Coastal Waters is a throwback classic 1950s Florida vintage hotel. Coastal Waters consists of 3 buildings with three floors. It was recently converted to condos in January of 2021. The property has been modernized and updated with fast WIFI, a new heated pool, extended gas line to the grill area so no more propane tanks and digital wifi enabled door locks to provide easy access and simple contactless check in!

Very nice place but some creep was caught (by multiple people) taking pictures of my friend and I laying out by the pool. Other than that it was a great stay. Booked last minute for Fourth of July and was fairly cheap. Nice pool and right on the beach. Plenty of parking.

Nice place, clean rooms and all, great beach location. The staff needs to work on their attitudes though. Too many NO signs around....and dont think of arriving an hour early. No checkins until 3pm, no accomodations available for you to use if you are early and have to go the the bathroom, etc.
We wanted to stay an additional day, but we werent allowed to "room hop" as the desk guy told us.

Please understand we have the 3PM check-in policy because we need time to get the rooms cleaned after the 11AM check-out. Most hotels offering early check-in are large hotels that are never full and/or have the extra rooms to work with. In the summer time and weekends year round we are normally completely full, and have to give the housekeepers time to get those rooms as clean as you found yours when you checked-in. We don't post the signs and make the rules to discomfort any of our guests, they're there to ensure all our guests are comfortable.

Great location! You cant get any closer to the water. Older place but clean & kept up. Some rooms are musty but most seem pretty nice.Between all of us we had 7 rooms all of which were alitlle different in size but had the same ammenties.The only problem was the woman at the front desk who was very rude & unhelpful. Unfortunately, she was the only employee we saw there.

Stayed for one week on first floor, oceanfront suite. Very comfy and cozy! The suite was well stocked with essential kitchen cookware, dishes, silverware and linens. Bed was super comfortable. We could hear the waves every morning when we woke up and every night when we went to bed.
I can't wait to visit again!

We did not have a key to access any of the gates that lead to the outside or to the beach until the middle of our 2nd day.
The entry way was a very small “lobby” with no check-in desk. This lead straight into the pool area so you had to wheel your luggage by the pool and up two or three sets of stairs. We ended up throwing our luggage over the fence since the gates were locked and it was closer to our room than to walk through the lobby.
The bedroom and bathroom had no a/c as well as the doors would not fully shut and would get stuck when trying to open.
Our window was cracked but was duct taped as a solution.
Our toilet had some issues, and we contacted our tenant in which she sent somebody up to “fix” it, however it was never fully fixed.
None of the lights in our hallway worked at night and there was no elevators.
The pool light was floating next to us with the electrical cords exposed.
There was no management on-site and was sometimes difficult to get in contact with.
Our power went out twice, one time being for 5 hours.
Half the buttons on our tv remote worked, there was no sink drain plug to wash dishes, and there was no oven pan, which were all very minor but still an inconvenience.
We went for my mothers yearly birthday trip and this was our first time to NSB. We were very disappointed and still tried to celebrate outside of the room.

This disgusting unit should be taken out of service until it’s gutted to the studs and remodeled. We arrived to find the batteries dead in the door lock. No way to get in. Management didn’t respond. No staff on site. Looked up and saw there was a key hanging in the upper corner of the door frame. Anyone could have come into the room since there was an unsecured key on the door frame to the room . No shampoo, soap, paper towels. Almost no dishes. 3 drinking glasses, no dishwasher. Refrigerator with doors swinging the wrong way. The fact that there was no encasement on the mattress was shocking. That’s basic rental 101. Worst place I’ve ever been in

Well, the location is great. I found out this place got hit by the hurricane, very sad. That being said, maybe owners should not rent out the unit if it is not fully repaired. I am staying in unit 116, and it looks nothing like the photos. Very old beat up couch, which was supposed to be a sleeper sofa, floors obviously where replaced but there are chunks of grout all over. The bathroom is a mess, maybe they ate still working on it. No pictures on the walls. Only a beat up old couch, huge tv and coffee table in the living room. I am having to share the bed with my friend. At least the bed is super comfy. I am really disappointed after paying almost $600 for three nights. The property manager is super helpful and the poor girl who cleans the units has no help. I will not be back or recommend this place. Owners said they had not updated photos on the web site. They need to do that. I feel very duped.

Clearly this room should not have been rented. AC broken and portable unit did not adequately cool it. I tried putting the box fan in doorway to bedroom to help. Heat intolerable even at night. I took sheets off the bed and slept on the couch. Husband slept in the chair. No onsite mgmt. Text only. Mold in shower faucet. Unusual closet...don't know what was stored in the drawers but you certainly couldn't hang your clothes. I tried contacting them but have received no response.

I was confirmed with a beachfront room. Last minute changed to pool side. Second floor walk up. Only way to get in when you arrive is through a vacant lobby. There is no management on site. Right there you know that pool was a free for all. Find out previous tennant took the key required to get on the beach. Could not access the beach for the first day. The next day had to wait for the maids to get me a key. The kitchen did not have dish detergent. The front window had a big crack in it duct taped up. Nightmare. Do not go here if you want a nice couples get away. Good if you want a break from your trailer and you have screaming kids. Bring them and let them run wild! No one there to stop you!

We stayed at Coastal Waters in June 2021. The pool was crowded with people not staying at the hotel! Complex is run down and trashy. Beach chairs were moldy and tables were dirty. We watched a couple carry 3 fish tanks filled with snakes and a tarantula into their unit! Do not stay there!
