I can’t say enough good things about my stay at the Milleniun Knickebocker Hotel . It was 5 star as far as I’m concerned . The room was very clean and comfortable . The staff from check in to bartender to waiter was excellent ....More
I've stayed here a few times now. While it's not as good as some places in the city, it's a decent value. The staff was courteous and helpful. Our room was clean, well kept and relatively quiet.

Super nice doormen. Great location, very safe area. The rooms are small and could use some updating. But I would certainly stay here again. The bar has a great selection of drinks, one night they even had someone playing the piano, which was nice.

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as
the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Depending on the route, it may take anywhere between 15 and 25 minutes during regular traffic. As others have already noted, there is to be extra expected transit time during game days. The Forest Park stop on the Blue Line of the "El" Train System can take you to less than a half mile of the United Center.
