The Bradley hotel garners praise for its stylish rooms and cleanliness, with guests often appreciating the modern decor and well-maintained facilities. While the central location is lauded for its proximity to attractions, some have mentioned occasional noise. Opinions on the hotel's value and amenities are mixed; the lack of certain in-room features, such as coffee makers, has been noted, yet many enjoy the rooftop bar and commend the attentive staff, despite occasional slow service. The overall atmosphere is described as welcoming and artistically inclined.

The Bradley is the newest cleanest hotel in Fort Wayne. The fragrance I don’t know what it is but it smells sooo good. It’s so new you can still smell the paint. The breakfast is modern, healthy, contemporary, and fresh. It is name for its namesake Vera Bradley and her influence in colors and decor can be seen and felt throughout the property. The balcony suite is affordable and beautiful and the shower is big enough to fit at least 8 adults ( not that 8 adults would all ever be in a shower😉).

The rooftop bar is amazing there are heating apparatuses and fire pits on the rooftop to ensure the guests stay warm and the restaurant itself is enclosed inside.

The Bradley seemed pricey when I booked initially (this is on me because I booked my stay on fairly short notice), but after my stay, I’d say it was well worth the price. The decor is a cute “bougie country fashion” vibe, and everywhere in the building was spotlessly clean. The staff were all very welcoming and nice. The room, while small, was extremely cozy and comfortable, and had a ton modern amenities (flat screen smart TV, outlets and usb ports in both nightstands and the desk, touchscreen climate controls. The bathroom was bigger than expected, and the shower had great water pressure.

The restaurant on the first floor, Arbor, was AMAZING on all counts. The food was fine dining quality, and The staff there were extremely attentive.

I would definitely stay here again if I return to Fort Wayne.

The Bradley is well-appointed and in a fun downtown location. Unfortunately there are a number of rough edges when it comes to service and comfort. Although we asked several times to have our room cleaned during our 5 -day stay, and were assured daily that it would happen, it never happened until we approached a housekeeper directly. Staff response was to offer us a free cup of coffee rather than fixing their system. Also, the ice machine and water station above our room made noise most of the night. Parking is 2 blocks away, so the valet parking was the only option given the weather and location. The valets were very responsive. We ate at both restaurants once. They were fine, but the menus were very limited.

For our wedding anniversary my wife and I decided on a trying the new highly touted Bradley boutique hotel. From the start this was a big and expensive mistake. Parking instructions were incorrect and out of frustration I excepted the $20.00 per day valet parking. The room was large and furnished well except that it lacked clear instruction or information on the facility and surrounding opportunities. We found the small refrigerator in an overheated cabinet that was to hot to chill our celebratory champagne. In my search for ice I ended up downstairs where they directed me to a hidden cooler on my floor that once found was full of water and plastic bags that looked like an aquarium where all of the gold fish had escaped. The air conditioning system was loud and the sound of a pump cycled every ten seconds or so. When I questioned the front desk I was told that the system was new and that there were a few bugs that needed to be worked out. Needless to say a good night's sleep was not possible with the sound of a sump-pump kicking in every 10 seconds. The next surprise came at 3:00 pm the next day when we returned to a room that wasn't made up. The desk said that they didn't make up rooms for multiple night stays. (An extra roll of toilet paper would be a nice touch with this policy.) We did enjoy some very nice meals a nearby restaurants because there is limited food available in this boutique hotel and nothing at all between 2:00PM - 5:00PM. (not even a vending machine that we could find) . All of that said we could have saved several hundred dollars at any one of several optional hotels in the area and enjoyed much better service.

Dear F517QKbill, First off, Happy 51st again, I am grateful that you shared your special occasion with us. As we talked at the desk, we do apologize for the inconsistencies in your experience, they are certainly not what is indicative of a stay with us should be. I assure you that we are working on each and every issues you brought to us, including directional signage for ice, a fix for the HVAC unit on the roof that is kicking on incorrectly (which we found based on your feedback). Our digital concierge Paige, should have included a link to our hotel amenities page when we texted your welcome text upon check in, if this was not pointed out by our team, I apologize. In the end, we may fail, but we never shy from our mistakes and we work hard to rectify them for yourself and future guests. I hope that you can come back and stay with us again to show you the progress we have made. Sincerely, Zach Miller

