I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Kevin greeted us and made sure our Marriott status was recognized. The hotel was very quiet and clean. I had one issue with the room but it was resolved immediately. Also the hotel is nicely located to allow easy in and easy out from the hotel. The hotel is literally right off RT 75.

We were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful accommodations and staff friendliness at this Ocala hotel. We stayed 3 nights in a king studio room and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was worried about the highway noise but it was nonexistent in our room. Pricing was competitive and the included breakfast was more than adequate with hot dishes (scrambled eggs, breakfast meats and sandwiches), fruit (wish they had bananas), yogurt, hard boiled eggs, good bagels and muffins etc. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good sized. Plenty of hot water and very friendly check in staff as well as hospitality staff. We did not use the pool, spa or workout room but all were inviting. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Booked based upon review ratings. The reviews are so misleading. This hotel needs a complete makeover in each room. The rooms smell and are dirty. I would challenge Anthony Capuano (CEO)to stay here with his family. A business should be up to par for the consumer and the owner. This is not management, this is corporate. “We put people first” is questionable. If you want to stay true to your corporate values please upgrade this hotel. The bathroom, carpet, floor, and furniture was dirty. The furnishings were old. See photos.

We just stopped for the night on our way to Marco Island. It was easy to get off the highway. It was a nice quiet location. We walked over to Cheddars. It was the first time we went to one. We had the ribs and they were great! Our room was clean and quiet.

Rented a 2-Bedroom on the 3rd floor for the weekend. The staff was super nice and the rooms very clean. We didn't get to try the breakfast. The hotel is just off the interstate but not so close to have a lot of noise. The area surrounding the hotel felt safe.

We love the Residence Inn in Ocala. It is in a perfect location- close to gas stations and WaWa! Plus the Inn is super clean with wonderful rooms. All the amenities you need are in the room. Love making a fresh pot of coffee before we go down for breakfast. Breakfast is delicious with a great choice of items, including fruit, bagels, yogurt, juice and the most delicious warm spinach and cheese muffins.

Rooms remained uncleaned even after switching rooms and having to come back next day. DIRTY. RUDE. IRREVERENT. Not even wiped down. Overcharged cards w/complications at every step. Falling apart from the inside out. Spiders and millipedes. Covered in grime, dust, gunk, animal hair. TVs and remotes unusable. Reused/soiled breakfasts. Housekeeping caught taking our belongings morning before an early checkout management (or front desk) was complicit. Shady, gross, lazy, cut corners and unsafe. Less than half the staff were even sweet, genuine people. Find literally anywhere else.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Sanibel. The clerk at the front desk checked us in quickly and efficiently. The room was large and clean with good shower pressure. The manager who checked us out of the hotel told us about the history of Ocala. Overall it was a great hotel and stay.

Booked two rooms for myself and another couple for an overnight stay and what a disappointment! Getting off of route 75 to locate hotel was a nightmare in the dark, very difficult to find even though you could see route 75 right next to it, but you have to weave in and out of small back roads to find it. Once we arrive I was quickly comforted by the beautiful lobby, but once you leave the main floor of this hotel the rest of the building is so old!!!! The only good thing was we would only be spending the night there and it appeared to be clean. They give you a welcome gift of (1) one bottle of PURIFIED water and a microwave popcorn bag. I guess we were supposed to share that one bottle of PURIFIED water between the two of us. In the room they did offer an up-scale bottle of water for an additional $1? Marriott for the last couple of years has been buying hotel chains and immediately renovate the lobbies first to give the impression of a nice place to stay, but in reality the rest of the hotel is in need of repair. The photos of the hotel are NOT what it looks like when you arrive as they must have been photo-shopped to get the desired look they wanted to present to the public, because I can assure you that although those photos are basically nice, they must have been taken 20 years ago when the hotel was new as this was not what it looked like once inside the room.…

Horrible guest service at feont desk . had to actually call marriott itself to get help. air conditioning so loud random sketchy ppl wondering around inside and out . rooms dirty, no detail cleaning let alone covid safe this pics are from the 2nd cleaner room
