Stayed for 2 nights in January 2023. This hotel has a phenomenal location to the Riverwalk as well as many attractions in the downtown Chicago area. I was able to get an extremely affordable rate by shopping around and price matching back with Hilton. Process was quick and easy! The room itself was on the smaller side than what I'm used to, and didn't really have a view at all...not a big deal. The bed and pillows were not the greatest and the bed squeaked every move I made. A little annoying, but got used to it. Heater worked wonderfully (definitely needed in winter temps!), Water pressure in the shower and sink were adequate, cleanliness of the room was as expected. The fridge and microwave worked well also. No free breakfast, but if you are Gold+ you can opt for breakfast in lieu of points. I took the points, cannot comment on the dining facility. Did not have a car, so cannot comment on parking arrangements either. Overall, I would stay here again for the phenomenal location and terrific price. Bed/pillow comfiness could be improved, particularly the squeaking from movement. Otherwise, great!…
We’ve stayed in other hotels in Chicago but this boutique style hotel could not have had a better location. Walking distance to all the main attractions, fabulous shopping and close to so many fantastic restaurants. Rooms are really clean and staff was friendly and gave great service. We would definitely stay here again and we’ve already recommended it to our friends.
We enjoyed a great stay at this Hilton property, mostly down to the top notch location. The check-in process was friendly and simple, the room was again simple (if a little outdated) but what really made this hotel was its bang on location. You're close to everything in central Chicago - a city that we loved, and this hotel's positioning played a major part in that. There's really not much more to add. If you want to be within walking distance of central Chicago at a low price and you don't mind slightly rustic rooms, this has you covered.
Wonderful hotel and service. Right downtown in a perfect location. Enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. I would stay again. I loved how easy it was to get around and how I could walk every where.
Like most Hilton properties, the service was impeccable. The staff here is friendly and very attentive. Everyone was always smiling and asking if we needed anything. Rooms are relatively small but not cramped and they are very, very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are high quality. Noise level is very low--we were right over the street and never heard much noise. Best thing is the location. The CTA line at State/Lake is just a couple blocks away and from Midway the Orange line takes you right there or you can connect to other lines. Being 1/2 block off Michigan Ave the attractions of that area are all within walking distance--Chicago Art Institute is maybe a 15 minute walk and the restaurants in the area are all quite good and easy to get to as well. Basically, that is really what you're paying for--the location. Would definitely stay here again.…
I stayed here for 4 nights for the Chicago marathon and it was perfect. Central location, close to the river, close to the train connections for the airport, around 15-20mins walk to the start/finish area of the marathon. The room was very spacious and comfortable, a good sized fridge, a good coffee machine. A lovely big shower in the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. A slightly side view towards the river. A very quiet room considering the central location. The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast selection. I'm vegan and there were no vegan options at all from the cooked menu, I ate just toast and fruit my whole stay, disappointing. I think the cooked options could be a lot better and cater to all tastes not just meat and eggs.
We had a 3 night stay here. It’s a fantastic downtown location, so close to so many attractions. I had requested on booking for a room on a high floor but unfortunately we were given one on the lower floors. The view from the room looked out onto a car park. We both thought with the high rise buildings there wasn’t much natural light and with dark wooden furniture and a dark green wall it made the room feel oppressive. The room had comfy beds, decent shower pressure and WiFi. Could have benefited from larger towels and better quality toilet roll. Cleaned to a high standard. Reception staff were helpful in providing us with some recommendations for breakfast. We went to ‘Land and Lake’ as well as ‘Wild Berry’. Both excellent options and only a couple of minutes to/from hotel.
Great location. We were able to walk to a lot of places easily. Continental breakfast was perfect. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. Housekeeping was great - plenty of clean towels and toiletries provided. Wonderful stay for us.
I would recommend this hotel when staying in downtown Chicago. The location is excellent. They don’t have wonderful views since they’re a tall buildings on either side of the hotel but still would recommend this hotel to anyone. The service is great. Their employees were very helpful kind and patient. I was thinking numerous times for my status with Hilton. The hotel is clean from the lobby to the rooms. The fitness center is a bit small and in the basement but still gets the job done. And if you prefer to run outside they are very close to Lakeshore Drive where you can run for miles. Joshua, Charles and Jazz all have great customer service. Well I was trying to get a Lyft ride Joshua asked if I preferred to save some money to the airport and take a taxi who he was going to call for me. That’s a great connection that is half the cost of getting to midway airport. …
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is an easy walk to the Riverwalk, Magnificent mile and Millennium Park. Staff were friendly , rooms clean and spacious. Would stay here again next time we are back in Chicago
