A place for those who love nature and wish to discover a real Vietnam that is left untouched by modernization. Mekong Lodge was built in typical housing architecture in Mekong Delta: bungalows with thatched roofs, complete with private terraces and gardens. A stay at Mekong Lodge to take a pause from busy life, to refresh soul with fresh air and pure nature, and to live like a local without compromising on comfort.

I was cycling the Mekong and had some reaction to the water. Looking for a rest stop I found this. I was very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful with my stomach dilemma. The staff fell in love with my bike and we enjoyed a lot of

If you’re looking for a luxurious lodge, this is not it. What you will get is an experience of a countryside and learning a different cultural side of Vietnam which is what I was looking for. I actually enjoyed the sounds of roosters because it’s not what I’m accustomed to. The

A 3 is too stingy, not quite a 4.. Let’s start with the positives; Thong, one of the guides, is awesome. I booked a one night stay and one day tour. This included pick up from HCM, 2.5 hour drive to Mekong Delta. Tour of various places and a boat ride down the back rivers. Got

An ideal place to relax and slow down, at the pace of the magnificent MeKong. The bungalows spread in a splendid tropical garden. The rooms are eco-friendly, simple but comfortable and really large, not to mention the bathroom. The food is good as usual in Vietnam and the

Beautiful view, beautiful swimming pool. Food is really good. We have had a villa with a private pool. It was more a bath than a pool.So you dont need to book for this room, the simple one are enough. We book tours with the hotel, it was really simple. Staff are really good.

How we get to the property from Ho Chi Minh ? Time and distance pls ?
Hi Sorry for late reply, this time of year don't get time on the computer very much. We found the lodge it self to be the best and cheapest to organise trnsport for you. We were a party of 4 and they charged us $80US each way for the car. Most other companians charged a per person rate and came to over $200US.

Don't know about June - since we were there on October, but it was rainy during our stay. For the bike ride we had a very light drizzle which did not affect the experience. Once we finished the bike ride in the afternoon, dark clouds were approaching - so our guide decided to head back to the lodge and postpone the rowing boat for the next morning, which worked out great. The pool is heated and the weather is hot even when there's rain - so lounging in the pool in the rain is a great option ;)

"The rooms near the river get more brise."
"Bring ear plugs no matter what hotel you decide to stay at, night life in the Mekong can be loud, boats, rosters and rain on tin roofs"
"rooms away from the river front are quieter"
"Get the Riverside rooms (with a great setting) but expect a little more noise from the boats"
"Away from nearby houses (noise level)"
