Mello was super helpful and so friendly! He helped with early check in and gave us all the info we needed. The room was great and although there was only two of us, there was definitely enough space for 3-4 people.

This hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy upscale Brickell shopping and nightlife or walk to Bayfront park. There is a people mover, a 7-11, and Dunckin Donuts steps away. We walked to and from Bayfront Park for three nights very late at night and felt safe. In fact, it seemed there were more Lamborghinis and Ferraris out at night than homeless on the streets. We felt very safe in this neighborhood.
We felt very comfy in hotel. We found the most amazing staff, Peter, who made us feel so welcomed no matter the time, 2am or 9am he was so friendly and accommodating.
But the most comfy thing about the Hotel Indigo is the bed. Oh my goodness, the bed felt heavenly. The air conditioning in the room worked wonderfully and the mini fridge and full blackout shades made the stay wonderful. While it would have been nice to have a microwave, it was great that the room had plenty of charging ports and a wireless charging station by the heavenly bed.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to seeing Peter Lopez again!

We stayed at Hotel Indigo for 5 days in May, and we really can't complain about a single thing. Peter, who checked us in, was really very gracious and helpful throughout our stay with any questions we had. We were able to upgrade our room at check in based on our IHG status. The rooms were clean, bright and had everything we needed and everything was working properly. The breakfast was better than usual for similar hotels and the entire staff was accommodating and helpful. Also, we found that all of the things that Brickell has to offer are just a block or 2 from the hotel. We thought this was a great deal for Miami Brickell and we look forward to staying there ofte. Looking at some of the earlier reviews, it seems like this hotel might have had a bit of a rocky start, but it seemed to us that they took earlier comments seriously and were operating at a very high standard of care by the time we got there. Thanks again to Peter for making our stay so pleasant. See you soon.

Extremely disappointed with the management and staff at this hotel. Have stayed here twice before in the last 2 months and the construction noise was a serious problem. Aside from that the property was semi decent. This review is specifically for whomever the manager is of this location and the lack of consideration for their customers. Last night at 10:17pm a one night reservation was booked via expedia app by mistake. I called expedia less than 5 minutes after to attempt to quickly fix the accidental booking and within 10 minutes, had an expedia rep on the line. By 10:35pm she called and emailed the property stating this reservation was made by mistake and asked for it to be canceled. Unfortunately no one answered the hotels phone (since I presume it was after hours) but it’s strange a front desk associate would not be there to still answer a call. This morning expedia reached out to the hotel via phone again to try and resolve this since we are not even in Miami to stay at the hotel and instead of being decent people they refused to even try to understand what happened and just said sorry nope not refunding without a care in the world. Granted this was booked by mistake and an email was sent to the property within 15 minutes after the booking… you would think they would clearly see this was an accident and refund the room. The lack of care or consideration for their repeat customers is disappointing and they’ve lost our business.

Hi Roving04230532719, Thank you for looping us into your concern with the booking error made through expedia. I understand they tried to immediately correct their mistake after making the reservation, but no one was available at the desk at that time. I also regard your comment when they called the next day to fix this, but the reservation was not cancelled and the refund request was declined. I read that you've been a regular guest, and you had an uncomfortable stay on your last visit due to the noise from a construction. This is definitely not the kind of experience we take pride in. I'd like to raise this matter with our management team, and I sent also sent you a private message to discuss this further. I know these made you felt to most likely come back. I hope to get a chance to turn things differently, as we promise to offer our true hospitality. Sincerely, Jeraldine R. Case Manager IHG Service

IHG has been trying to entice me away from Hilton for some time so I decided to try their new Indigo property in Miami. What a disaster. The hot water took 10 to 15 minutes to heat up before I could take a shower. An incredible waste of water! You could hear the pipes in the building anytime someone ran their water. The window shade was broken and no one every bothered to fix it so my room was constantly light from the outside. And this is a brand new property! When I checked out no one bothered to apologize or offer compensation when I brought up their issues once again

Back to Hilton I go.

We chose this hotel because it was SUPPOSE to be new.

Before I arrived in this state, this hotel already took money out my account for the 1st day stay. I did not even get on my flight or even check in. The money was taken at 8am. In all my years of staying at hotels NO hotel has ever charged your card before you get there.

Upon arrival I checked in and asked if they can send someone to change the linen. I was told the linen was already changed. ( So that was a no).
I get to the room the room was clean, BUT pulled the sheets back and found hair on the sheets. ( this is why I wanted the linen changed). The front desk did send linen for me to change the sheets.

There was no ice machine on the floor I was staying on. We had to go to another floor.

The shower- We had to put down multiple towels down outside of the shower. The water leaks out the shower heavily.

There was not even a microwave onsite if you did not want to eat at the restaurant. This hotel should at least out a Microwave on the first floor.

There is Valet Parking and there is parking outside if you download the app to pay. The valet said you will get a ticket if you park outside- which was a lie.

The restaurant inside the hotel is very very expensive to eat at, the portions are truly kid portions- not worth it.

Let this place be the last place to stay. staff was nice but it needs a lot of improvement

Hi MrsBronxT, It's a pleasure hosting your stay. I am glad you are pleased with our clean rooms and hospitable staff service. We stayed true to the strengths that our guests expect and value. I read your dismay about the unavailability of an ice machine and the microwave. I also regard your feedback about the parking and the food servings, MrsBronxT. I understand this is not the way how you imagined your stay at our new hotel. I am sorry for the lapses encountered. I would like to thank you for highlighting this for us so that we can address this shortfall. Trust that I have shared your comments with our hotel management, I am positive they will make the necessary adjustments to improve in these areas. Until your next neighborhood story, I hope that we remain to be your dependable choice for your future travels. Always, Jeraldine R. Case Manager IHG Service

We encountered too many issues at this hotel. The only positive thing is the location, but I wish we would have stayed at the Aloft next door instead.

