Loved my stay!!! I had to attend a course in January 2020. The weather was questionable so I elected to stay at a Hilton with a restaurant/bar just in case which turned out to be a wise choice!
I arrived on a red-eye and the front desk was super gracious and said there was a room available and that I could check in early! All the front desk personnel were so kind and helpful during the entire stay. I also loved that they had the pantry to buy little goodies/snacks throughout the stay. I stayed for 3 days and loved the room. I am an admitted hygiene freak and absolutely LOVED the extremely clean room and bathroom!!! I slept very comfortably and the accomodations were perfect. The decision to stay at this Hilton proved to be perfect as we basically got snowed in on Saturday night. I had a lovely meal and drinks at the restaurant/bar. Since I was travelling by myself this trip, I was happy to watch some good football during my meal and watch the bartender who was very skilled servicing special requests from various patrons with kindness. Thank you to all the staff(cleaning staff, front desk, and bartender) for making my weekend trip so wonderful!!!

Nice, comfortable and clean place. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stay here often throughout the year when in town to visit our family (who have a very tiny home, so no guests fit there). I do however, have one BIG suggestion: this cabinet shown in the photos is empty and sitting directly across from the elevators in the lobby. It should stocked with spare toilet paper and facial tissue so guests can access these supplies without needing to have front desk staff "hand them over the counter". (Front desk could still control the use, but simply direct folks back to this cabinet upon the request being voiced.) This would be a huge benefit, costs nothing, and is very appropriate in this era of only "on request" room housekeeping service...

Continental breakfast was NOT included in the cost of the room. Charged $10 per guest for what would be free at other properties!!! Paid a healthy fee to stay at the property and then charged me to park at their property. I could see charging people to park at their property if they weren’t renting!!!

Hilton Garden Inn does have some packages that do include breakfast in the rate but the standard rate at all Hilton Garden Inn's has not included breakfast for many years. Almost all hotels in the O'Hare market charge for parking, we have made a commitment to be one of the lowest. While some area hotels charge $30 per night per vehicle, the hotel charges $18 per night. This Hilton Garden Inn provides a pleasant short stay as an airport hotel, offering airport shuttle services 24/7. The hotel is reasonably well renovated and the room size is standard and average. It is located in an area about 10 mins drive from ORD, but there is not any shop within 15 mins of walking distance. When we booked this hotel, we did not check the details thinking that breakfast would be included but it actually costs some $16 more.

You can’t beat the proximity to Ohare airport. The rooms are clean and the front desk staff friendly. However, the meal I had was the worst in any of the many HGI I have stayed. I should have expected non authentic Gumbo. But a brisket cheese sandwich should have had more than 5 tiny pieces of meat for 15. I heard other complaints from the other guests.

The room itself was great, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy check in and shuttle was convenient. The continental breakfast was terrible! You had a choice of either a $10.00 or $15.00 breakfast. The continental breakfast was $10.00 and we even got it free for being gold members. It would not have been worth $20.00!! The coffee was way too strong and bitter! The eggs and potatoes were lukewarm. It was all just nasty in my opinion. I would recommend the stay but don’t pay to eat the breakfast.

I drove 10 minutes from ORD airport and pulled through gated outdoor parking, this cost me $18 per night, and that's surprising because the hotel is not in the city and there are so much open space around to pull this one. I felt no acknowledgement of HH members, it's like who cares. Breakfast is not included, make sure this is communicated to you now. Rooms clean and beds are comfy. Big casino is next door, with so much free parking ; ) It's got pool, gym, and coins 1washer, 1dryer . C U Around.

It was a difficult decision for us to start charging for parking seven years ago, but one we had to make for a variety of reasons. You will find that the majority of hotels in the immediate O'Hare area charge for parking with rates ranging from $20 - $30 a day and our intent is to stay lower than that range. As a brand, Hilton Garden Inn has always charged for breakfast. We do have some overnight packages that do include breakfast and parking at a discounted rate. Price isn’t worth it. Food was stale in the morning (don’t pay extra for continental breakfast). Room was ok. I slept fine. They told me shuttle would be available 24/7 to/from casino and it was not. Be prepared to walk (not far from hotel, but when you’re wearing heels, it made it hard on the soles...know what I mean?)

Our restaurant prepares food fresh daily with local ingredients. Our shuttle service to and from the Casino that is next door is subject to availability. Our shuttle that travels to and from O'Hare Airport does run 24 hours a day, and departs the hotel every half hour and drives past the casino on the way to and from the airport. The hotel has several rooms that have connecting doors. The rooms that connect have one king bed in one room, and two queen beds in the other room. These rooms can be requested, but not guaranteed.
There are more places to choose from in the Des Plaines area.
