The hotel was in the perfect location for me. My goal was to have a nice, clean hotel with an airport shuttle and not to far from downtown Miami. This hotel provided all of that plus great customer service! When I'm back in town I would definitely stay at this property again!

Great location next to the airport on what appears to be a little island with a beautiful view if you have a flight in and out of Miami super clean and friendly hotel one of the better Hilton family brands. As a Hilton honor gold member and a member of the Hilton I can make a better program five star location and staff I was greeted by Stephanie immediately gave me two bags of waters and snacks and upgraded me to a family two-bedroom room when she heard I was picking up my fiance and daughter at the airport. Pays to be a Hilton family member!

What stood out the most was the lack of concern or care for guests from hotel employees other than a few good team members at the front desk.
No one we passed ever interacted with us. At one point we tried to leave our room to get to the elevators and were blocked halfway down the hallway by two housekeeping carts. We tried moving them but they wouldn’t move. Called out for employees to come and move them (they were in the room cleaning) and when they came out the acted as if WE had inconvenienced them. On our last day as we were leaving the room with our luggage the team member in the hallway was very busy to note our room number so they could begin cleaning and said nothing to us to thank us for staying or even “good morning.” We just didn’t feel welcomed. Simple greetings would go a long way and not cost $1.
Free breakfast was limited (provided bagels and pancakes but no butter was available for example) due to Covid and there was only a small sundry store by the front desk. No other food options were available outside of delivery.

Stayed one night pre-cruise after flying in to MIA.
Positives. Good location close to MIA and Cruise port, and in a good neighbourhood. We had a spacious suite on the ground floor (103) away from airport and road noise and facing the water. Large comfortable bed so together with no noise we had good sleep. Serve yourself breakfast on plastic plates/cutlery is limited but adequiet.
Negatives. Most importantly that information on the website about the hotel and amenities is very limited, e.g. no dining times given, scant information on shuttle bus and where/when to pick it up at MIA, implies shuttle bus available “free” to the cruise port but again no information or times (and it turns out it is provided by a third party for a fee at random set times). This could be forgiven if the hotel could be contacted directly to answer questions, however, it is almost impossible to make contact as, once again the few options available are well hidden in the small print. I did find a way of sending a message through Revolut (app I used to book) but this went unanswered. In the event we ended up exiting arrivals MIA on the hour, and assumed by the time we searched with our bags in tow for the pick up we would be too late, so we took an Uber for $23.50. Check-in slow as only on receptionist, not very helpful, on duty. The room also suffered from defects that should have spotted and rectified e.g. 2 ring electric hotplates only 1 working, Basin tap almost impossible to operate and only delivered a dribble, lights not working.
All the negatives above could be easily rectified at little expense and would improve the suitability of the hotel no end, making it a good place to layover between flight and cruise. However, as it stands I will not be using this hotel again. There are plenty of alternatives.

Although we didn’t arrive until 9PM, our room was not ready even by that late check-in time. The beds were some of the firmest we’ve ever encountered and prevented us from sleeping. The airport shuttle was not in operation. The front desk staff was not helpful and appeared unfriendly to the other customers, especially those of color. I overheard another customer complaining that her room had not been cleaned all day. Instead of fixing that, the front desk staff simply handed her a pile of sheets to make the bed herself.

While this hotel has a great location and spectacular view of planes taking off, you could hear them as if you were standing beside the runway. I am unsure whether it was a lack of insulation around the windows or what, but we could hear the planes throughout the night. The staff was nice, but I am frustrated that they gave us a room on the airport side of the hotel when I specifically mentioned that me and my wife are light sleeps. Also, they gave us faulty information about proximity of nearby restaurants (telling us it was a short walk, when it would have taken 30 minutes easily, had we not Uber'd). The room seemed dated, in need of a renovation. Was it fine, sure, but all in all, we will opt for somewhere else the next time we come in for a night before a cruise departing from the port of Miami.

