We had dinner here this past Saturday evening and also stayed in one of the rooms in the west wing building. During our dinner, they ran our of sake and were unable to make any of the mixed drinks on the menu. They claimed that our next round (of beer/wine) would be free of charge. However, once the bill came they only removed 1 drink from the bill instead of 2. The salmon and beef tenderloin were both overcooked (ordered medium, came well done). Once we got settled into our room and went to sleep we were awakened around 1230 AM to the sound of a person in the neighboring room snoring. The walls were so thin you could hear it as if they were in the same room. We tossed for a bit in hopes that it would subside. However after roughly 20 minutes we decided to head home. We contacted the resort the folowing morning and were told that we should have brought this to their attention that night so that they could move us to another room. We reminded them that they do not answer the phone during normal business hours, nor do they have a 24/7 office/desk, so what made us think we would get a response during the middle of the night. They offered us a 10% discount on a future stay. That will not suffice. There are many areas for improvement here and currently much better options in the Dahlonega area for quality food and lodging.

This was the perfect little romantic getaway in North Georgia. The staff was lovely and the cabins were perfect! The view was stunning. This location is nestled between Dahlonega and Cleveland. We will be coming back!

A friend and I visited Dahlonega to celebrate her birthday. Our stay at Dohlonega resort and vineyard was wonderful. The food was superb! Everyone was amazingly nice & helpful. Charlie Ann, I believe she is the property manager, helped plan our outings for the day. She was the absolute best. I highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

We stayed for an overnight so we could visit the town of Dahlonega. This hotel has many hidden charges that aren't seen until after booking and receiving a non-refundable reservation. I also had to wait two hours to receive my room number and access code to enter the room because the contact person said that the room needed to be prepared. This is a resort so I was expecting a place to be available for gathering and to find a place to have food and beverages when we arrived. These amenities are only offered from 9-5 pm, however. The Keurig machine in the room was stocked with plenty of coffee offerings and cups, but the machine was dusty and could not be used. We were provided a Villa number two hours after booking, but we did not realize it involved climbing up stairs. There was only one chair in the room, no table or bench for getting ready. The tub had no stopper. We called to request help, but they just said they'd make a note of it. So there was not much to do but sleep and find amenities elsewhere in the morning since our travel plans for the next day began early before the 9 am opportunity to have something from the dining room. I did not find anything very charming about the room. The carpet was outdated and worn with spill stains. I know that this might be charming because of the view and the winery on a better day without rain and if we were staying for a longer time. I do not think it is right to charge an extra nightly fee for the winery when we did not utilize this feature. I loved our stay in Dahlonega and hope to find a better place to stay next time.
