While opinions on value vary, with some guests encountering billing discrepancies, the stylish ambiance and modern decor consistently impress. Hotel's Favorite
Great location, just away from Brickell City Centre but only a 10 minute walk away.
It cost around $20 from Miami airport in Uber and then $15 to the cruise port with Lyft.
There's a Publix supermarket virtually next door for any supplies you may need. It also has a cafe attached which is open for breakfast. There's a decent coffee van in the park in front of the hotel and, of course, you can get coffee and breakfast just off the lobby. There's also a grab and go next to reception. The room has a big comfy bed, a big TV, air con and a coffee machine. The bathroom has a walk in shower and comes with shower gel and shampoo.
The rooftop bar/pool has some great views of Brickell and you get some amazing colours in the high rises after dark. Didn't use the gym as that would just be stupid 😀.
Yes, the train line is near and you can hear it every 5 minutes but it's not a blocker for us
If you're looking for a little bit of chic away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Miami centre then this is a great option. This visit we managed to book an airboat ride on the Everglades with an external provider and we're there within 40 minutes.
We'll be back next September no doubt

This is a newish property located just southwest of the downtown bustle.
It's in a quiet neighborhood but the metrorail tracks are right next to it; the sound of passing trains is persistent but not overbearing.
It's a five-minute walk from the Brickell train station and the (separate) people mover. In fact, a car is not needed because the train connects to the airport.
There is a Publix grocery store and a Walgreen's immediately adjacent.
The guest rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are especially nice.
(There was some countertop chipping away in the guest room, (717) those kinds of items need to be fixed by engineering.)
There is some noise room to room.
I didn't feel that front desk staff worked very hard to assign me a quiet room; it's as if they make no attempt to meet your request.
No one on the housekeeping staff spoke English; there was a complete language barrier.
The pool is on the roof; it is small but adequate but needs to be better maintained and skimmed of hair, etc.
Breakfast was excellent.
I would stay at the property again; I just hope they stay on top of things and listen to guest requests.
Why not a "quiet floor"?

Staying at the Novotel was very enjoyable. The room had a fantastic bay view (floor-to-ceiling windows) and you could tell the rooms were recently renovated. Breakfast was nice and abundant and the waiters/waitresses so polite and thoughtful. It is true, the hotel is located just in front of the metro rails but the noise was minimum. The gym and pool area very well equipped, although I would've liked to be able to stay at the terrace for a bit longer than 10pm (they have time restrictions). There's a Publix nearby, as well as cafés and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
Definitivamente me hospedaría aquí nuevamente.

Hotel location is good, hotel is nice and decent, however, the service level doesn't meet my standard. My first experience with the customer service was when i called the hotel for reservation. I inquired if Novotel will price match as I found a lower price somewhere. The representative was blunt and reluctant to do much. She didn't even ask how much lower i found, she simply asked did the other website state the room type. I didn't understand why did it matter so i asked, she was blunt and said have to be the same room type. But my question was just to ask if you do price match.
I ended up book with other website because I like the brand Novotel. When we arrived, check-in process was ok, room was nice too. Third day, we left and when we came back to our room, the room was not cleaned. I complained to front desk, they checked with housekeeping and said we had our DND sign on, but no we did not. We made sure the sign was not put on. They just said they would refresh the room, give them 10-20 min. I showed my frustration but they didn't offer any drinks as apology. Didn't even tell us politely where to wait.
When we checked out the next day, the lady didn't ask us how's our stay too.

The room was good size, on the smaller side but enough. Good location, not super centric but close enough to the main Brickell attractions and easy access to highway. The pool is nice, but very small, in pictures it looks way bigger. In general, the front desk team was helpful and nice, but the clerks that did our check in and check out were very unpleasant. The clerk that did our check out seemed to be upset for having to assist us, didn’t even say “hello” or “goodbye” and was absolutely rude. The hotel is only offering ONE housekeeping service for stays over 6 nights, which is crazy! They are clearly taking advantage of the current situation to take costs down. Housekeeper could easily do our bedroom at no risk when we are out of the hotel, but they do not even give the option to request it. Overall disappointed, if I didn’t care for hotel service I would have rented an apartment at a lower rate.

