A group of old Army Rangers stayed there for three nights, and it was terrific. Rooms were clean and quiet, although we were only there to sleep. The lack of meeting space was the only draw back. Staff was friendly and easy and it was a most pleasant stay.
We got totally bait & switched by Quality Inn Dahlonega, GA Friday night 4/22/22. My son and I decided to get a room in Dahlonega at 11:30 p.m. on Friday night before hiking the Appalachian trail based on $66, $79 rooms advertised on the web. First 2 places we stopped had no vacancies, and Quality Inn said they had 1 room left at $178....and the parking lot was not full(no busses either). Coffee was hot in the morning but water for hot chocolate was not, and waffle mix dispenser was clogged....tiny little breakfast room too.
My wife and I spent three days here exploring Dahlonega and the surrounding area and stayed at the Quality Inn. The location was very good as it was close to the center of town. The morning breakfast was pretty good as well. The wifi was high speed. Recommend getting a room in the rear of the building as it is very quiet. Recommend making reservations early as it was completely booked while we were there. If we travel to Dahlonega again, we will stay there.
I have been staying at this hotel for over 120 nights this year. I have many options to choose from but I ALWAYS choose the Quality Inn, Dahlonega. My room is always kept clean, Michael and his staff are friendly, courteous, and always attentive to my needs. Michaels team always sets me up for the same room each week and if I have had and issue, (only one) it was immediately handled. I am on a long term assignment and have not found suitable housing in this college town. That being said, I will always stay with Michael and his Team at the Quality Inn in Dahlonega, until such time I find suitable long term housing. Thank Michael for all you and your team do to take care of me.
They shampooed all carpet in all rooms and failed to tell us That evening they were so wet and the bathroom floor was slick We had a handicap lady with us and was so afraid she would fall Then at 545 am the construction workers were using a chainsaw outside our window The worst place Don’t stay here unless you have to
