YVE Hotel Miami emerges as a choice destination for guests eager to explore the city's attractions, thanks to its prime location that many guests find perfect for vibrant nightlife and shopping. While the hotel's unique atmosphere blends style with some dated aspects, opinions on cleanliness and room maintenance vary.
Accommodations are often deemed small and noisy, with the value proposition challenged by extra fees and underwhelming amenities. Despite this, the staff's friendliness is frequently highlighted, even amidst service inconsistencies and elevator delays.

Had a great experience at Yve. It is very conveniently located in downtown Miami. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Some of the rooms offer a great view of the Miami waterfront.

When it comes down to it what is the difference between one hotel with nice rooms (the Yve rooms I get are extremely nice, with great views), in a good location at a good price? The difference is the staff.
Three staff have been there for the 9 years I have been staying there (sometimes as much as twice a month), Jonathan (in sales) and Jose and Yadira on the front desk. The three of them know exactly what I like and that's what I get, plus a lot of extras because I am such a regular guest and we appreciate each other! They are warm and welcoming people and have become friends.
The rooms are great and the cleaning is absolutely top-notch, maintenance is fast and it is a safe area to walk around in at night with a plethora of restaurants and live music until midnight at Bayside across the road. Additionally they have an arrangement with another hotel to use their pool and spa. What's not to like?
Two things. The elevators are tiny and slow. It's an old building there's nowhere to put another one. Up until Jan 2020 the restaurant's breakfast was a great spread on two long buffet-tablesand in the evening the best hamburgers and hummus in Miami (also the best bar manager, Jonathan,). Now the restaurant is owned by another company and it's a very poor breakfast they offer so I won't try it in the evening. But that's not the Yve's fault and it remains my favourite hotel in the US.

Check in time was 4pm due to covid, they were accommodating and let us check in early for a discounted fee. The room was very clean, as soon as we opened the room it smelled of bleach, cant complain about that, everything was tidy. The only thing i can say negatively was that the beds and headboards need a facelift, the headboards were material was rubbed off from heavy use and our beds sunk pretty much after sitting on them. There was also no fridge in the room and the bathroom is very small. It was livable and fine by me, i only came to shower and sleep, but i can see how some of these can be a deal breaker for some. Just something to keep in mind. Staff was very nice and were always available if we needed more towels or assistance with anything. It is right on biscayne and across from bayside marketplace which was convenient when we didnt want to stray too far from our hotel. The Colada restaurant (cuban) is also inside the hotel which was very delicious and opened early (7:30am) compared to other restaurants in the area. The service was also phenominal.

I Chose this hotel because I noticed during the review it said it was walking distance to many shops and restaurants. However upon checking in I was greeted properly but when I get to my floor the door was cracked open like the lock was sticking out but the door was open and that was just unacceptable to me. I informed the front desk and security said that she would go check and see what was going on. In my mind I am thinking I don't care who checks I'm not staying in that room because for one I don't know if someone is in there hiding somewhere two in my eyes it cannot be verified that the room was actually clean and with this pandemic going on I do not have time for that. I went downstairs and the front desk immediately gave me another room. The room view was nice and thats is about it. This is an old hotel the carpet look like it had not been vacuum there was a stain on the side of the bed the bathroom looks really old I just did not feel very clean. During this pandemic I always bring my own Lysol and spray around my room to help cut down on germs. But at this hotel room I feel was poorly cleaned. After I use the toilet I noticed that something was on a towel I took a picture of it and upon closer review it appears like it was a piece of rice. After seeing this I decided there's no way in the world that I would be showering here. Luckily I brought my own towels. I did not feel that the hotel was clean enough for me to sleep under the covers so I just pulled back my covers and slept on top. I did not go down to the front desk because I did not want to go through any hassle I believe every room is probably is dirty is mines is. I noticed when I reserve the room that it said that the price was lower than it usually is. In my mind regardless of the pandemic I think this is the type a hotel that would run about $75 a night this is what I think of this hotel. Very low end and filthy .

We booked this room because it seemed a reasonable price and location(which is great).
But it is not worth it for what you get. The rooms are small, no fridge, no microwave. The restrooms were so small, I could literally wash my hands sitting on the toilet. The rack is also falling off and the soap pumps easily fell out of the rack.
There is also no good parking options. In front of the building is a public parking lot that has a limit of 8 hrs a Dayan starts at $10 an hour. The next best option(or so I thought) is a parking building next door which they have a voucher for
They gave us a voucher for $25 24 hr parking at the closest garage(instead of $30).
But they failed to mention that they would charge not per day, but every time you exit. They also failed to mention that there is a $10 a day(still by enter and exit) parking a block away(which I’m glad we found).
They parking lot also charged us $24 which is a dollar less WITHOUT using their parking voucher. So idk what deal they were supposed to be giving us?
This isn’t even the main issue.
The main issue comes on our second day we have to drive back home to north Florida because an emergency situation. My mom can’t drive there by herself, that’s why I have to drive back and forth. We hurry and leave first thing in the morning after I pick my mom up from her job here. In our hurry we leave the keycard behind. After handling our situation and driving for 10 hrs, we get back exhausted. I drop my mom back off at her job and head back to the hotel. I can’t find the key so I ask the front desk hoping that I might have dropped it on the way out. She say she hasn’t seen any, but she may be able to replace it for me and asks for my id. I give her my id and she says my name isn’t on the reservation. Even though me and my mom have the same last name, address on our id and look the same. So I ask her if she could call her and request a key and she say no she’s have to be there in person to get a new key. I can’t get in contact with my mom because she’s working.
So I go back to the parking lot, pay to exit. Believing this is my last option before I have to pay for another room for the night, I leave all the way back to coral gables to see if my mom has her key at her job. I get in contact with her on the way and she say she left hers in the room as well. She said she’ll try and call them to see if they could put my name on the reservation. So she calls and they agree, so I turn back around and get my key. And while I’m glad I finally got my key, they could have just let me know that she could call and add me, that way I could just wait in my car for her to call back instead of driving all the way to coral gables, but instead she insisted that she be there in person.

