Detailed Reviews
We spent two nights for my fiancé's birthday. We had no expectations and were absolutely delighted with our entire experience. We arrived and at first could not find the lobby for check in - then we realized check in was in the adorable gift shop! Arkeda checked us in and was absolutely charming and gave us lots of ideas of where to spend our time. She actually took the time to call the marina to make sure our boat was ready for the next day. She made us fresh coffee daily and was just a pure pleasure. The gift shop had alot of neat gifts, fresh sandwiches, cold drinks. The entire staff was amazingly nice and dog friendly. The grounds are really beautiful with all of the flowers and foliage. Our room was very clean with king bed and sofa with coffee table, and desk. The balcony overlooked the marina. There was live music both Friday and Saturday and we were allowed to take our dog to the Tiki Bar downstairs. We had a couple of issues after our stay, but Annie was superb at assisting us, a true professional. We plan to make this an annual trip, and we will stay at Pirate's Cove. Highly recommend.

The rooms and balconies are nonsmoking . Once you leave your room it's like walking into an ashtray. The lower tikibar had ashtrays on the bar. And walking into the covered parking area was the worst. If you are going to promote a nonsmoking resort, make sure the outside areas are included.

Dockside bar has a great view of the marina. Service was attentive however our dinner order was delayed getting putting in to the kitchen by accident. Coleslaw was off and ruined the mahi Reuben but the blackened mahi sandwich was delicious. This was our second time there and the first time we enjoyed great happy hour drink prices. Staying at another hotel for better prices.

We stay at this Resort once to twice every year and have never had as horrible an experience as this trip. We were never told up front that there is no maid service. After three days we had to argue to finally have someone come and clean which did not occur until our 4th day. We had roaches in our room and a huge build up of towels (being in the pool and out on a boat creates a lot of towels) and garbage. If you needed toilet paper or any other items for the room you had to go to front desk and ask. Not acceptable service.

Should be no stars. Run from this nightmare of a restaurant. Average food at best definitely frozen fish not fresh. worst service I have ever experienced. Took 10 min to see a waitress (where we placed our whole order at once). However, 45 minutes later, we still didn’t even have bread at our table. Almost 1 hour before we got our m raw appetizer. 1 hour for a raw appetizer is ridiculous . Then about 2 min later, they bring the salad and the Entrées all at the same time. I asked if they could remove the appetizer and the salad off my bill since I had to eat my warm entree that was brought at the same time as all our other food, including appetizer! The owner refused to help in any way. I would also like to add there were only 30 people max in a 100+ person capacity restaurant. This owner should not be in the SERVICE Industry. There are three better options one block away Shrimpers, Twisted Tuna, and Manatee. We will never be returning to this establishment. It blows my mind how the owner of a restaurant just disregarded our concerns, and refused to speak with us (sending a business card that isn’t even hers in our final bill) as patrons on Valentine’s Day.

This property has spacious rooms with a private balcony that provides a beautiful view overseeing the Marina. Our area was tranquil. The staff was fantastic and helpful.
The furniture is older but the bed and sofa were very comfortable. The sheets were so soft and the towels were of a good quality.
We will definitely return.

They were nice enough to let us check in early. They have lots of areas to just hang in front table and chairs . They have a of course a gift shop at check I . With lottery too.
We have a room with a balcony overlooking literally the boats in the marina. They only had two queen size beds. They have on property two bars on with bar food and also same menu as upstairs restaurant food all good. It is Easter weekend. So we expected it to be busy. But service they’re not missing a beat. The tiki bar has a really good pretzel bites with big amount of cheese they give you.
The Marina has a lot of commercial and private fishing boats with big tuna towers. They also have live music every night and dancing. They only do breakfast Saturday and Sunday nice menu
I had a build your own omelette which was a spinach and ham tiny little pieces of ham but lots of it, George had the usual two eggs over easy rye toast home fries all good. Lots going on.

The breaded fish tacos were awful. Too much breading. The fried clam strips were mediocre. The mahi blackened sandwich was decent. The view is great and it is easy to park your boat and walk to restaurant. Lots of televisions to watch sports. Service was decent. Drinks are expensive.

Great place whether you are visiting or a local to come hang out. I have never stayed at the resort but the bars and restaurant are amazing. Great music for what ever mood you are in with 3 bars this place appeases everyone. Make sure that you go to the outside bad as sunset and enjoy the glow and life music

My family and I were really looking forward to a nice quick winter getaway. Pirates Cove Resort and Marina really dropped the ball for us. Very rude owner Faith couldn’t seem to understand we were guests and tried to kick us out. The food is absolutely disgusting fried frozen crap. Although most of the staff were really sweet. Don’t waste your time. Other places in the area are a lot better for a better price.

I’m sorry but I do t recall. But parking is free
The waterfront rooms are not too bad. We had pool noise but no restaurant/bar noise
Unfortunately, breakfasts are only offered at the restaurant on weekends, but the hotel lobby/gift shop does offer a small selection of packaged, single-serving cereals for purchase. The Whistle Stop cafe is about 1 mike away.
Yes but the air conditioner is very loud
No ramp at the marina but there are two Ramps less than a Mile away. The marina does have a forklift for launching if you keep your boat there
