The Forest Camp is a mountain resort perfect for individual, couple, or group vacations. Just 20 Minutes from the Dumaguete City Airport, its a quick getaway from the hassle and buzzle of the city. We have cold spring pools, cottages for day use, rooms for overnight stay, function halls for seminars, and a restaurant for dining. The camp lives up to its name as it has open spaces perfect for mountaineers to pitch a tent for their rest from treks to the nearby Casaroro Falls, Filipino-American-Japanese Shrine, and Mount Talinis. For fun and recreation, we have a zipline, a climbing wall, a bike trail, and a skate bowl for the hip and the daring. (To be continued)

Kindly note this 3* review could easily become a 5* if the cons listed below are fixed. I hope this review finds the management of the place. The pros: - the set up is awesome! Many pools inter connected with smal water falls, 2 hanging bridges above the river and beautiful trees and plants everywhere. - a real river passing through the camp. - it's possible to visit it during day time without sleeping onsite. The entrance fee is very reasonable. - very suitable for children and families - the reception staff is very friendly and helpful. - the restaurant staff is very friendly and the food is good. - you can do kawa bat (I let you Google what it is) The cons: - you can only pay cash and you need to give a 1000php deposit. Payment by card are not possible. Also consider that the food isn't included so you better make sure you bring enough cash. - the check out is at 9am ...this is way too early! It should be 11 or 12 like any other places. - the last call at the restaurant is at 6pm ... Way too early. - it's not possible to rent a scooter which means you will be stuck there and considering that from 7pm the place is completely dead you better bring a good book to keep yourself busy. - the breakfasts are really nothing special.

For a blackout it's especially nice since it's almost all shaded and cool plus the multiple pools are very cool since they are spring fed. There are several places to have a packed lunch or order from the resto.

Paid entrance fee which was consumable for food and beverage. Known as a very popular activity leisure resort, it was a weekend yet there were hardly any guests. Reason was the prevailing typhoon. Took long time to wait for our food to arrive. Service was just fair at best. From what I see , nothing impresses me , even with a stable weather condition.

It is a nice resort in the middle of nature! The area is quite big and very nice to explore. The plants, trees and flowers around the area is really amazing! There are many pools around and it is filled with fresh mountain waters hence the water is quite cold. We just stayed there for the afternoon but enjoyed it too. It seems that they also offer other activities and services (e.g. massage and wellness). There are also rooms and cottages where you can stay for the night. The staff are nice. What I did not find good is that the restroom does not have soap to wash you hands. The staff let us wash our hands in their kitchen sink though.

Only went for a Day Trip for (Php 350 per person – with consumables) and it was indeed worth it. You can already access every spot, even the Hot Kawa Bath – just make sure you inform the reception for them to prepare it for you accordingly. Nature was enhanced at its finest here, every corner was picturesque and “instagramable”. Activities like wall climbing, zip line and horseback riding are available, too. Just a little downside with their Wifi, as we are informed that only in-house guest can have access with it. The place has poor signal reception! And the property’s WiFi could be a little more helpful for us to enjoy the camp even better. Some of the staffs are not that friendly, too. But, nevertheless, we still enjoyed our day trip – and wished to be back anytime soon.

Supposidly we're staying for 3 nights but only stayed for 1 night. Receptionist told us we won't get any refund but, we still decided to leave or else will get hungry. Food is always cold and not lots of choices. We went in town but still can't find a decent restaurant. The place is just good for a day out. You can bring your own food. To stay is not good, no comfy area to hung around.

me and my partner decided to book a room at forest camp and stay overnight. the place is cool and its very close to nature. one thing to suggest is that the rooms or even the "payag" type room must have privacy. People coming in and out in our "payag" and someone also went up stairs and our things are in there. you guys should be giving privacy protection to your guest. they went to your resort for relaxation not watch over there own things. we rented a room to keep our things safe however it was not that safe. security and privacy is important to your guest. hopefully you will change that rules of yours.

We spent many hours in The Forest Camp. We didn't stay overnight, just paid entrance 120 Pesos per person (or 350 with consumables) and brought some food and water but still wouldn't miss to order the buko halo-halo (served in a coconut) and the fresh lumpia (spring roll) with peanut sauce. Also a mango shake is highly recommended! Choose from many pools, beautiful flowing water, water slides, a zipline and generelly a beautiful landscape. Most pools are not deep. Being 180 cm I could stand in all but one of the pools there. The cool (dare I say cold) flowing water alone is more than worth it. You want to feel cold as a foreigner in the Philippines for once in your life? You found the right place. I find nothing more refreshing than these pools and we have been to many pools and resorts in the vicinity of Dumaguete. Usually it is possible to be in the shade in most of the pools since there are many trees. That also means some leaves in the water though. Yes, usually you sit on small plastic chairs at plastic tables with sheets that might have a few holes in them but it is a beautiful experience, being surrounded not by foreigners but locals, having fun in this beautiful "treesort". In the afternoon have your "off lotion" ready because there can be some mosquitos. You will have to step over some rocks to get into and out of the pools so it might not be the preferred place for handicapped people. Written by the european husband of a Filipina who usually feels too warm in the Philippines.

i think the place is nice if the waters aint murky. I also suggest placing strainers from where water is coming from to avoid leaves, and other stuffs from going into the pool areas. If you want to cool off and dont mind the mud then this is a good place to go