Nice hotel located in the Brickell area, near to restaurants, shopping, walkable area. Nice staff, we were told they are not offering housekeeping services due to Covid, but if we needed anything we just call, they clean your room on the 3rd night if you book more than 6. It seems that that is the norm after Covid. We did call and they were right there with more towels and coffee cups. Nice Lavazza coffee machine in the room. The room was spacious and neat. Not too much the view as my room was overlooking the parking but it was ok. Staff very friendly and ready to answer your questions about the area. Very nice rooftop pool (12th floor), bartender very friendly, towels ready to use, music. There was a DJ on Saturday from 2pm to sunset. The swimming pool was heated and seems to be a salt water pool. All facilities were very clean and well maintained. We ordered food at the bar and it came in a nice presentation in a bag, it was fresh and nicely prepared.
A suggestion while they don’t offer housekeeping services, just a small tray with detergent and cleaning wet wipes.
Another very annoying issue was on Sunday night, about 11pm there was so much noise in the adjacent rooms which seems to be occupied by several girls. They were screaming and laughing and maybe possibly drinking in the room. I called reception and complained as I could not sleep and I have to be at the airport at 4am. They said they were sending security. I don’t know if they sent or not as I did not hear anybody saying anything, but they were partying in the room until 1am. And also nobody called me back or mention anything or apologize for the situation.

Everything about this property is what you would expect from a newer established brand four-star hotel. I take little exception to the rooms, the common areas or the overall experience. In fact, I commend them because they offered limited room service during Covid days. I further commend them for having the decency of leaving coffee machines in the rooms as many hotels including five star level ones do not.
The terrible issue guests face at this hotel is noise from Miami’s over ground metro rail system which is directly in front of the hotel. The trains are very loud and the noise comes in abruptly and most annoyingly. It makes getting a good nights sleep even with earplugs rather challenging. It’s too bad they couldn’t do too much to improve their soundproofing.

This hotel is on the outskirt of Brickell thus walking is required to reach City Centre. Because of this, you can find great deals. (Look in Google Maps for example.) There is nothing but the grocery store and hot dog food truck nearby. Walking during the day is ok but at night it gets a bit sketchy. From the airport, you can take the MIA mover to the car rental place, get out, then take the metro rail train one stop, get out / transfer to the other side of the platform, get off at the Brickell station, and walk the rest of the way. No need for a car or parking IF you plan to stay in Brickell. The hotel itself is updated and clean. Very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom door would hit the toilet and not open all the way. Also, for light sleepers, the train is running early AM although, the train is not too loud. I did rent a car for one day and was able to park at the hotel for $25 a night. This is not a bad deal. There is a sketchy parking lot nearby where you can park $20 overnight but the hotel parking is worth the extra $5. Note that Lyft to South beach and back will cost you about $30. The rooftop pool / bar was nice but it was packed and I didn't use it. Overall, its a nice hotel, great deal and pretty good location. If there is not much difference in price to some hotels near city center, I would opt for City Center instead. But you can walk to the Train and MIA Mover to get around pretty easy here. Very Good IMO.

Stayed here recently for a business trip. Unfortunately neighboring hotels were booked. I was less than impressed. The hotel does not let you bring outside food in and eat it in any common areas. We were kicked out of the pool and told we could eat downstairs in the lobby. Went down to the lobby and were told we had to go eat in our rooms. It was ridiculous and so inconvenient. The hotel has one extremely small restaurant with a very minimal menu. So if you have any dietary restrictions, this is not the place to stay. Secondly, if you want to order room service, you may have to call multiple times before someone answers the phone to take your order.
And finally, the sink was clogged in my room and the mini refrigerator did not keep things very cold. Very few hotel amenities, actually...only a gym. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else.

We were there in September and there was no resort fee. The $100 a night was a hold on the credit card which did eventually drop off
I did not see any transportation services available for this hotel. I used Google, typed “allcruisehotels” that led me to their website on transportation to Port of Miami, from hotels in the Brickell/Miami area. For airport transportation to the hotel, there’s the Metrorail station by the Miami International Airport. But I recommend using Lyft or Uber, due to your are carrying luggage with you. It’s a walk from the Brickell station to Novotel Hotel with luggage.
Hello! We do have a mini fridge in the room for soft beverages. For the microwave, we can include one in the room at a surcharge for $15 for the stay.
