You should check your voice mail. I returned every call this week and I know I left several voice mails from the hotel guests. I was unable to call during the day as I was working at the desk to try to help...More
Just checked out of the siesta beach resort. Stayed for 5 days. 2 days at beach were ok, 3 days were not. We made the best of it, but you cannot fault a hotel for issues that are not in their control. Girls at the...More
My husband and I visited last week. The property itself was great. Very close to the beach and would be super convenient if you had kids with you as there is a kitchenette and washer and dryer in the unit. We only were able to...More

I'm sorry that red tide affected your stay. I personally spoke with every person that asked for a manager. We go have parameters set and if there is an official health alert from any government entity we will follow what they say we...More

I lived in Sarasota for 20 years and now I vacation there. I grew up going to Siesta Key everyday back when this was a Best Western hotel. There is NOTHING positive to say about this hotel other than the location is perfect. It makes flea-bag hotels look like the Ritz. The hotel doesn't have to change anything because the location is so great, they make tons of money. You'll pay double for any other property. You're spending most of your time on the beach anyway - and you can always shower at the beach. Honestly, if you can cancel and afford a better place to stay, I would find another place. There are a lot of rental condos in that same area.
Most people rent a car to drive from Tampa to Sarasota. Also, have at least $2 on you to pay the toll on the Skyway bridge.

I live in Sarasota for 30 years and have to say that if you are going for a great hotel experience then don't bother. If you are coming to experience life on Siesta Key then you won't find a better place for the money. You're truly steps away from the beach and Siesta Key Village. You could literally walk everywhere you need to go. Your stay at the hotel should not take away from the Siesta Key experience if you are truly coming to experience Siesta Key. Hope this helps!
