We were able to stay at this resort using an Interval International Exchange. As such we were not charged a daily resort fee nor parking fee. I requested a 2 bedroom suite in the Sunrise Tower, highest floor, on the north side (to avoid next door construction going on on the south side). I was told there were not guarantees about where we would be assigned. However, all my requests were fulfilled and we enjoyed wonderful views of the ocean front from our 18th floor in the Sunrise Tower. The villas are beautifully appointed throughout. One issue we had was there were not separate thermostats for the master unit and the 2nd bedroom, so we had to improvise to keep our aged parents' room warmer and ours colder. We enjoyed using the well appointed kitchen for cooking, baking and making drinks. The outside balcony is spacious and well furnished. Something we missed was having an access to the balcony from the master bedroom, as well as the living room. We found staff most helpful and anxious to fulfill our requests. Parking was convenient as it is on the first 5 floors of the resort itself so directly below the suites. We were even allowed to park a second vehicle without being charged for it. The swimming pools and hot tubs were beautiful with ample room around them for loungers and chairs. A direct access to the beach right from the pools makes it even better. And there are free loungers on the beach for resort guests. We'd love to come here again someday.

We keep coming back to Marriott Oceana Palms! We have been to Aruba, St Thomas, St Johns and most of the resorts on Hilton Head. They are all nice, but at Oceana Palms you make special memories in a spacious 2 BR oceanfront condo that sleeps 8. As a mother of 7 children, I look forward to coming to Singer Island and know the AWESOME staff will take great care of my family. Yari, the general manager, Chris & Andrea are the best! We have been coming here almost every year for over 10 years. Tonight as we watched the 4th of July fireworks I was reminiscing about all the great times at Oceana Palms. My kids aging from 32 yrs down to 13 years old say " Oceana Palms is the best place on earth!

This hotel was amazing! We stayed in a two bedroom suite and I was so impressed with our rooms. Everything was clean and sanitized and the rooms smelled amazing. The decor had an adorable coastal vibe and everything from the furniture to the carpet seemed new and clean. We had a large kitchen and the bathroom was huge, with an awesome shower! The pool was right outside the hotel and very pretty! There were fountains and It had beautiful tile work with a European feel. Even though some reviews said the restaurant was closed, there was a restaurant/cafe attached to the hotel, that was open, right next to the pool. It had the most amazing food. Some of my favorites were the quesadillas, the mozzarella sticks, the pretzel sticks and their burgers and tacos were awesome. I think I gained 5 pounds in 4 days from all the delicious food I ate there. Even though there was no poolside or beach service, the restaurant is so close to the pool and the beach that it was really easy to just grab the food and then bring it back to your lounge chair. The beach was beautiful! It was never crowded and whenever we would go down to the beach their was someone there to assist us with making sure we had lounge chairs to lay in. I loved this beach because it had a sandbar, so the water did not get deep right away and you were able to slowly make your way into the deeper water. The beach was clean and the water was very clear! This hotel and pool area felt like perfect size as it never felt crowded, but was not overwhelming to navigate through. This hotel was close to everything. There was a Publix grocery store just down the street. It was very close to the famous bridge that you can snorkel off of. It was 6 minutes from the Harbor where where we rented a catamaran for the day, as well as did a shark tour (Shark Tours Fl), it was an amazing experience to swim with the sharks. We had stayed in Miami for a few days before coming to the Marriott and the hotel we stayed in while we were in Miami had a big name and was three times the price and I think this Marriott put that hotel to shame. This hotel was so much more affordable for almost the same size suite, the food here was not only less expensive but it tasted ten times better and the service was a lot faster. The staff here was so nice and accommodating. They took several pictures for us in their pretty lobby and out by the pool. We will definitely be back and we plan on staying here again because we just LOVE this hotel, beach and area of Florida!

Was excited to stay here as I love Marriott properties. Looked like a good place to stay. I think the hotel and rooms itself are great. Low key area and great for families. Beautiful beach and a really nice pool with lots of kids and families.
The quick service restaurant (only one on property) was good and the service was quick. Had a lot of every day needs as well.
Customer service here is severely lacking. Everyone is very friendly but basically management is no where to be found. I had a 4 pm check in and got to the hotel around noon and checked in. I understand I’d have to wait until 4pm the latest which I was fine with. However every single front desk employee I spoke with kept saying “oh your room will be ready very shortly they’re cleaning it now”. I was very patient as I knew 4pm was technically check in. 4pm came and went and I never received a text my room was ready. When I went to the front desk at 4:05 pm they said “oh they’re just cleaning and inspecting the room shouldn’t be more than 15 min”. It took over 20 min. Next I asked to speak with the manager because I wanted to see what could be done. They “magically” found a room for me. The manager took forever to come out of the back and basically told me to speak to the other manager tomorrow (to pass me off to someone else.)
I have two kids - and this is simply unacceptable. I asked for a late check out which I had to make sure the employee put in the system - at first he just said “sure”.
I requested Marriott points as compensation for this inconvenience (this is pretty standard at Marriott’s) and never received them.
Lastly the parking at this hotel is ridiculous. The parking garage is insanely small so if you have an suv there’s not many spots you can fit. They even had to add parallel parking spots in front of the elevators which are a tight squeeze. They do have an EV charger but it’s a 3 hour max.
Overall I loved the property but probably wouldn’t return because customer service is lacking.

