Nestled in the vibrant heart of Miami, the Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami wins over guests with its comfortable ambiance and panoramic views. Its cleanliness and comprehensive amenities, including a heated pool and diverse dining options, receive high marks from visitors.
While the hotel's service and spacious rooms are generally praised, some guests have encountered inconveniences with room upkeep and responsiveness to requests. The prime location is a standout feature, though issues with billing and value for money have been noted by several travelers.

Hotel's Favorite
This is a relative new four star hotel in Brickell business district. The location cannot be beat if you want to be in Brickell area. Property is well managed with courteous staff who are eager to help. Nice roof top pool which is larger than average for a hotel of its size. Be sure to book or request a room with nice bay view.

Everything about this facility was spectacular, from the hot tub, heated pool, gym, restaurant, valet, location, staff hospitality and the room was spectacular for setting up and doing Zoom meetings and getting work done. I loved that i could connect to my Netflix, the electrical outlets, usb hubs and mini lites were abundant. The patio was massive with the Bay view. and the bathroom was incredable with a shower head and a fixed shower even had a wooden bench to sit on while taking some steam. 4STARS without a doubt!!!

We booked two queen bay view rooms for four nights at the end of July.
Pros:
Great view over the bay from our rooms.
Excellent breakfast which also catered for vegans.
Helpful, polite & obliging staff.
Nice large bathrooms with great showers.
Fantastic pool on the roof.
Excellent, safe location near to good restaurants & shops.
Cons:
Room servicing could be much improved - the beds were not made properly - the bottom sheets were very crinkled underneath.
Fresh towels had to be requested daily otherwise they were changed every three days.
Extra charges were taken from my card after check out but the manager very quickly issued an apology and a refund.

My friends and I checked in and were given a sheet of paper that laid out all of the hotels covid policies as well as hours of operations for all of its features (gym, pool etc.).
When we went to use the pool, we were shocked to see that there was no water and it was currently under construction! We went to the lobby to see what was going on, as the paper with the hotel amenities and covid policies did not mention anything about the pool being closed (neither did their website). The receptionist told us that someone should have notified me during check-in (they did not) and told us that the pool for hotel residents were available to use. It was a fraction of the size of the pool for hotel guests, so we were extremely disappointed.
For room cleaning, I had called housekeeping and asked for our bedsheets to be changed as there were some stains on them. When we got back to our rooms in the afternoon, the beds had been made, but the sheets were the same as the day before with the same stains! I called housekeeping again asking for someone to come and change them, which they said they would do straight away. 2 hours later, no one came. I called again, and the person who answered told me that they had no clean sheets available and would be able to change them the following morning. What kind of hotel doesn’t have clean sheets available?!
To make things worse, when I got my hotel bill at the end of my stay, I noticed that I was charged for two nights of valet parking. We didn’t bring a car so this was clearly a mistake on their end.
Bottom line: there are much nicer hotels in Brickell to choose from. Would not stay here again.

Be aware that property does not have parking space, it only offers valet service for $41 a night. There is also a $100 deposit required per night, this begins to add up when you spend 4-5 day at this property.
The room seemed dated and could be better maintained. The pillows were extremely hard and heavy. Walls are thin and music can be heard from cleaning crews in the morning. The front staff was not as courteous as one would expect on a property of this level.
Pool is really nice and location is close to downtown restaurants. The pool is shared with an adjacent property, might get crowded.
Overall, we would probably look for a different hotel in the area.

By far, this was my worst stay at any hotel in Miami. The night I checked in, I had to call the front desk for wash towels because none was provided. The second night around 10 pm, I had to call for more towels because housekeeping had to remove the ones received the night before. After waiting about 15 minutes, the front desk called to say they were out of hand towels but a truck would arrive in a few hours with more. I found this unacceptable that after a long day of activities in Miami, I was unable to take a proper shower because the hotel ran out of towels. After paying $400 a night for a room I at least expected to take a proper shower. My room (1107) also had bad plumbing and caulking issue in the shower. Every time we took a shower a lot of water got on the floor. We ended up having to use all the drying towels to soak up the water so I wouldn't break my neck. Water was everywhere including around the toilet. Like I said, worst experience ever, especially for such an expensive room. Highly recommended the East Miami, which I normally reserve but this was a last minute trip.

+1
I recently stayed here for three nights at the start of a vacation to Key West.
Located downtown Brickell, just across street from Biscayne Bay and only maybe two miles over to South Beach. Location was great. Centrally located to downtown. Lots of places to eat nearby within walking distance.
The hotel was very modern, sleek and well polished. With nice rooftop pool overlooking the downtown skyline and Biscayne Bay. Even though I booked third party, a room with city view, the check-in guy upgraded us to a top floor Bay view room at no additional cost.
Our single King bed room was a bit on the small side, but very nice and modern, exceptionally clean with beautiful walk in shower and no wear and tear. Had a nice little balcony to go outside. Outside downtown noise from the street was minimal on the upper floor. The mattress could have been a little softer, but I still slept well.
$40 per night to park (valet only) is a bit steep, but then again, you are staying downtown Miami and you won't find it anywhere else nearby for any less. That's just a charge you're going to pay if you have a car and stay in a downtown hotel in a major city. Competitive with all the other garages in the proximity.
Watch out timid drivers, traffic in Brickell is insane!
I'd definitely stay again if I were looking for a solid four star hotel downtown Miami! Very pleasant stay.

The hotel is basically in the marriott courtyard category but they advertise as a 4 star and that is where the big issue is. Yes, the location is very good but the premises and service is what makes the star ranking, not the site where the hotel is located
Service here is very limited if expecting 4 star category services. Although the staff was lovely and very helpful, they can’t make wonders either
Rooms were comfortable but basic and not the feeling of a 4 stars room . I could go on an on, so I tried to summarize with the heading of this review
All in all, if I were in a business travel, when you just need a comfortable room and a good location and you don’t stay too much time inside the hotel, I would stay here provided that the rate is competitive compared to neighboring hotels - there are plenty in the area
If I were in a vacation travel With family i doubt I would stay here, as the grounds and leisure areas are too basic, and if I were on a budget in that kind of travel there are better budget-conscious options in the area
Finally, I think they should advertise with the right star category. It is hard to change the first disappointment when you check in and immediately realize you have been misled

The hotel and amenities at the hotel were perfect for us! The pool and gym were our favorites. The location was ideal for staying somewhere without South Beach prices but close enough that we could get to whatever we wanted. James was absolutely AMAZING. Super helpful and cheerful throughout the entire stay. Can't wait to visit again!

We are so very appreciative of the staff at this hotel. We were booked to stay at a Marriot location, and were told upon our arrival at 9 pm that that hotel was sold out, despite having made our reservation 8 months in advance. We were bumped to this Hyatt hotel instead. We arrived, rather frustrated and upset at how we were treated at the previous hotel, and the front desk hotel was so kind and sympathetic to our issue. They even offered us free drink vouchers, which was more than the previous hotel did, and the issue wasn't even their fault! The night was then saved by an incredible meal at Caña Restaurant and Lounge. Our waitress, Hajar, could not have been more kind. Even though the restaurant was just about to close because of our late and unexpected arrival, she made sure we were able to order and that we could order all the drinks we wanted before shutting down. She offered great recommendations and we each ended up with a dish we absolutely loved. She truly turned an awful travel experience into a great one, and we couldn't be more appreciative of her kindness. It is a rare and special thing to encounter someone who cares so much about their job and for the customers they interact with, and she made us feel very special and cared for. Thank you, Hajar!
