It's number 1 for a reason, everything is up to an excellent standard. We saw so much wildlife just in the garden, land lizards, giant squirrels, kingfishers, bea eater birds, that's without going to the National Park. The owner can sort out a fantastic tour...More
Like others we read the reviews before booking. Not disappointed. Helpful host Upul, well equipped comfortable room, funky bathroom, wifi and delicious meal cooked by the owners Mum.
We made sure we booked our National park safari with Usup and we had a fantastic trip.

We had a similar issue! We visited the elephant sanctuary for the evening feeding - here humans observe from a smart distance and elephants are not 'performing'. The safari will likely last until at least 10:00 however, if you are driving (or being driven) having the car very near the entrance to the park would save you at least 30 minutes. For us, the safari was a highlight of our visit and it was great to be away from most of the other safari jeeps (who do shorter trips and tend to congregate in the same few areas). Enjoy!
