Words cannot begin to explain how amazing it was to stay here! We called on Friday night around 7 pm. The front desk girl was very helpful and professional over the phone and when we checked in. We were lucky enough to get a king size bed that she held for us until we got there. After checking in …We drove offsite of main hotel building to a villa on the beach. 3 min away. The sandpiper. Room 3107. You can see your vehicle from balcony if you park next to it. Second floor up not direct view of beach. But you can see the waves and hear the beautiful sound of the ocean. The room was decorated beautifully, very clean, smelled like fresh air nice and cold (70•) has a dishwasher stove fridge microwave coffee machine and toaster! Very nice and spacious def had a condo feel. Even had plates cups cookware… we made good use! Perfect amount of space to keep our sanity for my husband and I <6foot plus and 5’9> and our 3 kids under 3. Everything here was top of the line. From the light fixtures to the tvs to the pillows the fan the bed the shower the shampoo /conditioner . All nothing short than amazing! Usually my husband and I cannot wait until we get home in our own bed but this was SOOO comfortable. I couldn’t believe it! Had a real down mattress topper real down plush pillows. It was unreal we felt like we were on our dream vacation…. And believe me…. We needed it! service was excellent they brought us extra coffees in the morning. Everyone was very pleasant who worked here. The cleaners the pool/ beach service workers. Just an all around great experience. We fished on the beach while kids got their toes wet playing in the sand. Didn’t make it to any of the pools. First time in the area and can’t wait to go back! Ohana surf shop was so down to earth and homey feeling. New flip flops and stickers for the Yeti! Bennys downtown pizza was off the chain. Buffalo chicken pizza kids Alfredo and hot turkey sub all the way. So yummy! And they delivered right to room. We tipped graciously! So calming relaxing and we feel extremely rejuvenated after our wonderful stay. Blue agate picture in bedroom was a nice touch. And cannot forget the grounding toiletries all organic essential oils. They smelled AMAZING! Just wow! It’s a must stay!

I rarely post negative reviews. If something is wrong I prefer to talk to the staff. The Marriott staff was polite but never followed through. We were in Stuart for an air show. The first day I notice two minor issues. The refrigerator did not work and a access panel needed to be trimmed. I didn’t mention these but it seemed odd that in an newly renovated room no one caught these issues. The real problems began the second night just before we had to leave for dinner. Water started coming out from the bathroom wall. We called the front desk and they sent someone to look at the problem. A management type came up right away. When we explained that we had to leave for dinner, she said she would watch the room and call us if there were problems. No one called so I assumed everything was fixed, We got back to our room about 11:00 only to discover that there was no water. When we called the front desk we were informed that we would be getting a new room. We got settled into the new room about midnight. When I woke up I tried to make a cup of coffee, The coffee machine was broken and leaked water all over the counter, In order to wipe up the water I had to move the microwave. Someone had removed the grounding prong. The final straw with this room was that there was only one washcloth in the room. When we checked out I told the clerk about these problems. She was very apologetic and indicated that we would be receiving a partial refund. I think that a fair resolution to this problem would be a $500.00 refund. That would make the rate match the level of product we received. If the manager wishes to contact me my telephone number is in the reservation request.

