I staying at the regency for over 30year every time I go to Miami but this time was totally different with this new management the rooms them was so updated clean the rooms lock has been change the new staff from front desk is so helpful know like many year ago I spoke with the new management the lDy was very pleasant and friendly the pool know is very nice the next step they have to do is start back the buffet breakfast is very important I spoke with some guest from there that was the only concern the breakfast buffet style the variety they use to had but on the other side everything was ok rooms smell clean no cigarette smoking I was there in octuber and return on November 2021 and also on June and retur in July and it was stil good also is hard to get true reservation or booking you have to go true front desk to make your reservation hoping that that wil Chang soon wil surely retur soon thank you faithful guest for a long time…
We booked this hotel last minute after realizing coming off a cruise we’d be without a place to stay until check in at an Airbnb. It was poor planning on our part but when we called and we’re told they had availability we scooped it right up. The check in process was simple and quick and everyone we interacted with was super nice. We would recommend this for anyone staying overnight before taking a flight somewhere.
The Rooms were Clean and the Staff were Friendly and Courteous. Restaurants are within walking distance and delivery of food is available. Note, Parking onsite, but may not be free (inquire on rates prior to travel). My stay was short, so unable to comment on maid service (not needed). I prefer to avoid carpet because of allergies, but that comes at a premium. The rooms were clean and no bad carpet odors. Only 10 minute drive to Downtown Miami.
The hotel is decent but there were ssues with the bar and restaurant. When we booked our reservation we read that breakfast is included or you can pay to have breakfast included. But it isn't. In fact, when we arrived at breakfast the buffet wasn't set up. There wasn't even any coffee. When we spoke with the server he said that this was due to COVID. However, if you read the reviews from other guest you will see that they had a buffet available during the pandemic. The staff members in the restaurant and at the bar were not friendly. I recommend that management improving the working conditions of their employees. Happy employees equals happy customers.

This hotel is embarrassing and an insult to the name “Regency”. It is surprising such a structure, in this condition, is nearby a major US airport such as Miami International. No laundry / dry cleaning service is available. The structure looks like it hasn’t been refurbished since the early 60s of the 20th century. The only photos that still represent the existing condition of the structure today are the ones of the pool, but unfortunately it was closed but I stayed there — or rather, when I checked in and then checked out after half an hour. First time in my life that I change hotel after check-in because of the conditions of the building and the services provided. A special mention goes to the staff, that is kind, proactive and truly at the client’s disposal (not ironic: I mean it). You can tell that they do what they can to compensate the hotel’s conditions, but unfortunately in this case the problem is not the staff: it is the hotel.…
The front desk was very efficient, and the hotel was clean and attractive. My only issue was that I never got the wakeup call I requested upon check-in. And there was no food in the fridge for late check-ins like myself. I have no doubt that once travel is up j, that this hotel will pull a hefty mint.
The hotel is clean and smells really nice. The bed and sheets were very comfortable, clean and smells fresh. We checked-in late at night without any problem. Very close to Miami International Airport with free shuttle.
The staff was very kind, they looked for a transportation for me and family at 3 am (at check out). That was really, really helpful. And the check in was so quickly and we could sleep like babies. Thank you
We needed a hotel for transition. The hotel was friendly but rooms was stuffy and hot. Bathrooms was small and showed was running so slow. The hot water needs adjustment, it was extremely hot for a hotel.
