On a whim we decided to see if we could get a room for the night (Tuesday)since we were planning to spend the day (Wednesday) at the beach. I did book the room on the app with points, but I didn’t feel like I was treated any differently. The staff was friendly and we were able to get a 4 pm checkout which worked out nicely so we could take quick showers before we drove home.
I have read the reviews on this site and while I agree that the carpets could have been cleaner in the hallways, you are at the beach. Sand is everywhere and if the visitors did their part by rinsing off before they entered it would help cut down on some. Remember, you are at the beach, a place to relax have fun with friends and let it all hang out so to speak. There will be noise, crowds, etc.
The lobby area was welcoming and even though we are dealing with Covid-19, the hotel still offers prepackaged breakfast items, you can still make your own coffee and toast your bagels. Is it the hot breakfast one would expect? No, but they did I wonderful job. We purchased drinks at the bar and we felt they were reasonably priced.
The pool area is small, but you are at the beach! Enjoy what Florida and NSB has to offer. The location of the property is on Flagler so there quaint shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
We had a two bed room and it was perfect for three of us. The bathroom was large and the sitting area is nice with a mini frig and microwave. We did notice the shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles affixed to the shower were fairly empty but we were only there one night so no reason to complain. We had no issues with the A/C.
We would definitely stay again. Thanks Marriott for making a “whim” enjoyable.

My husband and myself stayed at this lovely hotel from Monday September 21st for 2 nights in room 338. Our check in went very smoothly and Emma was very friendly and professional . We wanted a balcony on ocean front and paid the extra on my Bonvoy account. The balcony was very small and I thought after paying the extra plus tax was a little high for 2 nights. One more problem was people smoking in all directions on their balcony which I hate at the best of times and this put me off sitting outside and closed the door...not nice at 7am !! however, the location was perfect. The hotel lobby was very clean and everyone took care cleaning as we checked in. A mask is required at all times in the lobby area. Breakfast offered and everything was very clean, wrapped cakes and pastries , fruit and cereal , milk and yogurt . You can not sit in breakfast room and had to take outside which was not a problem and we both understand due to this virus! I made the mistake and went to Starbucks area and ordered a hot tea with milk and did not realize that the tea and coffee area was in another place....paid $11 for tea ! Our room was very clean and spotless bathroom , shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are attached to the wall in beautiful shower. Plenty fluffy white towels were available and if needed, we could get more delivered. Our king bed was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to great bar/restaurants and quaint shops. Loved this hotel and area and definitely will return.

If you want the small beach town feel with a property right on the beach the Springhill is the way to go. I was helped by Emma when I arrived and she was super helpful. Not only did she check me in she also provided several dining recommendations which is important when you arrive hungry from traveling all day. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom which was awesome. We did not have a direct view of the ocean but we were able to see a small portion from our balcony. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on housekeeping as the rooms were not being cleaned due to post COVID-19 operations. The only recommendation I have for the property is to consider cleaning or replacing the carpet. I found it to be quite dirty throughout the property. Especially right now, people will want to see cleanliness and even if the hotel is clean having dirty carpet may not give that illusion and may deter some guests. I would definitely come back to stay at the hotel again.

My ex father in-law was admitted to hospice on 10/08/21 my ex husband and I are very close, he used points at this location as we would Normally stay at The Best Western. The website left out the following fact; Under construction, youth may smoke marijuana at pool with children. Guest are permitted to listen to any music no matter content on any device at pool. Vehicle parking on beach in front of the hotel property 1 bedroom 2 queen bed on first floor no view 90,000 thousand points.
The only thing that was worth being there was 3 employees, which I had there name .

New Smyrna Beach Springhill Suites is located on the beach at the end of popular Flagler Beach. Even though our king suite with partial ocean view had a balcony, the room itself was on the smallish side. Breakfast had many yummy options. We loved being able to park 8n the garage underneath the building, which was easy in and out. The staff was great!

We found the SpringHill Suites was constantly cleaning and requiring /encouraging everyone to wear a face mask 😷 inside the lobby and elevators. Really felt the hotel staff cared very much about their guests well being and were ALL very friendly. We will back next time we’re in the area.

