Loved the location within walking distance of Pier 5 and the cruise terminals. The free Metrorail has two stop locations one right next door and the other half a block north. They offer discounts for the parking garage next door to the north of this location. You can buy a multi day parking pass for $24 a day, which is the best deal for in&out parking near this location.

Well this was a lovely surprise! After reviewing hotels in the area I chose CitizenM because it had good reviews and the rooms are soundproofed.
My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. We had booked a standard room.
We arrived very early (9.30 am) and intended to leave our luggage and go out and come back at check-in time BUT our room was ready. That was the start of a great stay.
I then enquired about the room as I knew that the beds are up against a wall which makes it difficult for one person to get out. I asked if there was a room with access to the bed both sides. The fabulous staff member moved us to an access room.
The room was fabulous. King bed, comfortable, crisp clean sheets, great pillows. Rang for more coat hangers - delivered straight away.
Shower fabulous, both fixed and hand shower (might be as it was access room).
Loved the iPad controls for lights, blinds, TV.
My only criticism is that there is no fridge in the room ☹️
Downstairs lobby is vibrant. There’s always people relaxing, having a drink. The aesthetics are amazing. There’s a business area.
The buffet breakfast was a steal at $US21 including a specialty coffee. However, I was late for breakfast and things had not been replenished. No pastries and no avocado - not the end of the world but as a vegetarian it limited my options.
The best part is that the staff actually look like they enjoy their jobs! Mostly younger and very attentive.
I would recommend this hotel and I’d certainly stay again.

So very grateful to the staff for allowing us to check in a little early. We were able to put our luggage in the room and then park the car in the garage right around the corner. It was about a 2-3 minute walk back to the hotel from the garage. The hotel has a very modern, contemporary vibe to it. Very impressive lobby with so many different seating areas for work or socializing. There are even a couple of Mac’s available to use if needed. The room is cute, albeit a little small, but we knew that going in. The use of technology in the room is innovative. You can control the lights, TV, find local restaurant suggestions, and adjust the temperature, blinds and curtains in the room all from an iPad. There is even mood lighting!! What would also be cool is if you could have some options for sounds, like meditation music or white noise from the iPad because sounds from the street or hallway can be heard so easily because it’s so quiet in the room. We could even hear the toilet above us flushing. So we just turned on white noise from our phone to try to drown out the sound.
We enjoyed the happy hour on the rooftop pool, which is from 4-7pm. The pool was lovely and there was plenty of seating both in the sun and shade for many couples. The only downside was the choice of music at the pool. It was all hip-hop/rap. It would have been nice to have a more diverse selection sprinkled in with the expletives of the rap.
We did have dinner on-site at the bar and the pizza, beef empanadas and rosemary fries were fantastic. We hung out with a couple from Texas and watched a football game with them.
Our morning started early, since we had to get to the airport by 8:30. Jasmine at the bar was awesome helping us get breakfast and coffee. She was so kind and as we talked I could tell she loves her job. The options for food were great! Eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, potatoes, yogurt and berries, make your own avocado toast, fresh fruit, and pastries. Jasmine even made me an awesome mocha latte! Exactly what I needed for this early morning.
Everything there was clean, fresh, top notch. The staff were helpful and courteous. We would recommend and would stay again.

There are much better value hotels than this. I spent $6,500 and that didn’t even include breakfast which cost me $24.40 per day which was microwaved with rubber eggs and very average (slow) coffee. The fact that things are broken in the hotel, like the entry key after 12 midnight, which meant I had to bang on the door for 10 minutes or the equipment in the gym, means this place is really shabby and not up to the standards they charge the extortionate prices for. However, the thing that grinds my gears the most is the slack cleaning services. They only clean rooms once every three days and have this system that encourages residents to not have their rooms cleaned which reduces the hours the (Spanish speaking) cleaners get paid. Meanwhile, they give a small portion of those savings to charity and somehow manage to claim the moral high ground of how they are such a fantastic company, while clearly making massive additional revenues from bad service and treating their staff poorly. Every time I tried to use the cleaning service out of the allocated 3 x days, there was always some ridiculous issue. I come to Miami every few months and will never come to this hotel ever again as the rooms are tiny, the prices are crazy and the staff are seriously lack lustre.

This is gem in the heart of the city. Great for business, pleasure and family travel. The breakfast is amazing, nice lounges, and great rooftop amenties including a gym, pool and bar. Features great co-working spaces and cool art througout the premises. I most enjoyed lounge and work areas, the breakfast with surcharge, the location right next to the Metro mover and walkable to Bayside and the Kaceya Arena. I also really enjoyed personalizing my room experience with the ipad-media, curtains, room temperature, lighting, etc. My only advice would be to ensure an option to adjust air conditioner to off when it is 'colder' in Miami and also to ensure staff are aware that kids 10 and under eat/stay free according to your website. Thanks!

The compact design may be their selling point, but the room was small for the price. It may be inevitable considering the high prices in the US these days, but it is difficult to walk around the room when you open your suitcase. The hotel is located right in front of the Kaseya Center, the home of the Miami Heat, so you don't feel unsafe walking around at night. The breakfast buffet did not have many varieties. It gives the impression of a casual hotel.

The hotel has a super location, close to everything for business and tourism, the hotel is very disruptive in what it offers, it is highly technological from check-in with ATM-type terminals, the rooms have a tablet to control, the light , the curtains, the TV, etc.
But the bad thing is that the bathroom and the bedroom are super small. The pool 10/10 with a spectacular view.

Eventhough this hotel was extremely expensive, we had to do our check-in on automated machines - no service at all.
The hotel room was so tiny that there was no space between the bed an the room. Therefor my partner had to crawl overy my to get in and out of the bed.
Furthermore there is no space to put two medium bags and the bathroom is almost transparent and glass - a trend we (and many other guests) really got to hate in hotel design.
Right in front is the metromover so the room is very noise and the soundproofing is terrible.
We would not stay here again and we only gave two stars because the room was clean.

We loved staying at this hotel. We would highly recommend choosing the buffet breakfast which had great selections, including bottomless barista coffee at a great price. The room was small but perfectly sized for a couple and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Good location with easy access to alot of the best things to do in Maimi. The rooftop bar is nice with a heated pool. The gym is small but nicely designed. The beds are extremely comfy!
Prepare yourself for some not so friendly staff. One team member on reception actually sighed & rolled her eyes at me when I asked where I could find an iron. Rooms are nice but no kettle, iron or basic amenities. The room was also very dusty & not that clean. I had to wipe surfaces myself because they were so dirty. Great hotel to be in if you don't have to be there that much.
