Detailed Reviews
My wife and I recently returned from an 18-hour international flight from Asia and needed to stay overnight near Chicago O’Hare Airport before flying home to Florida the next morning. The Sheraton Suites Chicago O’Hare turned out to be the perfect choice for us. Located just 10 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle service, it was both convenient and accessible.
The hotel itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were happy, energetic, and incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail. I will definitely choose this hotel again for any future stays near O’Hare Airport.

We found ourselves with unexpected flight difficulties leaving Chicago and I remembered a good experience at Sheraton Suites many years ago. Knowing this hotel is only one block from O’Hare’s new rental car center, I knew we wouldn’t have the hassle of waiting for the hotel shuttle. Instead it was easier to take the airport tram to the rental car center and walk 3 minutes to the hotel. It really was that easy (if you’re in relatively good physical shape and you don’t have too much luggage).
Since my last visit, this hotel appears to have undergone a major renovation. It was nice before but even nicer now. Because the Club Lounge is closed on the weekend, the check in agent offered me free breakfast and a $15 food credit with my Platinum Elite status. Unfortunately our flight in the morning was too early for breakfast but we did use the food credit in the restaurant for dinner and the food was good.
All rooms are two room suites with the bathroom and closet in the middle. It’s a thoughtful layout putting the bedroom in the back with a door in between. This insulates from hall and elevator noise. The beds were heavenly comfortable. We are usually comfortable at Sheratons around the world but this one was exceptional. I wish I could have taken the bed home.
The room also featured a coffee maker, robes, slippers, 2 TVs and a well-lit renovated bathroom. We had a very comfortable stay and good night sleep, exactly what we needed before day two attempting to get home.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
The suites rooms are large with a close-able door between sitting room and bed room. Sitting room has a sofa /pull out bed and desk and is huge. Small refrig is located outside the bedroom which is a nice touch because they are sometimes noisy.
Bedroom sheets and etc are first rate.
Exec lounge breakfast is excellent (11/2023), with good selection incl fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, saausage, cereal, yogurt, and a Starbucks coffee machine.
Pm offerings in exec lounge are hit and miss depending on the week. Eg, Bruschetta is great… and the warmed over pizza slices are only for the very young.
The rooms are kept at a very high level of clean. This is particularly distinctive compared to other top hotels in the post Covid era.
The restaurant/bar has live music a few weekday a week around dinner time which is a nice touch which can be heard throughout the hotel. The restaurant fare is workmanlike if a bit on the expensive side.
The hotel seems to cater to international airline aircrews, whose airlines are picky with regard to hotel quality in my opinion. A good sign.
The hotel is located two blocks North of the ORD rental car center which is located at the end of the line of the people mover. So during a blizzard if you loose patience with the pickup van, you have a speedy alternate route to the hotel.
There are few walkable restaurants near the hotel (Harry Carry’s, Panera, McD’s) and that is about it. Giordano’s will reliably deliver a fantastic deep dish pizza to the hotel.
Airplane noise has not been a factor for me, which I cannot say is true of a few hotels further North who are now directly underneath short final to the newish ORD runway 27R.
If you are sensitive to traffic noise, I would avoid rooms facing West onto Mannheim Rd as the traffic along that road is quite heavy most of the time. The other three directions are not problems.
I seek this hotel out if staying in Rosemont, IL. Highly Recommended.

Hmmm trying to understand the high reviews. We felt the room had a pervasive smell and when we encountered another issue with the room, the young, inexperienced, poorly trained staff did not resolve correctly (while the manager stood by disinterested). For breakfast, no menus are distributed (they want you to pay for the low quality breakfast buffet) but there apparently was real menu choices for breakfast available…again, the staff was not trained well and offered very little in terms of customer service. We have stayed at tons of Marriott Bonvoy properties over the years…will be skipping this one. Service and quality better even at most other locations.

Well, upon checking around 10pm after a very long day of work, my stay started with a room (916) that smelled so strong of urine that I had to go straight back down and request a different room. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant.
Once I got the new room (602), I noticed it only had half the furniture of the original room (e.g., nothing other than a desk and sofa in the living area) but I was so tired I went right to sleep.
Upon waking, I attempted to shower but the knob to switch the water from tub to shower was broken so I had to squat down in the tub and use my hands as cups to wash my body. That was humiliating. I tried to wash my hair and hit my head on the faucet. I have a feeling this room should not be rented out until some attention is paid to the broken shower and missing furniture. Again, room 602 - in case management would like to address this. I responded timely to the email requesting feedback on my stay, but never heard back. Maybe this review will get more attention.
When I went down to the front desk the young man Christian said he would let engineers know about the shower. But that was it. He probably needs some training on how to address these types of issues. There was no coffee available when I left around 530am. I really would have liked some coffee after that experience.
In light of the above I don’t think I would stay here again or advise others to do so.
Such a shame since the shuttle was timely and convenient. And the chat feature worked well prior to checkin. For the record, I am Titanium level with Marriott Bonvoy - I hope others are treated better.

