GLENDALE HOUSE - UPDATED 2021 B&B Reviews (South Erradale, Scotland)

Had a fabulous stay at Glendale house. Such a dreamlike location with some of the most outstanding views. Not only is it a stones throw from what must be one of the most beautiful beaches on the British isles - it is also accessible for all the wonderful rugged peaks and coastline that the north west Scottish highlands has to offer. The sub-tropical swimming pool was a great hit with our kids but we particularly liked the sultry temperatures in there ! Steve and Lynne were great hosts and were happy to supply anything we needed - not that we needed much as the apartment was so well stocked. A special mention should go to Steve who kindly supplied us with a brand new cookable fire pit when I mentioned we had not brought our own bbq. Also all the gifts they supplied on arrival - a very nice touch indeed. All in all a very special holiday - partly due to the general location and the weather - but mainly due to the cosy accommodation coupled with its rustic but beautiful views and surroundings. Will love to come back here and can’t recommend it highly enough !…

Perfect Holiday Getaway!!!

Our family of four stayed here for a week over mid-August. The owners are very friendly (nothing too much trouble) but not intrusive. The flat had everything we needed and was well-maintained. The pool was a real bonus on the rare rainy day. Situated a short and very scenic drive from Gairloch/ Strath, with Red Point beach very close and another lovely little beach just a walk away. We hope to come back. Highly recommended!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glendale house. Given the current circumstances regarding covid we were apprehensive about going away however Steve and lynne were fantastic and made sure all the apartments were thoroughly cleaned and steamed and disinfected twice. We also found out that they left a 72 hour gap between change over which was so reassuring for us! Staying here gave us the opportunity to make the most of the beeches close by which allowed my son to enjoy some time paddling and rock pooling whilst meeting all government guidelines. Couldn’t recommend Glendale enough! We are hoping to come back up in autumn but will definitely be back next year!!!!!

Fantastic visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have been well impressed with Glendale House this is my 5th visit here and have to congratulate Lynne and Steve on their impeccable handling of the Covid situation the apartments are very clean and have seen them steam disinfectant the apt twice after guests leave this is done very meticulous and with great diligence to safety for themselves and guests, They have also implemented a 72hr lockdown initiative where once the guests have left the apt is not available for this period to enable them to do a thorough cleaning and maximise your safety while staying. I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful stay.

Post lockdown get-away

Our stay at Glendale was wonderful. The apartment, pool, and service was all top notch. And as for the area and scenery... well you can’t get much better! Massive thanks to Lynne and Steve for accommodating us and going out of their way to make sure everything was clean, safe, and enjoyable.