Our suite was giant and spacious, but the quality just isn't there for a new hotel… the balcony tiles are already cracked and water is accumulating under them. The balcony door does not seal completely. Active construction site to the south of the hotel. Some spots of the room were not so clean. Curtains are really heavy and not so obvious.

Our sink/shower had no hot water the first night. Called the front desk who said to run the water for a few minutes… nope, nothing! Cold showers for us it is! We asked for help at the front desk on our way out the next morning… returned at 5pm and still no hot water (housekeeping had not passed either by the way). It took more followups with the front desk to fix the issue. Really don’t appreciate having to coordinate this during our vacation.

The second big issue was being overcharged. I didn't pick up the invoice while checking out and was surprised to be charged more than the quoted amount. We didnt use any of the services/dining.. so it just doesn't make sense. The ihg application does not allow to access the invoice for some reason and after multiple emails and messages left with the hotel, they never provided the invoice or answered. I feel ripped off.

I conclude they charged us 3 times for the valet parking for a 2 night stay. I arrived on a Saturday at 4 and checked out on the Monday at 10am. Thats 2 nights (less than 48 hrs) so I expected to only be charged twice. What a poor customer service!

It really didnt meet the minimum expectations. I cant recommend this place and will avoid IHG hotels in the future.

Hello Humphriesrhino, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing your experience with the accommodation. We work very hard to ensure our facilities and service are superior and we strive to be the best Hotel Indigo around, but I'm sorry to leave you dissatisfied because of the balcony condition, unavailable hot water, valet charge and shortcomings in customer service. I know that this can be upsetting especially when your trip was supposed to be a relaxing one. I have shared your comments to our hotel management to address this immediately and I am confident they will take steps so this doesn’t happen again. You may also reach out to our team at 305 860 3874 for further assistance with the charges. Despite some of the services not meeting your expectations, I hope you choose IHG still on your future travels. Sincerely, Jenilyn J. Case Manager IHGService

Don’t waste your time here, there are better hotels with honest, courteous, and respectful staff. They charge your card in advance even if you book on the ihg app under book now pay later. Well, they only charge certain groups in advance. They don’t respond to emails. They challenge and talk over you if you have concerns, even the hotel manager or shall I say shift manager. They overcharge you for food and argue when you ask to be properly charged for those items. Pay attention to your reservation because they will try to do a switch a roo on your room. There is no use complaining to customer care, they are useless. If you have a problem just take them to court!!! This hotel doesn’t even deserve one star!!!

Check in was easy and the staff arranged for us to check in 3 hours beforehand rather than leave our bags with reception. We even got an upgrade. Service was impeccable! Jewell looked after us each time we went for breakfast, being the epitome of American service that we hear is the hallmark of American hospitality. Drinks at the bar were more than generous and well priced; dispelling the myth all hotel bars mark up considerably. Great view and positioning of the pool! Perfect water temp! Great location within walking distance to Brickell shopping, the PeopleMover and the Metroline. It just confirmed to us it was a wise decision to change our hotel from Ft Lauderdale to Miami! Thank you for everything Mark & Keith

Apparently, a recently inaugurated facility that was left unattended by professionals, being one only trainee left alone "taking care" of guests on December 25 and on December 26, 2021. The inexperienced trainee wasn't able to identify rooms in the property and hardly was able to handle the hotel reservation system. A complete disaster. Asked to a room far from elevators or ice machines, I was given a room across the elevator hall and with a huge noisy ice machine and a connecting door that wasn't filtering the other guest noises. After realizing the situation, I went to the front desk and waited for a long time for the single trainee check in all the people in line. Pathetic. When I had my time, the young trainee started to panic and just informed she didn't know the hotel and had to call someone. After waiting and assisting stressed person, I just gave up. Next day, I asked to coffee pods since the room wasn't cleaned, and another unfortunate trainee wasn't able to give me any coffee, saying she was unaware of the place or where to get coffee, however at 7:30 am this naive well intended yet unprofessional person called my room asking to deliver the coffee. I was hoping to get up a bit later. When checking out, I asked to speak with the manager that was surprised how the hotel was left alone to one trainee twice in a row and more surprised to learn what happened. Surely a well-informed professional managing in a multi-million dollars investment that never bothered to answer my e-mails with relevant information or honor his commitment.
Being a priority club member of IHG, this was my first and last experience at an Indigo Hotel. The rooms are good and spacious enough, although the heavy sliding bathroom door is an engineering disgrace. The bathroom offers serious conception errors; shower floods the bathroom floor due to lack of adequate sealing and the overall design attempt is technically a disgrace, worthy of the front desk trainees. The parking is only valet, with elevator access to the main entrance.

See hotel website for information under Parking and Transportation. The answer to both questions is "no." This is not an airport adjacent hotel, nor is it a 5 star. Transportation to and from will always be your responsibility. Miami traffic is quite busy, so shuttle services for free are usually not offered at most hotels if you have to get on a major highway (which in this case you do). They do, however, offer valet parking if you have a car.