I realise this hotel is close to the airport, no doubt one of its benefits however if the room is opposite a runway of an international airport then you make sure the room has sufficient sound proofing so people can sleep.
Also when you pay $300 per night then you expect to have somewhere to sit to have your breakfast not stand up and eat it and you don’t expect to eat off a foam plate with plastic knives and forks. They have seating for about 20 people. It looked like the hotel was never designed with breakfast in mind because you sit in the lobby where people wait for taxis and checkin. When I raised it with the staff I got “sorry about that, anyway your bill is”. Sounds like they were used to it. On the plus side the room was clean and a reasonable standard.
It is a very underwhelming hotel for the money they charge and I won’t be recommending it on any of my reviews or staying there again.

Having arrived at the hotel mid-afternoon after finally locating the shuttle (which based on other passengers had not been to the airport in the last hour) we arrived at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. Myself and my partner were then advised that we did not have a reservation and we were at the wrong hotel, only after showing them the confirmation email did they relent and advise that they had not processed the reservation.
40 minutes after arrival I was handed a room key for a room that when I went up had not been processed by housekeeping and so then we had to return to the front desk to wait a further 20 minutes for a clean room with fresh towels.
The entire process from arrival at the hotel to entering our room was 65 minutes which is not acceptable in my opinion.
The room itself although spacious was tired and in need of a deep clean, the products in the bathroom were good quality and the location is close to the airport.
40 minutes after arrival I was handed a room key for a room that when I went up had not been processed by housekeeping and so then we had to return to the front desk to wait a further 20 minutes for a clean room with fresh towels.

Not a person to complain, but this have hit the spot. Lets start with the conditions of the hotel, the carpets are rundown and stained really bad, the elevator had an issue where it would go up and down and never reach the floor right away. The parking lot was full of trash and people smoking pot in the cars. The hallway smelled like a cheap county carnival mix with marijuana, had me sick all night. The rooms were cleam half fast, chair cushions stained, the char arm fabric ripped, inly 2 towels for a 6 guest room, and if need more, need to go all the way to the first floor. The kids 2 coil stove, wont heat up and there was not even ,dish soap ti wash any of the dishes…..truly won’t stay here again… now take in mind that the front desk staff was nice and I am sure this is a management issue

Stayed her previously multiple times and stayed this year again before and after a cruise.
Additional food options (Starbucks, Panda express, chipotle etc.) on short walking distance have become available in a new developed strip. A bit further- and still on walking distance- there is a Publix supermarket, Burlington store, pharamcies (Wallgreen & CVS) and some more food options ( Burger King, Wendy’s, Pollo Tropical, First Watch etc.). Also you can order food, there are flyers of the order option in the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle bus service to the airport. You have to call them and tell them which pickup zone at the ground floor you are staying and they come and pick you up. In the early hours the shuttle bus is not running, but hotel arranges their taxi and pays for the cost. In short this is an ideal airport hotel. Adjacent to Hotel there is a Tru ( by Hilton), while a Hilton, Hyatt house, a Hampton Inn and Pullman airport hotel area nearby.
Usd 15 / day for vehicle parking has to be paid via PMC pay by phone. Room service cleaning is not done daily and on request (which wasn’t used the case in pre-Covid times). The hot tub has been removed and hotel now only has a swimming pool looking around the blue lagoon lake at the south side of the building. The parking side at the west side has an awkward smell coming from the lagoon.
Rooms are spacious and there is a sofa bed. Linens for the sofa bed I needed to take at lobby both times, since there was none in the room. I stayed on 2nd floor both times, close to the laundry. Rooms had no safe, but Staff told me that rooms at floor 6 and higher have a safe. Suction vent above toilet wasn’t functioning at the 1st stay but maintenance staff quickly came to fix it when I informed the lobby (appeared there was no vent in it, my guess is someone toke it).
Complimentary hot breakfast is good, but is available only until 9:00 am (from 6). Hotel is clean and everything is functioning well.

If you are landing in Ft lauderdale, why do you take a hotel at Miami airport?
Take a Uber or Lyft to the hotel. It will cost $$$ since it is 25 miles distance.
Alternative is take the tri-rail from Ft Lauderdale to Miami airport and there call the hotel to pick you up at Miami airoirt with their free shuttle bus. This takes longer, but can be cheaper depending on the size of the group.
We have a complimentary airport shuttle running from 7am to 9 pm daily.