While the Bradley is closer to central Ft. Wayne than many other hotels, it is not really convenient from a walking perspective to any of the center city places of interest. The major problem I encountered was parking. A small parking lot next to the hotel, which says for guests only, is not policed by the hotel staff. When I asked the front desk about a card or something for my car while parked in the lot, I was told that they didn't have anything like that. There are very few spots in this lot, and I would bet that locals know they are not policed, so spaces are rarely available for hotel guest. I was directed to a public lot a block from the hotel, where I could pay $8 each time I took my car out, OR, I could pay the hotel $14, which would give me in and out access during a 24 hour period. After leaving the hotel for a day, returning at 9:00 PM, I decided to unwind with a seat at the bar and a martini. As there was no one else in the bar or the adjacent restaurant, I asked if it was closed already. The bar tender said no, made my drink and started cleaning things up, at which point a cook came out from kitchen and sat at the bar chatting up the bar tender. My quiet unwinding was not to be. Then, when I went up to my room I discovered my room was not serviced while I was gone that day. When I went to the desk to report this, I was told that they only serviced the rooms of people staying 5 days or longer. This made no sense, but it was late, and I was tired, so I just didn't ask for any explanation. When I checked out the next day, and was asked about my stay, I reported that I wasn't too happy with this policy, the parking situation, and the chattiness of the staff in the public spaces. The person on the desk said I should have been told at check in about the room servicing policy, that they were building a parking garage across the street, and he would speak to the staff. I responded that the first two issues should be in the hotel's advertising, and I hope it will be in the future.

Dear Jerry, Feedback from guests like yourself is extraordinarily important to us in these early days of our being open as we’re constantly shaping and improving our experience so that we can consistently impress. Thank you for being so in-depth in recounting your stay. As you were told on-site, parking, while certainly available, is an item that we’re actively looking to streamline. We apologize for any inconvenience caused in the interim and for the communication issues you described. In the future, know that if your room needs servicing outside of our typical cadence, our housekeeping team is always eager to see how they can accommodate upon request. We’ll continue to work out ways to be more transparent so that those who join us can worry less about imperfect details and focus more on enjoying a relaxing, unforgettable stay. We’d love another opportunity to better care for you, so please, consider settling in again and let us know if we can help you make those return arrangements. Sincerely, Zach Miller General Manager

As other reviews have indicated there is no coffee in the room. Apparently they want to make more money by forcing guests to pay for it in the lobby. Also there is no ironing board in the rooms. Again they apparently want to make more money by forcing quests to use their laundry services. They could easily put a small board and iron on the lower shelf of the closet area. I just wanted to quickly press out a few wrinkles and that is ridiculous. The room is beautifully decorated but if you want to advertise yourself as an upscale boutique hotel you need to provide what guests want. The towels are thin and there aren't enough of them. When we arrived there was no hot water but that was quickly fixed. We ate dinner in the restaurant and there was only a waitress and a bartender serving the entire room. I felt sorry for them, I guess another way they are trying to save money. The menu was interesting but limited.

Dear LibTorrance, We appreciate your take on our experience. In these relatively early days of our being open, we find ourselves in an exploratory phase where we’re continuing to assess how best to serve the streamlined, memorable experience we ideated at our inception while ensuring that necessities are not omitted in the process. Our team loves that you’ve taken the time to look over our reviews and hope that, as you assessed feedback, you can agree that the overwhelming consensus is we’ve done a great job of supporting those that do us the honor of checking in. That’s not to suggest that improvement, particularly when it comes to your objection around staff support which is a constant object of our focus, isn’t something we will continue to strive for. Please be advised that all of our guestrooms are outfitted with a steamer, located on the shelf in the bathroom. Also, we are always happy to provide irons and ironing boards free of charge upon request. It would be a pleasure to see you back in Fort Wayne so that we might more fully win you over. In any case, we wish you well in your travels. Sincerely, Brent Pope General Manager

My wife and I chose The Bradley for our trip to Ft. Wayne to visit family fully expecting to have a delightful experience with a smaller, more intimate hotel. Unfortunately The Bradley was deficient in both amenities and in courtesy, leaving us severely disappointed.

First, for those driving a car parking is an extra cost. The choices are paid self parking and paid valet parking. I chose self parking only to be directed to a city parking garage more than a block away where I had to climb three flights of stairs each time I left or retrieved the car. Luckily the weather was good. At least the garage was covered. The valet lot was uncovered on the street.

