We were with a group of the Imserso, so we can't have a say in the free market prices. Apart from the thermal spring, the main attraction of the spa is the historic building. It is perfectly in accordance with the original project that hangs at the entrance of the dining room. There is luxury of the happy twenties (of the twentieth century) in the ballroom, the revolving door of entrance, access to the thermal spring..). The flip side of the coin is that the maintenance of a hundred-year-old building that has suffered a civil war is a nightmare. Thus, the pine-tea floorboards creak, some windows are doomed, plugs are missing on the bedside tables... Put on the scales, the charm wins by beating. It is the same with the location, somewhat remote, half an hour from Reinosa by car by good road. There is a pharmacy in Soncillo and a petrol station in Cilleruelo de Bezana. In return, you can access (with your own vehicle) multiple points of interest on the two banks of the Ebro reservoir (Ornithological Center, Hermitage of the Snows, Juliobriga deposit, sanctuary of Montes Claros, Mount Hijedo, old church of Las Rozas, Arija beach...). On the side of the Merindades, Ojo Guareña and Espinosa de los Monteros. The hotel itself provides information from the surrounding area and the Reservoir Interpretation Centre in the village of Corconte is an excellent starting point. It is a real spa, not a spa to relax (at least with the Imserso); you spend a medical visit when you enter and are attended by qualified staff. All the staff, also the hospitality staff, are friendly and effective. High level of cleanliness. As usual in organized groups, lunches and dinners are at fixed times and in fixed positions; dishes are chosen from one day to the next. The food is homemade, with some local dishes. Dessert is monotonous. Breakfast stands out for being served in the stone gallery overlooking the reservoir. The buffet is varied, with better than average juice and freshly baked bread and pastries.

I loved the decadent atmosphere that surrounds everything.. Building from 1883 made of stone with some furniture from the period. The kitchen, reception and cafeteria staff were lovely… The girls at the spa are not friendly at all. Spacious rooms but they need renovation and a lot of insulation since the humidity and its characteristic smell are permanent. The small spa but with good temperature.

It is an old building from 1883 with its beauty for being so old but in need of urgent renovations. The rooms respect the age of their furniture but having bathtubs is dangerous because they slip. Simple food with poor portions. Little variation in fruit. Spa does not work the back jets of the pool and there is a steep ramp to access which is very uncomfortable. The floors also need a coat of varnish and the façade needs a refresher. If they tear down the ruins in front and renovate the annex building, the better

We stayed one night at the hotel, on the night of August 23, we reserved 3 rooms for two couples and one person. I can't talk about the food, why we didn't have breakfast there if I liked it, but what we thought was very expensive was that you can't enter the pool without paying €10 or so for half an hour and the treatments were very expensive, it was incredibly hot. and you couldn't enjoy the pool. The day before we had been to a hotel with a spa circuit, 1 hour was €16 for hotel guests and €20 for Encantados. The rooms have little light, no air conditioning, few outlets, the windows have no mosquito nets, meaning the mosquitoes attack you. We had to ask for a fly to spray the rooms since at night you have to open the windows, it needs to be renovated. It should have access to the pool for clients who do not want treatments or circuits, just cool off in the heat, in my opinion it needs to be renovated.

Wonderful stay in this spa where you can breathe history. As you enter it seems that you are transported to another era. We stayed on March 9, 2024. The reception staff is very friendly and professional. In fact, we had a problem because the guests in the room upstairs on the second floor with 2 children kept making noise. Children screaming and jumping that made the entire room shake, non-stop. The receptionist changed our room and made sure we could rest. A great detail. The restaurant staff, both at dinner and breakfast, were very friendly and attentive. Good dinner and good breakfast. Very large, clean and warm rooms. Comfortable beds. The Spa is located in a very quiet and beautiful natural environment. Good value for money and good atmosphere.

We went on a trip through IMSERSO. Phenomenally cared for, thanks to the cafeteria team, reception, floors, and of course Íñigo for his massages. Warm rooms and well-prepared dishes with full board, but yes, you have to eat and dine quickly because they are very rushed with the catering issue. Large area to walk 20 minutes walk from the town of Corconte. Experience to repeat

We arrived by chance, on a rainy day in the middle of July. The place surprised us from the beginning. The friendliness of all the hotel workers deserves a 10. The building is picturesque and monumental (very well maintained), it retains that air from the beginning of the century, which is part of its charm. The beautiful rooms and hallways transport you back in time. The huge rooms correspond to the most renovated part of the hotel. Very comfortable 2x2 bed, huge bathroom, wooden floors...all in keeping with the building. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which has a very pleasant menu, although it is not perfect. The breakfast also deserves a note, as does the bar service. Ultimately we enjoyed our stay. We think that the quality-price ratio is exceptional and we already want to return. It is not a modern hotel, it is sleeping in a building with a lot of history, but very well preserved and very comfortable. In short, we liked it a lot!!!

Very friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Correct installations. Correct environment. Breakfast could be improved. Very good lunch and dinner. All types of thermal treatments, massages, etc. The building and its decoration make you travel to the time of our ancestors, everything is perfect.

The site is charming and retains the spirit of spas of another era. Huge, clean rooms, spa services and massage highly recommended. Great breakfast overlooking the reservoir and delicious churros. Recommended.
