Hotel is ideally located for exploring this city. Hotel is old but full of character. Rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. There is a small restaurant for breakfast which offers a reasonable range of food. The checkin staff, bar staff and breakfast staff were all very friendly and helpful. The guy serving breakfast even recommended somewhere to eat for dinner. We would definitely recommend staying there.

The hotel was located in a convenient location adjacent to the Magnificent Mile. It is an older hotel but kept clean although the carpets could use replacing. Staff was friendly and there is a bar and restaurant at the entrance which we did not frequent. Chicago is a great town.

Stay here! Price right! Close to everything, steps from the main drag..MMile, just off the beaten path, quiet, private too! Door man amazing! maps didn't take us right to the hotel. Its right across from the Drake. The parking garage is across the street! You may miss it..Bigger cars cost more..didn't know...Beautiful hotel, safe and friendly!! Would 100% stay here again! I do wish they had some sort of a discount for hotel guests, vouchers for the restaurants-a little pricey, we didn't go there!! Wonderful place!

Do yourself a favor and save your money. I checked in around 4:30am on Oct. 13 and was fully checked out by 7:30am. Someone tried opening my door three times in a row, but since I had the latch on they were unsuccessful. Not only did they try opening my door, but what woke me up was them SLAMMING the door open and it catching on the latch every time. I immediately packed up my belongings and checked out. On my way down to the front desk I happened to run into the housekeeping ladies and asked if they had tried opening my door by chance, and they said no, because they just got on to my floor. Once I got to the front desk I told the young woman checking me out why I was checking out so soon and her response was "Who was trying to get into your room?" and then took my key without further questions or without trying to help in any way. Frustrated because I slept maybe 2 hours and was feeling unsafe I left and tried speaking to the hotel manager afterwards. After SEVERAL attempts it took about a week and a half for the hotel manager to call me back and tell me that he thinks I may have left the door open on accident. However, he agreed to check the security tapes. Here we are a little over 3 weeks later, after SEVERAL attempts and messages I've only received one call from Gabino, the hotel manager, and no real answers or help. If you are a solo traveler, especially a woman, this place is not safe. Do not stay there.

I’m glad I chose the Millennium Knickerbocker for my first stay in Chicago. The property gives a vintage feel upon entering the lobby, but the rooms add a taste of a modern style that I really like. I requested an early check-in and the front desk staff was happy to accommodate my request. I was impressed with the room’s size and the luxuriousness of the bathroom. I'm not sure why some hotels insist on showers without doors because the water always causes a mess on the floor. I had no issues with my morning shower but it took awhile for the water to heat up at nighttime. I sat for breakfast at the restaurant and the hostess/cashier was very pleasant, as well as Andre, who was my waiter. I ordered steaks and eggs that were cooked properly and tasted delicious. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with my visit to the Millennium Knickerbocker. The staff and service is enough to welcome me back at anytime.

I came here to Chicago for my business trip and stayed at Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel. I had an espresso martini with Licor 43. That was the best I ever tested. You should try it at the bar! they’re very good at cocktails. The front desk service is the best! The only thing I can say negatively is the elevator needs to be updated. But overall, I love it and will come back! Thank you 🙏
