The experience could not have been more pleasant. It’s a little difficult to find, but then a hidden gem. Get a room facing the water, they are large, very clean and comfortable. The communication from the staff was the best I have EVER experienced. Simply above and beyond. The private beach is groomed and very clean. Breakfast was cook to order! Simply a great visit, can’t wait to go back.
Nice hot tub, comfortable bed, great views, friendly helpful staff, wonderful restaraunt! Free Breakfast from a real restaurant! Try the Sausage gravy and biscuit! Private beach! Our efficiency had everything!
Staff goes above and beyond to meet your expectations. They checked in daily to see what we could use, and made sure it was brought in. All the staff was friendly and courteous as well. . The views of the grounds were picture perfect and property was well kept. My hubby had a blast fishing there, and caught several fish. Our room was remodeled and had everything we needed. The breakfast was top notch. Cooks there were a hoot. A Would stay there again in a heartbeat, and plan on it! It was a perfect relaxing stay!
Very Place … Clean room ( small ant issue) … I wouldn’t recommend staying in rooms 1,2 or 3 their next to the kitchen you can hear all the noise .. We we’re in room 3 … The Hideaway Restaurant was nice food was excellent the Staff was Very Nice as well . it was just freezing in there AC was on way too High .. and you really can’t see the water unless your sitting at a High Top Table .. The Pool area is in need of TLC .. The area is very dirty and dinghy looking , it’s to bad because the area is beautiful around it ..hopefully they address it … I would still go there again because it is nice ..
It's hard to say which was better, the place or the staff. Everyone was so helpful, giving us advice on things to do and places to eat before they even saw us! The room (suite) was spotless, with so much space and comfy sofa bed too, and a gorgeous wrap around porch. The breakfast was outstanding, the chef being so nice and approachable too. The entire setting was a gem!!!
We had the cutest little room that was perfect for us. Very clean and cozy vibes. We sat at the beach area and played cornhole with a few drinks. The breakfast was very good. It's an older hotel, but newly decorated. I bought a little painting of what it looked like in the 70s. So cool. Only 1 thing wrong, the pillows were very flat. But I should have remembered mine. Lol. Definitely would stay again.
Stayed for 4 nights at Rainbow Bend and it did live up to the good reviews that we'd previously read. It's an older motel that has obviously been remodelled, so the rooms are up to date and clean and had good facilities (including a big fridge/freezer and an additional drinks fridge!). The view from our balcony of the beach was beautiful and the whole complex was quiet. Breakfast was included and was eaten in the onsite Hideaway Cafe but it's obviously not managed by the same staff or chefs who produce the French food later in the day. It was fine but the pancakes were mostly burnt and on one morning they'd run out of sausage and bacon within 30 minutes of opening! Stay here for a family friendly, clean, quiet stay but not for the breakfast 🤣
This is truly a hidden gem. So much so we laughed about giving away this little secret!! Eva and Elena were awesome and so helpful with everything. And the view. My God it is so tropical!! The grounds were tended every morning so you had fresh sand to walk on. And no it’s not the fluffy soft sand you’d find on the west coast of Florida but it is in the Keys ( not really known for beaches). The water was beautiful and sea life abounds!! You can rent a kayak or paddle board right there which is so nice. Then there was the room. Holy cow. Absolutely beautiful- little living room, separate bedroom with walk in shower and full kitchen. And you get your own little patio with a table and chairs to drink coffee and enjoy the sun rise. Breakfast is included and it was lively to sit up on the balcony watching the water. Oh and can’t forget about the pool and hot tub!!!…
Gorgeous property! Staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. On site restaurant is terrific. Eva was awesome. We can't say enough how wonderful our stay was and we will be staying again on our next trip.
In order to avoid the crowds over Labor Day (during a 2 week romp around the keys) we stayed at Rainbow Bend. There’s a pool and a beach and oddly a gourmet French restaurant on property. It’s just off the highway and about 12 miles outside marathon. Full kitchen good wi fi - bo frills excellent service. Edie was so nice - checked in on us and left us alone as well. The most comfortable beach chairs we lounged in on our entire trip!!!
