could have made our own had we wanted to purchase food.
When we arrived on Saturday night, the water in the shower was just a tad bit hotter than lukewarm so a shower was possible however Sunday morning, it was cold (not even lukewarm). To the hotels credit, when we mentioned it as we were checking out, they quickly and readily offered to give us a refund of $50 so that was very much appreciated. Both of the people we encountered at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating.
There was an outdoor grilling area and a basketball hoop which appears to be for people who are staying there long-term.
Overall, an average experience.

Our family planned a three-night stay at this hotel while in town for a soccer tournament. When we checked in, we were greeted with a room that reeked of smoke. We went back down to the front desk to ask if we could change rooms due to the strong smell of smoke (and a child with asthma) but they said no other rooms were available. I asked if it would be possible for us to get a full refund since we would be unable to stay in the room, and would have to find another hotel. After speaking to her manager on the phone, the front desk employee confirmed that we would receive a full refund. Unfortunately, though our credit charge for the full three night's stay went through, no refund was applied. I called the hotel, and was told I would receive a return phone call regarding the situation, but have not received a call. I emailed, but have not received a response. At this time, I cannot recommend this hotel.

We were there for just one night. The staff at checkin took a very long time to help guests. In the days of COVID, none of them seemed to care about distancing though there was a plexiglass partition, but they tried to hand me a pen another guest just used, no signs about distancing on the floor (like at other hotels). The room was a little dreary and the countertops on the desk/table and in the kitchen were chipped, there was no drain cover for the disposal. It just was sub par.

It is very basic hotel. We had a wedding group booking. Rooms have typical smell. Though this place should be Non-Smoking, I am afraid, some people may be smoking. Bathroom door did not close in my room # 410. Mattresses are just ok. Staff not much interested in their work.

Came to Indianapolis for the Indy 500. Thought this hotel was closer to the track. It was about 20 minutes northwest in an industrial park section. This meant, without a car, (thankfully we had one), there were few restaurants to easily get to. No breakfast at this hotel either. It came with a kitchen, but the cooktop didn’t work. And, the old a/c unit was so loud, I wasn’t sure we would be able to sleep. I complained about both, but nothing was done. Hotel was sold out. No where to move. This hotel would be much more attractive if they offered breakfast.

I had planned a trip to Indianapolis but it was cancelled. I notified this hotel (Candlewood) 3 weeks in advance and expected to be billed for the first day or for half the reservation. Instead, despite 3 weeks notice I have been told I will be billed for the entire reservation (almost $1,000.00). Then they can rent the same room to someone else for the full fee. Any alleged "discount" applied to the reservation was a total rip-off as far as I am concerned.
