Please read the reviews before you book a stay. Unfortunately, I didn't. Every negative comment you read in the reviews is true, and I can add more. When we checked in for our two-night stay, the first thing I did after entering our room was to switch on the reading light hanging near a comfortable chair. The light did not work. The desk clerk came in to replace the light bulb only to find that the reading light had never been wired for use. The in-room coffee maker did not work, so I went back to the lobby for coffee which, of course, was cold. I took the coffee to the room to heat it in the microwave. I opened the door and began to set the cup on the glass plate when I realized that the microwave had already begun working before I closed the door. Yikes! The ice machine in the hallway worked fine, but the tray covering the drain was missing.
One of the positives of the room was that it was quiet. The night clerk, who was very nice and patient with us, had assured us that it would be quiet. Unfortunately for the hotel, it appeared that her replacement was being trained the next day.
We expect more of Holiday Inn Express and don't know why this Stuart location has been allowed to continue to operate. Reviews have been negative for years.

If you don't believe in Covid, if you feel that it is all a hoax, then this is the hotel to stay in. No masks on guests anywhere, no staff masked (except 1 housekeeper), no sanitizer stations, no barrier between you and staff at check-in, no sanitizing wipes in the room, no signs about social distancing, no elevator limits on people, no sign at check-in or on the front entrance about wearing a mask in public spaces it's like there is no pandemic in the highest case state in the country. I have stayed at over a half dozen IHG properties (including Miami) in the last few months, and all have had everything I described above. When I asked the front desk about why they aren't in masks, I was told we don't have to be as we were vaccinated. He said, "we should have sanitizing stations, but we don't." So, if you don't care about Covid, the positive is the room was genuinely nice and clean and the staff although taking NO covid precautions, were also very friendly. It was the first time this year that I traveled to an IHG property and felt unsafe. I even for the 1st time in my 20 years as an IHG member, called customer service, but after being on hold for 20 minutes, hung up. If they don't make changes here, I won't be back until the pandemic is over.

I am an IHG Diamond Elite/Ambassador member and was treated poorly here. I called to see if I could check in early and was barked at and hung up on. When I arrived thinking it was a misunderstanding I was checked in but told to leave the property and return at 3:30. So I sat in the parking lot in Florida in July for 40 minutes. I was also questioned about why I was staying there when I live in town. The hallways on the upper floors were sweltering hit and smelled, At exactly 11 am on check out time my room had a knock and I was being told to leave. I told her I was almost done and she had a manager come up. They definitely are not in the hospitality industry. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot when I left, and one when I checked in, so it wasn’t that they are overwhelmed. I’m glad I’m not the only reviewer that saw problems here. They really need to get their act together.

Checked in after midnight. Instead of a sleepy night clerk, the person at the desk was wide awake, professional, and helpful. Room was clean and hot water was hot. Everyone was nice, even the landscaping crew letting me know they were going to run leaf blowers when they saw me outside talking on the phone. Parking well lit.

Electric vehicle charging stations are installed at this hotel. If you are an electric vehicle charging client, you are not allowed inside the hotel. Really? Not even for a drink of water or a bathroom break. Sad. Wish I had rented a Tesla. Tesla always seems to install at locations that invite electric vehicle charing to the venue.

A very disappointing experience. Checked in at 1 a.m., and was greeted by the representative but not recognized a Gold Member(Not a big deal). Was told breakfast was at 7 am, went down for breakfast at 7 am but lights were still off (Not a big deal) as I only wanted a coffee. Walked around the lobby and saw representative was sleeping at the front desk with eyes closed and then someone came to turn lights on. Found the coffee in the front lobby and poured myself a coffee but it was cold. Advised the kitchen attendant that coffee was cold so they offered to heat it up for me in the microwave. I said I would like a fresh coffee and she just shook her head and the attendant in the front woke up and said the same, Luckily there was a Dunkin Donut right there. I WILL never go back here again. Asked to speak to the manager and they said she will be there in an hour. As I was leaving right away asked them to give her a message to call me when she gets in, In the afternoon I had to call the hotel again, as she didn't return my call and when she answered she said she was too busy(Probably taking care of all the other issues the hotel might have) She offered me 3000 points because of the issue but that was not acceptable to me as I expect to have a proper experience in an IHG hotel and expect the hotel to take responsibility for their hotel. The manager could have paid for my breakfast at Dunkin Donuts (2 Large coffees) as a minimum but she didn't think this was anything unusual for the hotel.

Stay away ran down dirty and the manger will cancel your reservation it she doesn't like the rate you booked it at. Especially if there was an unexpected event that she wasn't aware of you if they get close to selling out. Be smart pay a little more and get a decent hotel.

My family of 4 including an infant and 5 yr old were left stranded in Orlando by American Airlines cancelled flight. In order to get home the next day we had to drive 3 hrs to FLL to catch an early flight out. We couldn’t make the whole trip as it was 1:00 am in the morning and we had to stay somewhere for a few hours so the kids could sleep. We were literally staying for less than 6 hrs and of course they wouldn’t help us out with any discounted rate. So ok that’s fine but when we asked for a crib they took forever at getting us one while we stood there waiting with our exhausted kids. Then after we paid $200 they didn’t even offer to take it up to the room for us. It was unbelievable. They just rolled it out at the front desk while we had all of our luggage, a baby in a stroller and the huge crib. It was pathetic! I don’t like writing bad reviews but I would tell anyone to stay away from this place. The room was not very nice either and the bedding provided for the babysitter crib was awful!

We booked 2 rooms a couple of months ago the manager/ owner called to tell me she would not honor the rate. When I called IHG to complain she cancelled the reservation. She also told us we were not allowed to stay at hotel and not even allowed to use the bathroom.

I’ve stayed here before I came back my truck broke down on the interstate and it was Essential Ford. They waited six days to tell me that they didn’t have a diesel mechanic. So I’ve been said to towed somewhere else yes it’s right off the interstate there’s a Dunkin’ Donuts right here on Italian restaurant you don’t have to go out anywhere to go get something to eat. It’s clean and I’ve never had any bad experiences here is my third time stay in here.
