My husband and I were in Tallahassee for our son's wedding and booked the entire inn for a long weekend. We cannot thank Anne and Kate enough for making our time there a fantastic experience. The Park Avenue Inn is a warm and friendly historic home. The location is convenient, the breakfasts delicious and the atmosphere relaxed...but our favorite moments were being able to enjoy family time between wedding events, late night fire pit conversations and our talks with Anne. We love this place.

Absolutely fabulous in every way! My husband and I live in Tallahassee and planned a staycation at the Park Avenue Inn. We were delighted with this gem in our very own city/backyard. Breakfast each morning was delicious and conversation was engaging. Spacious, well appointed, inviting, warm and cozy! We can't wait to return.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast on a quick trip to Tallahassee. We loved all of the beautiful antique furniture in the home. We also enjoyed learning the history of the house over a delicious breakfast! The owner was so kind and welcoming and recommended some great places to eat and visit. We can’t wait to visit again!

This is the third time my spouse and I have stayed here. The value for money, accomadation, and service remain top class. Breakfast is superior, freshly made and accomadations made for vegetarians and other specific needs without a problem. Exellent location just 5-10 mins drive from the campus accomodations. Plan in advance and stay here instead of a local hotel, you won't be disappointed!

The location is ideal with FSU a mile away, and the capitol’s sights within.5 miles. This place was so homey. In addition to the lovely breakfast was the company or the menagerie of different people from different backgrounds and places. We talked, learned the history of the inn, and some old Tallahassee gossip, too! It was a great story and we were all entranced, including my teen son. We were charmed by the quaintness and the touches of beautiful furnishings and graceful art on the walls. I was so relaxed in this atmosphere! Thankful for our wonderful expression and I hope we visit once a college decision is made! Thanks to Anne and to Kate. I can’t wait to visit again! They allowed me to read in the sun room, as it was free! I LOVE that room and took inspirational pictures for my next home reno!!!!

We stayed at the inn overnight after attending a Florida State basketball game. It was the perfect location for walking to the game. There were nice sidewalks to take us anywhere we wanted to go. The overnight experience at the beautiful and immaculate Inn was very nice, comfortable bed, spacious room and bath (stayed in the Magnolia room). The breakfast was delicious fresh fruit and frittatas, with an overview of the Inn’s history presented by a lovely lady who was a long time resident in the house (the house had been in her family for years). I would highly recommend for your visit to Tallahassee.

If you enjoy staying in historic properties, this is your place. It’s a well-kept house in a lovely neighborhood lined with oak trees. We stayed in the Bird’s Eye Maple Room - a large, quiet, well-appointed room, with a very comfortable (and exceedingly high) bed. Communal breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the house. We were able to park in front of the property at a metered space, which was free over the weekend. Delightful time in a beautiful inn!

What an absolute gem of a place. We booked the entire inn for my daughters wedding for family to be together. Rooms, breakfast, hospitality and charm were all amazing. Kate made us feel at home the entire time. Rooms were ideal for the family. Access to outside to entertain friends and family during the week with patio and fire pit was amazing. And proximity to everything wedding related and other hotels was ideal.

After reading all the excellent reviews, I decided to spend a night at the Park Avenue Inn. I ended up being SO disappointed. The bathroom was not in my room, and the innkeepers were not on-site. On the web page, it says Innkeeper available 24/7 and private bathroom IN each unit. When I arrived, the front door was locked. After a few minutes, a woman appeared, she handed me an envelope with the keys, said she had to leave to go to work, pointed out the three designated parking spots on the street, told me my room was upstairs and left. I soon realized I was alone in the house. I had booked the May room, and I was shocked to discover the bathroom was across the hall. I did not bring a robe, and one was not provided. I called the phone number on the front door, and Kate answered, she offered to let me move to a different room, but first, I needed to look at the other rooms to see if they were clean. Unfortunately, all were dirty, so I was unable to switch. The other guests arrived, wondering where to park, questions, etc., I let them in, pointed out the street parking, handed them the keys from the mailbox, and indicated where their room was. They were quite surprised to find out I was not the Innkeeper, but another guest. All that transpired was uncomfortable and upsetting. Also, there is a surcharge of 2-3% when using your credit card. A previous guest wrote, “Transparency in creating expectations make for happier guests.” Agreed! I

The perfect inn! Beautiful, intimate, elegant and very welcoming. The inn keeper, Kate, and her assistant, Anne, told us “we want you to feel at home” and from the very start, we absolutely did! The rooms are beautifully decorated, each unique and distinct. The breakfast was a delicious meal served in the elegant dining room or the lovely dining table in the giant, warm kitchen. There are inviting porches on the front and the back of the inn. We especially enjoyed sitting and visiting and drinking coffee each morning in the rockers on the screened back porch. My daughters and I were visiting Tallahassee for a family wedding. We stayed in the May Oak Suite, which was wonderful. We hosted a luncheon that was in the style of an English Tea for the bride and her bridesmaids on Friday of our stay, which was absolutely superb. All the food was fabulous and the presentation was five stars! The next day the bride and her maids got dressed in the Sycamore Suite, a romantic setting with a beautiful private solarium that has lots of places to sit, bright, lovely sunlight and beautiful views of the large oak trees native to Tallahassee. I served the ladies a casual lunch downstairs in the dining room and they totally enjoyed themselves on the very special day! Kate and Anne were so helpful with everything. I cannot say enough about how accommodating they were! Our wedding weekend turned out perfectly in great part due to the Park Avenue Inn and Kate and Anne. The Park Avenue Inn is a perfect place to visit! The location is wonderful – a short drive to anywhere you want to go in Tallahassee. We loved our stay and will be back!