I recognize your time is valuable and appreciate the feedback you have taken the time to provide. Maintaining a clean atmosphere within our guest rooms and common areas is important and I apologize that we did not fulfill that expectation during your visit. Your feedback has been shared with our housekeeping and engineering leaders to ensure this is an isolated incident. My hope is the next time you are in the area, you will give us another chance to provide the guest experience we strive to deliver.

This is a perfect stop-over stay at great value when travelling through O'hare Chicago. I have stayed a few times and it is consistent good value for money. The shuttle going every 30 minutes takes you to the hotell in app 10 minutes. The shuttle back might be full but soo far they always manage to solve that with an extra shuttle (I have no idea if they always do, but with us they have done it). The check in is smooth and they are of course very used to transit passengers with tight schedules. The restaurant/bar served a very good turkey sandwich with fries (American size) and a local IPA for 25 dollars, and we got a voucher for 15 upon arrival. The rooms are a bit worn but clean. There is a "living room" with a big window towards the inner patio that all rooms face, a middle section with a hallway and restroom and then a separate rather large bedroom with comfy beds. It is great value at 130 dollars compared to many of the surrounding hotels that were 220-310 the same day. Of course this fluctuates.

This trip was full of errands/task that had to be completed so I could bring together dancers. Anda at the Front Desk made life perfect. I had multiple reservations and she made it easy by grouping them and removing ALL stress. Best ever. When traveling from far away to do an event, there's so many things you have to do or check at times. So when someone from the front desk adjust things and help you move things around so you can be more time efficient; it's truly a blessing. Things like that make me excited, because I know when I come back to Chicago, I'll be taken care of. Every hotel needs a few Anda's; peace of mind is everything,

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and service at the Sheraton Suites. The suite is spacious, modern and well appointed. The bedding was comfortable. Check in was quick and professional and they quickly met our request for extra pillows.
The location is great. Easily accessible and extremely close to the airport. The airport shuttle was prompt and the driver courteous. I also like the location because we had been traveling a lot and didn’t necessarily want to eat in another hotel - we found Harry Cary’s Italian Steakhouse just a 3 minute walk away with no major streets to cross.
Everything was first rate. Could not have been happier with our stay. If you look at some of my other reviews you will see I am not quick to give compliments, so I was really impressed here. It’s everything you could ask from an airport hotel

My family and I came out to Chicago over two weeks ago to spend time with my brother who was suffering from cancer. We did not expect that we would be extending our stay for his wake and funeral.
One of my cousins “took the reins” on behalf of the family to work with one of the managers, Brandon, to ensure that all of the family had a room block at a reduced rate for our stay. The Sheraton O’Hare happily accommodated my immediate and extended family. All rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, easy to talk to, easy to work with, and most importantly, they were happy to serve. Breakfast and dinner services provided delicious food and prompt service.
I would like to note that we have a family member who has a form of dementia and sometimes has a habit of wandering out from the hotel room and down to the lobby in the early morning hours. We informed the front desk of the situation, provided them with a photo and the proper emergency contact information, and they kept an eye out to ensure that this family member of ours would remain safe within the hotel. One particular morning, I was approached by management who pointed out that they had seen this family member before I had come downstairs and gently guided that person to sit down in a chair so that family could be contacted. It is comforting to know that even in such a busy hotel, the staff is attentive to all of their customers.
Below are the names of many of the hotel staff that assisted us. On behalf of my family, our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the entire staff - including housekeeping, front desk, restaurant/bar staff, and management - for a job well done on making our stay at a difficult time in our lives, a comfortable stay. We will look forward to staying at the Sheraton O’Hare for our next visit to Chicago.

I had one of the best experience staying at this Sheraton location in Chicago. Being in the customer service business plus my job request from me to stay in different hotels around the US my experience here was very good.
This experience was elevated specially with the phenomenal customer service of the shuttle driver Mr Zeak, what a great person! After a great conversation during the ride MR Zeak walked with me to the reception and informed me about everything in the hotel and helped me to know more about the area and good told me about there services and restaurants .
Asked Mr Juan the receptionist to take care of me. Mr Juan was very accommodating, I requested a room In quiet area and he was very happy to help me with a big smile and great customer service.
After getting to my room I went down to pick up my Doordash order, I saw MR Zeak downstairs helping and talking to different customers even it wasn’t his main job , he was going above and beyond.
You can tell he like what he is doing and you can tell that customers and his coworkers loves him here!
I will be staying here any time I’m in Chicago and I will recommend this location to all my coworkers !
Thank you for the great experience :)

Hi,
It takes approximately 15 minutes however, based on the time of day and day of the week. It can take up to 25/30 minutes due to the amount of traffic at the O'Hare Airport.
Thank you.