Eileen at check-in was amazing. She listened and advised me that the room we had been assigned was just opened after a complete renovation. While I had not realized that most of the rooms were a significant distance from the beach, I opted not to upgrade to a room at the beach (which she indicated had not yet been renovated). The newly renovated room's refrigerator didn't work in the cabinet's outlet, and it had to be moved to the center of the room - not a huge deal. We had no TV remote...one was provided upon request. The BIG issues started as we were getting ready for bed...the fan and its light were nothing less than possessed. They turned on and off ALL night long!! I attempted to close the drapes and they wouldn't move on their track. David from Maintenance (he too was amazing) came and got the drapes closed but couldn't figure out the fan issues. I got zero sleep our first night - I spent the whole night turning off the light - only to have it come back on - magically. I went to front desk the next morning and spoke to a supervisor who assured me that everything would be taken care. I also addressed the issues with the refrigerator, the remote, no amenities on the bathroom counter (only a small bar of soap in the shower) and the fact that there was only one SMALL trashcan in the room. While I had declined room service, they did agree to come to our room, empty the trash and refresh our coffee service. When I returned to the room, I found a large plastic bag sitting under the TV. It had some towels in it. I thought that was odd and found housekeeping in the hall. They said I had requested these (even if I had, why were they left in a plastic bag under the TV?) They came in, took the bag and gave us some additional coffee. I asked if we could have some new coffee cups and while I got them, they gave them to me reluctantly. They also took some dirty towels in the shower area (something I didn't ask them to do) and our bathmat. When I realized the bathmat was missing, I went into the hall and asked for one. They said that I hadn't request daily service...I agreed, but I also didn't ask that they take the dirty towels or the bathmat. She again reluctantly gave me a bathmat. Yikes! I was advised that maintenance had checked the fan and found nothing wrong. I asked if the bulb had been removed as I requested and was told no - the fan was "fine". I again requested that the bulb be removed - I didn't want to risk another night of the light coming on and off. I ran into the maintenance supervisor as I went back to my room. He said he had been in the room earlier and they couldn't find any issues. He agreed to remove the bulb and said he would be right back. While I was waiting for him to return, the fan and the light again turned on and off by itself! He NEVER returned and I again addressed the issue with the front desk. Their response was that when he returned to my room, there was a privacy sign on the door - NOT accurate. I advised the front desk that I had spoken to another guest on our floor, and he indicated that his fan light had done the same thing. I asked that guest to report the issue. While waiting for my ride to dinner, the Operations Director, Candice, asked me how my stay was going. After explaining all the issues, she asked what they could do to make my stay better. I again asked that the light be removed from the fan (my husband did not want the hassle of switching rooms for one additional night). I was exhausted from little to no sleep. She again asked what else they could do...I asked that our first night be refunded and asked for extra points be added to my account. She indicated that she would review everything and get back with me the next day. That night, as we were getting ready for bed, we realized the light was STILL in the fixture and STILL malfunctioning. David was again sent to our room, and he witnessed the fan issues (even though, we had been told there were NO issues with the fan/light). He attempted to remove the light cover/bulb but couldn't figure out how to remove it. Our only option was to NOT use the fan and put it in the off mode. That allowed us to not have the light issue, but we had no fan (something I use nightly at our home). David apologized and said he would report our issues (and all the others...). I went to the front desk the next morning (check-out for us) to see how Marriott was going to address all the issues with our stay. They indicated we could have a credit of $150. I said that's not what Candice and I had discussed. The front desk then offered 35K points (a night's stay according to the clerk). I asked for a full refund of the night and the points. The clerk said she wasn't authorized to offer that but could give me a $200 credit. I again said that I had expected more, and she said she would get with Candice. I told her to apply the $200 credit, talk with Candice and then reach out to me later for a final resolution. I received an updated receipt that showed the $200 credit, but never heard back from anyone at the hotel. As a loyal Marriott customer, I expected more from this property. I, like other reviews, feel that this property needs some major renovations to be at the level one expects from Marriott. While I was initially excited for a brand-new room, it provided nothing but exhaustion and frustrations. The hotel knows how to contact me...I'm remaining hopeful that they can resolve this to my satisfaction and prevent other guests from the issues we had.

My husband and I booked the sandpiper beach tower studio suite. We were put in room 3001. The lanai door didn’t open and the phone didn’t work. We were told they could move us but only had one room left 3115. We moved rooms. The room had stained and torn carpeting in the living room. The windows all had mold on them inside and out. The lanai door was mold too. The refrigerator leaked water on the floor. We spent as little time as possible in the room. Unfortunately the pool area wasn’t much better. The pool and jacuzzi and deck area had green algae. When I showed the front desk my photos of the room and pool area I was told management doesn’t check the rooms and would have to look into the matter. I was offered 5000 Bonvoy points, but this didn’t fix the issue. Unfortunately this property has lost me as a customer. This was a very sad way to spend our 30th anniversary…

Rundown hotel. Not great service everywhere. This hotel suffers from what has become typical of Bonvoy. They email me with service requests, then they provide zero. It is my feeling, that most Bonvoy hotels have zero connection with the actual hotel. I receive no points at allot of Bonvoy hotels, I called the desk at 9:00 pm to see if anyone new anything about Bonvoy, and her reply was I know nothing. Call the manager tomorrow, she said. Bonvoy is a joke.I’m personally through with them.

Not understanding the bad reviews ! We really like this quint town ! We were pleasantly surprised after reading the terrible reviews. This resort is like a small golf and tropical retreat . It is MASSIVE resort . We stayed at the sandpiper tower . We are platuim elite so we got upgraded to a suite room 3107 1st floor facing lush greenery but not high enough to see ocean why I gave it 4 stars not 5 .. we payed for ocean view . So at check in it was a challenge to find our building and room . We initially booked the studio so we finally found the room wow it was very very nice furnishings were brand new and modern like an updated studio apartment but it was facing the parking lot so we called the front desk they gave us a suite and it was a very large room .. you could probably stay comfortably for 2 weeks ! Which we may do next time ! We live in palm beach so we mainly do our staycations in Lauderdale or the keys . It’s just getting to busy in our area so this why I LOVE this resort it’s so quaint and cute ! Pools are ok not huge but the food and service at tiki bar ocean side was excellent ! Chic wings were meaty very good and the drinks were outstanding ! The bartender was a young man but very very personable @ we actually saw him working day into night .. def a hard worker . As well we had breakfast at the main hotel as platinummembers was a free breakfast buffet and it was EXCELLENT and our waitress was even better she only works weekends sorry I didn’t get her name ! Overall really nice getaway w lots to do in the resort . AGAIN awe were totally confused on finding our room only weird thing about this resort . Another tip if u stay for a week bring your own sodas , waters , alcohol and snacks because the kitchenettes were fully equipped! We only stayed 2 days so we only brought waters . But def don’t skip there breakfast it was so good ! Again we did not stay in the Main resort building maybe why the bad reviews . Lobby was very nice to check in . Congratulations on the staff EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SO FRIENDLY. This resort is like your own quaint town . We will be back but for a longer stay !

