My husband and I stayed here so we would be in the Chicago area to help a family member. I used my points for this stay and it worked out quite well for us. The room was very clean. I did notice the hallways were not very clean, particularly in the stairwells. I chalked this up to a lot of businesses having staff shortage due to covid. I also figured, the hotel expected most people to use the elevator. The staff were very friendly and nice. There was a grab and go breakfast that was just okay. It was a bottle of water and two cereal bars-- and a plastic cup of fruit cocktail. Lots of sugar! I've had some pretty good grab and go breakfasts since covid. Including hot breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee. This was a little disappointing... and it was not enough to help move someone so I had to get breakfast later. I don't think this hotel is bad - it needs a little work and fresh coffee in the morning. Although there was some in the room. So all good. I was pleased with the location, the room was super clean, despite being a long stay hotel. Also it was quiet considering it's a long stay hotel. It's fine and price is right considering Chicago area.…
Upon check in I was shocked at how ugly and run down my tiny room was. I had free points and I was pressed for time so I chose this location and I don't recommend it to anyone unless you are absolutely desperate. The decor is shabby, beaten up and all the furniture here is dated. The bed was hard and I didn't get a good night's rest because the mattress was so uncomfortable and the refrigerator was so loud. My room smelled like mildew and the air conditioning unit on the window had a horrible stench and was also extremely noisy. The windows here barely open and the sun is completely blocked because of the bad layout. I had requested a suite but this is more like an extended stay hotel where guests live here on a long-term basis because they are in between housing. The front desk clerk said there is a long waiting list for the larger suites because families have been living here since the pandemic. The tiny room I was in reminds me of a cheap, lower end motel 6 and I could smell smoke coming from downstairs from guests who smoke right outside the front doors to the property as late at 3 AM. This is the ugliest choice property I've ever had the misfortune of temporarily staying at. If aesthetic is important to you you will be as miserable as I was here.…
I have stayed in many other extended stay hotels , but this is One of the most affordable Extended Stay Hotels in the chicagoland area. The second thing is, you get a lot for what you're paying for. The atmosphere is quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are so comfortable and the Mario, the front desk staff was so helpful and professional and friendly. The General Manager was very professional and really tried her best to make sure that I had an amazing 3 night stay. I talked to her and could really tell that she cared about my overall stay and cared about the hotel and all of the guest that were staying there. One last thing, there are plenty of restaurants near and just right outside the door. However, the main thing I like is that my work place is in walking distance to the hotel . Hopefully, my next two books will be written in this hotel .…