This SpringHill Suites is an excellent place to stay in NSB. It’s location allows you to easily walk to much of what NSB has yo offer along Flagler Avenue. The hotel is nestled in a tight lot just north of Flagler, right where it connects with the Atlantic Avenue.
The hotel is relatively new and has well-appointed and spacious rooms. Staff is friendly and do a really good job of taking care of guests. Parking is $15/night in the garage beneath the hotel (well worth it). There’s a nice bar area and ample complimentary breakfast.
Do not plan on much of a beach view from your room. Not many rooms are beachside, since the building is oriented with its long axis East-West. If you’re hoping for a balcony, get one if the East rooms facing the beach.

Beautiful place! Perfect location! Very clean and well maintained.
The hotel is an oceanfront property and is beside a main Street ( Flagler) which has restaurants and shops. The staff is great people!! Specially Shay from the front desk. He is very kind and helpful. He is one of the most kind persona working in Front Desk of different hotels I have been. Also very nice are Diana and Sandra.
The hotel has entertainment in a vary of hours. In the morning there is a lovely lady; Patty, playing the piano while we take breakfast.
Even though I couldn’t stay Friday night I read in the program of the lobby that they have live music.
The rooms are so nice, modern and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
About the cleanliness…. it is superb in that hotel. We felt really safe while we were traveling on pandemic and everything feels that is disinfected and with the items needed to keep clean like alcohol or gel dispensers.
I really want to congratulate the ones in charge they are doing a great job and all employees that do their best to make guests feel good.

If you like “beach crunchy” this is the hotel for you. We regretted choosing this hotel after seeing the condition of the hallways and our room. Hallway carpets are very worn, stained and fraying. The couch in our room was stained as was the carpet. The walks were scuffed. The bathroom was very small, the shower was ok with good water pressure and hot water but run-down and the water pressure in the tiny sink was merely a trickle. We called for maintenance but were told the sinks were low flow and cannot be adjusted. The sinks are tiny so not only can’t you get a reasonable flow of water, but it slops all over the floor. The room advertised a bar sink in the microwave area but there was none. Although billed as a suite, it’s really one room with a couch and desk area. There’s a sliding glass partition which screens off the desk but not the couch area. So really quite useless. Breakfast was just ok and closed early- 15 minutes before the official ending tine. The pool is small and crowded. The one positive is that it’s right on the beach. There were a lot of spring breakers and families around which made it loud and unruly at times and definitely contributed to the worn-out and sad condition. Staff were nice. Overall, there are better places to stay and this hotel is not up to Marriott standard and needs a major renovation.

The value of this hotel is excellent. The morning breakfast had lots of choices with 3 hot items served each morning. The hotel also has a great and reasonably priced bar and Starbucks counter which is an added bonus. We enjoyed many evenings watching the ocean on the patio with a cocktail or coffee, wish I could describe how relaxing that is in more detail! You cannot beat the location, right on the beach with a pool and patio. Easy walk to shopping, restaurants and more. You dont even need a car, there is so much very close by. The customer service was also excellent and we appreciated the kind and friendly demeanor of Janis who served our breakfast each morning and Joanne at the bar who took the time to make our kids special hot chocolates when it got too cold to stay on the beach. There was also a gentleman who served our drinks in the evening and he was awesome too! Lots of families were staying at the hotel while we were there (it was spring break). The hotel is well insulated and we did not feel disturbed by any noise during our stay. Only disappointment was one of the fire pits outside did not work and the outdoor shower to rinse off feet/body after returning from the beach also were not working. It wasnt a major inconvenience but would have used them if they were available. We hope to stay here again!

I am here now with my husband and 12 year old son and we couldn't be happier. The rooms are very clean and the carpet in our room is fine. My son is very happy with the sofa bed as well. The lobby is so light and bright and the outdoor space is very inviting. The beach is just perfect, as well as the location and proximity to Flagler Ave. And the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We are from the West Coast, but have already discussed when we can come back just to stay at this hotel in this wonderful beach town.
Thank you for the question. Our hotel is not filthy. Our carpet has been hit hard over the last 3 years and we are in process of replacing. If you go to our Facebook page you see our most recent video of the hotel.