We are loyal Marriott Bonvoy members, and have stayed all over US and Europe in Marriott properties. The app on my phone said we were entitled to an upgrade. We had already booked an ocean-view room with kitchenette and balcony. The lobby was very appealing, and Gina, who checked us in, was very pleasant and helpful. She said she gave us an upgrade. We were in the Sandpiper Tower down by the beach. They said the Tiki Bar closes at 4, so we rushed down, as soon as we dropped our bags. Arriving at 3;40, it was closed down. That pool also closes at 4. Huh?? Our first impression of the room (3103, first floor above the garage) was that it was beautiful. The balcony was furnished with one chair only, and faced tall bushes, hiding the ocean. When we got back from the closed Tiki Bar, my husband called the desk, and asked if they could move us up one floor, so we could see the ocean. She said no because the hotel was full. That was a lie. In the two nights we were there, there were never more than 5 cars in the garage. I asked the Tiki Bar (very nice guy named Craig) “Is it always this quiet?” He said it is at this time of year. There were only 4 other people there when we were there yesterday. Did that girl think we’re stupid; that we couldn’t see for ourselves that the building was empty? So Pierre came with another chair, and small table (Nice man), and we continued to enjoy the view of the tall bushes….lol. There were 4 wine glasses in the cupboard, all dirty, so I washed them. The faucet leaked so bad that water collected all over the counter. Put a towel there and moved the toaster, so we would not be electrocuted the next morning. Carpet badly stained. Had trouble getting anything on TV. Engineer had to come (Nice man named David). Evidently, the hotel’s system is “DISH”, which can’t reach an agreement with Hearst, so we couldn’t get many stations. Okay, let’s watch a movie. Well…..here’s another problem. You can only watch Netflix by accessing your own personal Netflix account, and I canceled mine a couple of weeks ago. My iPad could only access the internet on our first day there. Girl at front desk walked me through several steps, and I tried it 6 times to no avail. Also, my phone wouldn’t work from there. They both work fine now. Yesterday, there came a point where I just wanted to go home and forfeit the money for last night’s stay, but I was just too exhausted to pack up and drive. We were out by 9AM today, but I couldn’t use my Bonvoy app to check out until I got home. Learned an expensive lesson.

We had a great stay! Eileen went above and beyond for our anniversary. We greatly appreciate her! Joseph was great at breakfast at Baja. The hotel is nice and our room was clean. There are some renovations that should only make the place better, but we never heard even the slightest noise.

All I can say is WOW. What a disappointment. 8th year our family and friends gather for Labor Day weekend with a different destination. Not only was this the worst in those 8 years but worst since i stayed in a Red Roof Inn in Valdosta because there were no other accommodations. This place was a joke from the Management all the way down to the pool attendant that kept telling little kids that they are splashing too much water and it’s coming out of the pool. The rooms were horrible although we left the day that they were starting renovations so obviously personnel kept knocking on our door from 8:00 am until 10:00 am hurrying us up too check out by saying oops I’m sorry i didn’t know you guys were still here. From the no fun police at the pool to the late night forbidden conversations far away from any rooms. Don’t know why anyone would want to stay at this resort unless you are anti social with no kids, hate music and doesn’t enjoy life. There were probably 75 guests in or around the pool and they all shared the same sentiments. A man was playing music on a small speaker, not even that loud , you probably couldn’t hear from 50 feet a way. Everyone booed when the manager told him to turn It off. Her reaction was to yell at everyone and threatened to close the pool down. Later some little kids age ranging from 3 to 7 came in to the pool with small round floating devices and the parents were told that they couldn’t use those . The dad got upset and quietly voiced his opinion and the tax payers money was wasted as the police were called. I thought we lived in America. This Hotel definitely does not believe they are part of this great country . Stay away.

Horrible dirty place . Unfriendly pool Guy unless u tip him . Barmaids were very nice . All outlets in room for cell phones etc none worked . Called the desk maintenance man came pushed my boyfriend . We called front desk upset and they called like a swat team which was like a murder took place . They have nothing g better to do these police there I never saw anything like it . It was embarrassing we had to pack and leave . We had a great night out dinner and had to now Uber home from a place we thought we would have a nice get away . I do not recommend this hotel at all . It’s old need a repairs the pool is filthy . Again do not go not worth the time or money .
