Our room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable. View could not be beat! We weren’t there long, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the kayaks and other activities. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a separate area for families with children.

This resort was exactly what we were hoping it would be and so much more! Grassy Flats was the perfect place for us! We felt like family in this small, oceanfront resort. Getting to know Matt the owner and the other staff (Dylan, Chris, Ana, and more) was a joy! In fact, our young adult kids were taking pictures out on the beach and Matt brought them baby pineapples for props! That is the kind of place this is! The rooms are great, and the pool is beautiful. We enjoyed complimentary paddle boards and kayaks and caught fish right from the shore every day. This resort is slow paced with a tiki bar serving delicious drinks made with fresh herbs grown on the property. The tiki bar also has the best music! Island tunes all day! If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, slow paced resort with great rooms, amazing views, plenty of amenities, and excellent customer service, this is the place for you. We can’t wait to come back and see our friends at Grassy Flats!…

This resort is beautiful! And the view from the balcony is stunning! We had a nice, relaxing, enjoyable time. Our room was very beachy and comfortable. One minor complaint… it would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room or coffee available in the lobby.

Grassy Flats is the best spot in all of the keys! Beautiful resort with the friendliest staff. Best place to learn how to kite, foil, wakeskate from their super knowledgeable instructors. Luke and Josh are super talented and even better instructors. They made the process safe, comfortable and incredibly fun. Be sure to tip the staff and check out Bongos for the best lunch and brunch in Marathon!

We loved being guests at this beautiful resort and will return next year! Wonderful, friendly staff who will make you smile even when it's raining. The restaurant they will be opening looks amazing, and if it's as first class as the rest, a sure winner!

We stayed for a long weekend. Each morning brought unbelievably gorgeous sunrises, each night an unforgetable sunset. Our balcony was the perfect spot to sit quietly with an adult beverage and enjoy the view with my honey. The room itself was new. It looked and felt like we were the first to stay there. I believe that was because they've done a great job picking out wel-made, furnishings and bedding that is very well cared for. The shampoo, conditioner, soaps and lotion smelled awesome and left my hair feeling so soft! We enjoyed the pool. The tiki bar had excellent craft cocktails. Kayaking with the complementary-to-use equipment was a great way to spend the afternoon. All in all it was a fantastic way to celebrate 35 years together!

We travel a lot but Grassy Flats Resort is hands down the best place we have ever stayed at. We were super impressed with how amazing the staff was, they were all so friendly and accommodating, always available to help if we needed something! The beach area and landscaping is beautiful, the staff really does an amazing job maintaining it and we really enjoyed relaxing in all the different lounge areas and pool! We appreciated the quiet, private atmosphere as well as the adults only area. Everything was just so peaceful no matter where you went. Aside from relaxing they also have plenty of options for recreational activities, we loved kayaking and paddle boarding. The outside was so amazing that we didn’t spend much time in our room, but it was very clean and beautifully decorated. The balcony overlooking the ocean was incredible! We also loved the cats 😄 This place is truly paradise and we cannot wait to go back every year!!…

Fantastic facility for paddle boarding and kayaking. Great accommodations and very friendly and helpful staff. Also awesome party Friday evening “full moon” party with live music, food, bar, fire dancer, and show. Great for families too.
