I took a chance on this based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Came down for a few days to scuba and take a freediving class. The room was clean, and the property was quiet. Some people have complained about not being allowed to have guests.. So what. If you're coming down to scuba, freedive, or just drive to public beaches, then this is the place for you. It is close to the dive boats and beaches are only a 10 min drive. My only complaint would be that the internet could be a lot better. I couldn't stream movies on my computer. Other than that, it is perfect.
difficult experience no customer service only conflict unwilling to change dates or cancel due to family hospital emergency but it was impossible I will never reserve added to nightmare experience rather sleep in car
This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Riviera Marina, for Scuba Diving, Boat and Fishing Trips. Lots of Free Parking, Rooms are Clean, and a good size with good bathrooms with Shower. Staff are Helpful and Friendly Fridge in Room with Air Con. So would stay here again, and use this place as my base. Safe Area. Lots of Places to go get some food. Only Flip side for my visit, is the Intern is bad in the area, you need to go the office to get a signal, upgrade in the area I have been told. Calypso Chart Diver's are based with other Scuba Diving Charters at Riviera Marina only a 4mins away by car or 20min walk.
The personnel there were awesome, they took care of you 100%, made you feel like family, The hotel is like minutes from the Palm Beach Port if your going on a cruise....awesome price....let us leave our vehicle for a very very affordable price..very safe, rooms are nice....
1st room had leak in commode, they changed my room & 2nd room had no hot water. Owner/mgr. blamed me for the wet bathroom floor despite my having fell in the puddle of water! Then claimed that room #2 did have hot water when in fact it was barely room temp. Very argumentative & of course me, the customer was wrong. Got out of there as fast as I could! No in-room or lobby coffee, dirty & very outdated rooms! Worst motel I've stayed at!
We booked the Travel Inn through an online booking service. When we arrived, we were a bit concerned. The place looked like a very basic roadside motel. But the warmth and kindness of the reception started to change our views. The room was quite a surprise. It is probably the cleanest hotel room I have seen in years. The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning a bit noisy but excellent. The bathroom was beautiful, with a very good shower. The room had a small kitchen space, with a microwave and minibar-style refrigerator. A good flat screen with the usual selection of channels completed the room. A couple of items were lacking and would have brought even more comfort to the accomodation: towel hangers in the bathroom; a basic wardrobe or a rack with a set of hangers for the clothes; an electric kettle in the mini kitchen space. It is a family run establishment and they are extremely helpful and kind. No breakfast is provided. WiFi is free. Parking is free and easy. Excellent value for money, especially for shorter stays.…
We were traveling to the Keys and were tent camping our way there. I was so tired of driving and needed a good nights sleep. We found the room to be clean, it was run down but that's ok for us. The fridge, microwave, wifi, and a/c all worked. I will go back again.
The hotel had all the perks like microwave and fridge in room, free wifi, breakfast but if the room is that badly kept I would not recommend the food. The area was close to the highway 95 just like they advertise but the hotel was run down and poorly kept. The room was smelly and bathroom was gross. A well known company sold it as a 3star and at best it was not even a 1 start. I hope my review get posted so I can help someone to choose better than what I had to endure choosing this place.
We were looking for a cheap motel to stay in for one night before our cruise so we tried this. We got there and the place is a dump. The entrance sucked due to road work. The room was at least 95 when we walked in. Bathroom was horrible. We sat there for 5 minutes and left to go see a movie just to cool off. When we got done with the movie we never went back. Lost out on $50 but it's worth it then staying there for a night.
the place was worth the price, clean, t.v, fridge, micro wave, wifi, twin queen beds for two. it was excellent to spend the night before joining the ship, and a reasonable price..i would recommend all seaman to stay at the travel inn of riviera, closer to windixie, and close to the port as well