Second, there was no in room coffee service. In order to start my day I had to get dressed and go to the first floor. There was no complimentary coffee service for guests. The option was to pay $3.75 for each paper cup of coffee. Taking two cups to the room required setting them on the floor at the elevators in order to use the key card then stooping again to retrieve them, repeating the trick again to get back into the room. A sign at the cafe informed there was Starbucks three blocks away.

Third, there was no print material any where to explain hotel amenities and services or policies such as how to obtain fresh towels. When my wife asked the front desk how to obtain fresh towels the reply was, “Didn’t you read your email!”

Fourth, the top sheet on the bed had a several inch tear parallel to the edge. This was unexpected for a relatively new, relatively “upscale” “boutique” hotel and said a lot about the general standards in operation.

Fifth, one of the hotel’s advertised attractions is its rooftop restaurant bar called Birdies. Unfortunately the advertising does not explain that Birdies is available for private parties and it was closed to the public for a wedding the night we had expected to dine there.

Sixth, I went to the front desk to ask where I could print boarding passes for my flight the next day. I was told that I could not print boarding passes at The Bradley. When I expressed my surprise I was told by the front desk attendant, “I’ve been in the hotel industry two years and I’ve never had anyone else ever ask to print a boarding pass.” I ended up hiking six blocks to the Hilton where I used the complimentary computer terminals in the lobby to print the passes.

Seventh, our room was pleasant but quite small. There was no tub, only a shower.

The wait staff in the Arbor and Birdies, the two on site restaurants, were polite and efficient. The front desk staff were imperious and rude and appeared to resent being asked for help.

I would sum up The Bradley as being all about assuring itself that it looks good on the surface while offering none of the amenities or conveniences we expect from even a mid line hotel, let alone one that styles itself as something special.

Dear Vacation07457646422, We appreciate you choosing our hotel and taking a moment to share how you felt your stay went. Overall, it’s clear that several aspects of your visit didn’t fully meet your expectations, and while some of those dimensions are part of our advertised experience, it’s all disappointing to hear nevertheless. We strive to provide guests with stays that feel unique to each person’s individual needs. That flexibility and willingness to help was clearly lacking in some cases and will be discussed internally. We’ll continue to finesse our experience in ways that we trust will better serve our guests. As we do, if ever we can provide more details on how to get the most out of a future visit with us, know that we’re here for you before, during, and after you settle in. Sincerely, Brent Pope General Manager

Top marks for a wonderful stay. On arrival the Man on Valet parking carried my bags in, helped me to check in, and carried my suitcase to the room, which was quite with a whispering sound from the carpets in the corridors.
The ‘Paige’ concierge was a brilliant addition if I needed anything.
Comfy bed with pillows felt like I was sleeping on air.
The only thing missing was a coffee maker otherwise it would be perfect.
Odd reason given for rooms not having a coffee maker was that they have a downstairs restaurant where you can by coffee on the side, and it would take trade away from that. As far as I could see when I went there plenty of non hotel customers so what’s the problem?
Top marks (and well tipped) to the staff member who took my luggage back down when I left .
All in all an excellent experience

Thank you for sharing that sentiment and for noting how our team, especially, enriched your visit. My wife and I stayed at The Bradley for the first time this past weekend and it was without a doubt, an excellent hotel. Having stayed at hundreds of hotels around the world, The Bradley offers outstanding comfort and quality. The bed was extremely comfortable. Room decor was incredible with more than just the standard amenities. The thought behind the design and functionality was excellent and you won't need to listen to the AC cycling on and off, since it's always quietly on keeping the air fresh. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and really worked hard to make sure guests were comfortable. Like all businesses, the hotel is still not at full staff and many are working well beyond their job descriptions to make sure guests are happy. The main restaurant is still not fully open, but limited food service is available. Food options we had were excellent and with the quality coming from the chefs, I expect the restaurant to be fantastic. 'Birdies', the rooftop bar is really nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing, especially with a cocktail in hand. This will be a great hotel for couples or families visiting Fort Wayne or for those looking to hold private functions. The Bradley is centrally located in Fort Wayne and within walking distance to historic sites and other venues. I highly recommend The Bradley!
