Atlantis Inn.....A very tastily done property at Tambaram, Chennai. Spacious rooms, nicely done bathroom, clean linens, courteous and helpful staff - .....and all these at a very reasonable tariff. So if you are on a budget and not particularly hung up about being in central Chennai or CBD, look no further.

It is a good hotel near Chennai Airport. Locality is calm and peaceful. Good food options for north Indian and south Indian exist nearby, as Adyar Ananda Bhavan is walking distance only. Hotel is new and restaurant is still renovation. Staff is cooperative . Shortly changing name as well.

You can book this hotel and pay the advance, but the day of arrival he will call and give some excuse and then we have to wait to check in or look for another hotel. It has happened not once but 3 times, till we finally went for another hotel nearby. They promise breakfast when u pay the advance and on the day of check in then this is not working-since they have revised the rate and there is no prior notification or communication. Always at the last moment you never know if the rooms are available or not. A lot of drunk people in the hotel making noise. Drivers have no rest rooms.

A really beautiful hotel experience this was. I was initially nervous where to book in this part of Chennai and Tambaram area. I can tell you confidently Atlantis Inn (This name will no longer be used. The name will be changed, as the management is working on it) is an amazing place. I loved my stay. It's safe. Comfortable beds. A/C service was included. There was TV, there was WiFi, there was room cleaning service (included, but a tip could be given for the cleaner) There was laundry service (extra cash needed to be given) The managers and cleaners - Rajesh, Parthiben, Jalil, Vinod, Nisha, Ansari, Jabraj, and Manav are the ones I remember who in this one week of stay interacted and communicated with me. All were super kind and helpful. Some things to improve, such as the in built restaurant and food service (which I believe they are working on..) and a waiver (Rs 500) for 1 guest for a room when the tenant is already paying for the room that includes 2 beds.
Other than that, I can't seem to find anything negative. It all looked positive. Hope they continue to be a good place for others too. Would highly recommend it to anyone coming for a visit to Chennai for staying.

This is not a boutique hotel, but fairly good for business trips or sight seeing holiday. the rooms are cleanly made, sufficiently furnished, wash room is clean. The linen is super white, and towels are again clean. located at a distance of 20 mnts from airport. (friday evening traffic in tambram can be excessive and may keep you held up for long.) The restaurant is a small one. But enough for a south indian meal. The best part is the courteous behavior of all the hotel staff, ever ready to help. Had a nice and comfortable stay.