Valet Parking and check in were a breeze when we checked in on Jan 5. Upon arrive of room 1104, we noticed a strong odor but thought maybe our room had just been cleaned as it smelled like bleach. We left the hotel to go do touristy things. Upon arrival back at our room around midnight, the odor was much worse and smelled like straight bleach. We decided to just go to bed since it was so late. Throughout the night, the chemical smell was so extreme that my daughter and I woke up several times with irritated throat and burning in the eyes. I’m guessing they clean the room of bleach and also wash the sheets in straight bleach as the sheets are so stiff and chemical smelling. I mentioned this all at checkout the next day, but the lady at the desk did not care one bit. She completely ignored me when I told her of the significant issues. I emailed the hotel after I checked out and to this day still have not received a response. To me, this is horrible customer service and I absolutely will not be returning.
Pros of VYE:
• Right across the street from Bayfront Park and Bayside Marketplace. The Marketplace area has tons of shops and restaurants. A lot of the charters go out of there.
Negatives of VYE:
• Extremely slow elevators
• Paper thin walls between hotel rooms. You can hear people next door having normal conversations.
• Horrible chemical smell in rooms and bedding.
• Cost to park is outrageous! $71.82 to park from 3pm to 7am the next morning.

This hotel is ok if you’re on a one night business trip. If it’s that quick, you won’t miss what’s lacking. But if you’re staying for 5 nights, which we did, well then what’s missing is glaring.
We were in room 306, home of the world’s smallest bathroom. You had to remember to close the toilet lid to keep things like washcloths from falling off the towel rack and into the toilet. No refrigerator. No DRAWERS. No plug near a mirror outside the bathroom so that a hairdryer or flat iron could be used. (The outlets in the room were very strange.) The deep closet where the rack and safe were located had a door that slammed shut when you went into the closet, where you need to be a contortionist to reach in and also keep that door open (no light inside!). And there’s an inconvenient valet parking system with only one valet, so you couldn’t get your car keys, even if the car was sitting right there as the valet was usually on his way to get another car.
My bed was particularly uncomfortable, with a V-shaped indentation in the mattress. See the photo.
The best thing I can say is that there’s a little Cuban restaurant around the corner with great Cuban coffee and some fresh made juices. It’s called Manolo & Rene, and they had me hooked. They’re open 24/7. There are some other good restaurants nearby, such as Cvi.che 105, and it’s across from Bayside.
If you’re going to Miami for a night, this will suffice. My friend, who I accompanied, had a class nearby. But with all the places to stay in Miami to choose from, I’d look elsewhere.

My girlfriends & I took our annual girls trip & decided to stay here. Based off the reviews, I should have opted out but I try not to base my experience off other people’s opinion. I should have, because this hotel was disappointing. The rooms were not as cleaned as I would have preferred; especially with COVID-19. They advertised that rooms would have masks, sanitizer & wipes, none of these were provided in our rooms. The bathroom was extremely small & it was very difficult trying to get ready everyday, let alone using the toilet. We stayed 3 nights & the hotel never had wash towels available. Carpet was dirty, pillow cases were dirty, one of the chairs in the room broke, & shower curtain should have been changed. Also, if you are in a hurry to get somewhere...take the stairs, the elevators are extremely slow. The only positive things I can say about the YVE is that it was downtown which made it convenient to get to & from, the security was on point with making guests feel safe & the lobby was nice.
Overall, it was very disappointing & not worth the price they charge per night.

If you are looking for a friendly, modern hotel with easy access to the free trolley and in a safe area, all for a great value, look no further. With early luggage drop, a nice bar, clean rooms and helpful staff, this hotel is just perfect for the traveller just coming off a cruise. In fact you can grab the free trolley across the street and get just about anywhere. If you are travelling light, there is even easy access to the monorail which I believe goes to the airport. There were free bottles of water in our room, coupons for two free drinks in the bar and even the option to get into your room early ($25 fee). All in all a very good experience and we will stay again if we are in Miami in the future.

Cute and boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Miami. There are sanitizer stations throughout hotel and employees are always on hand if you need any help. Thank you to Aymin who was so welcoming to my family and I. We came down to celebrate my sons and I birthday. She booked Jetski rentals and took a boat and helicopter ride and the views were wow!! Breakfast and lunch at colada was delicious, in the night Brickell and bayside looked beautiful and nightlife was always popping. The staff were really nice and what made our stay extra special. Can’t wait to come back to Miami!

They had one when we were there in December but Lyft ended up being cheaper by a few dollars.
They did not offer any airport shuttle to the pier when we stayed this past July... but it was like a $5-7 Uber/lyft ride..... then from the pier to the MIA Airport our cruise "Virgin" had shuttles for $10/pp
They do have coffee maker in the room. The Grill was open in the morning but I had the impression it was for paid breakfast. We had lunch there the day before and it was quite good. There is a great little Cuban cafe open 24 hrs right behind the hotel. One block back from Biscayne Blvd. We were there end of March.
Yes, the table is in the lobby and it is super easy to do. I think its $10 a person.