First time here as a vacation club owner and having a mixed experience. The hotel is nice and renovated, but they definitely went cheap with the renovations. Our suite was supposedly just completed but they definitely didn’t review the work thoroughly as it looks like a rookie completed most of it. However, the service is where things really stood out. It’s not good! Outside of the waiter at the pool bar, we didn’t come across a single staff member that cared about the guest experience or satisfaction. From the moment I checked in, there was a general lack of customer service or concern for the guests. It got worse when all we needed were extra towels and it took 3 hours and 4 calls to finally get them. It’s clear there is a culture issue that most likely starts with management that doesn’t care and is passed down to the staff. It’s unfortunate.

I have been a Marriott vacation club owner for the last nine years and have stayed at many different vacation club properties and Marriott properties so I have a lot to compare it to. The facilities itself were nice we were put in a newly renovated room that was ocean view. When I booked on the Marriott vacation club website I was guaranteed an ocean front room. Somehow that did not translate to the property itself and so I paid for an oceanfront room and got an ocean view. The management at the property would not Rectify the situation so I was left calling Marriott vacation club to get a refund on the point difference between an ocean front and an ocean view room. The pools are nice but not extravagant. The access to the beach is great with plenty of beach chairs the only catch is if you want an umbrella you have to pay $15 a day even as a Marriott guest. Most of the resource amenities were shut down due to Covid so I can’t say that I had a full experience of this resort. However I would look for other options next time I am staying in the area due to the influx ability and moving us to the room that we had reserved in the relatively small pool area and restaurant choices marketplace all were a bit dated and not up to Marriott standards. The other Marriott resort literally a mile down the road had a ton more outdoor amenities for kids a much better layout when it came to rooms and a ton more choices when it came to restaurants. We picked this resort based off of the opinion that it was the best Marriott vacation club in the United States and I would say that is far far from the truth.

We stay here 2-3 times each year because we need to stay close to home. The rooms are clean and fully stocked. The beach is clean white sand and there is a beautiful reef in front of the resort. There are Manatees that swim from the port to the north end of the island and back everyday. One passed right by me. We love being in the pool because we don't have one at home. The service is not bad but not geat. No cheerful greetings, not even acknowledged at times. We observed one of the activities staff stand around at Reflections for 2 1/2 hours just chatting with other staff and the entertainment. When she called Bingo, she called numbers from her phone so fast several people had to ask her to slow down...boring! Dirk in reflections is the best server, unfortunately he was away this week and the servers this time were slow. A fitness instructor only spoke to us after 5 classes asking for a good review? We do always leave a tip for Housekeeping because they get overlooked.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Oceana Palms and loved everything about it. Its small with 2 buildings with beautiful villa views from the balconies from both buildings. Villas are all the same, spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bath and 2 queen beds in guest bedroom (fyi: you probably won't get 2 queen beds in guest room at Ocean Pointe). Several fun events....only event we didnt like was sangria event where they served canned sangria (yuk). Fabulous restaurant and bar with exceptionally good food. I couldnt pass up their breakfast sandwich. The Thanksgiving dinner was really good and plentiful start to finish. There was plenty of pool space (2 pools and lap pool and 2 hot tubs) and seating Talented and hospitable staff: Kaitlyn at FD was great in helping me request a nice villa (wrap around mid level in Sunset bldg was awesome) Ashley FD manager impressed me because she was always out at the front desk making sure everything run smoothly Kami Concierge went above and beyond to help out with appointments etc Sarah and Altalie in Market cart always had smiles and were so accomodating And of course Penny the pool ambassador who was so much fun to talk to and always helpful.
Oceana Palms is not the size of Ocean pointe...but quality over quantity imo.

I have some nice things to say about this resort but there is room for improvement. The property is well maintained and we were happy with our 2 bed, 2 bath unit with an ocean view villa. Daily activities were fun and enjoyable. The live music was great and added to the vacation vibe. Restaurant food was prepared well and there were several choices. I especially enjoyed the Mediterranean Salad. It would have been nice if there were more umbrellas at the pool and new deck areas. Also a few dining tables with some shade next to the pool would be a nice addition. The pools aren't very large and can get crowded. Luckily we were there during a non-peak time. Parking can be a challenge inside the parking garage and the parking spots are very small. Two levels are reserved for staff. We had a problem with getting the correct amount of resort credits with the concierge staff, which I have mentioned in my Marriott survey for management to address, but it was an major inconvenience with several conversations to get the situation resolved and it affected our impression of this resort. The area off property is a bit sketchy especially if you want to drive to the downtown area. We drove about 10-15 minutes to the Publix in Palm Beach Gardens because the closest one didn't look inviting.

We stayed at this Marriott property this Labor Day weekend and we had also stayed here for Memorial Day. The resort is small but it is very nicely appointed right on the beach with comfortable and spacious villas and many amenities and activities for guests. The food in the restaurants is pretty good and the pool area is quite nice with music and fun activities like live music, DJ, games etc. We really enjoyed the DJ, Mr. Trombone, as the music he played was great and he really engaged everyone by the pool to have fun. The resort feels very safe and has a lot to do for kids.
The resort is quite nice and the service is good too for a vacation club. We normally go to Marco Island Crystal Shores and while this resort is not at that level, we were pleasantly surprised with how enjoyable it was! The property is well taken care of and the staff all were really pleasant and accommodating! Overall, we had a great stay and we would return if we ever wanted to go back to Singer Island!
