My husband, myself, and our two young kids stayed here for 5 days and had an absolute BLAST! Clean, well maintained resort with beautiful views of the marina and overall great location in Marathon. The staff was so polite and helpful, especially halfway through our stay when the AC went out and they promptly moved us to an open room next door. Pool bar is great with amazing pizza and wings, plus fantastic music every night! Continental breakfast included with stay as well as complimentary champagne upon arrival, honestly who could ask for more! We cannot wait to come back again!
Stay here 4 nights and it was pleasant. Rooms where big and clean. Shower seemed to struggle to keep water pressure and temperature. Rented the bikes and beach chairs which was handy. Close to the beach and restaurants in town. Quiet at night. Drinks and food where a bit overpriced with tip included. Overall enjoyed our stay in Marathon.
We discovered this resort in 2020 just before Covid shut the world down. Marathon is right in the middle of the Keys so a perfect spot to stay and explore. 50 miles from Key West and 50 miles from Key Largo…. Lots to see in between! We love it here! This is our third time down!
Stayed last week for 10 days. Awesome. Vacay......food delicious. Awesome bar staff . Spiro went out of his way to provide what we wanted. Dez great karaoke and fishing partner. Kudos to Jason keeping our room warm when cold front appeared. My only regret was not being able to say goodbye to such wonderful people!
Amazing find! Great amenities, volleyball, tennis, gym and pool all on site. Comfortable bed, black out blinds, no noise. Deluxe suite overlooking Dock is exceptional. Great value compared to other places in the keys. Breakfast is included and AMAZING! Try the scrambled egg. Great choice of food for lunch/dinner too.
One br suite was decent.Bed & pullout couch were comfy. The continental breakfast is the best. Food at the restaurant was good. Entire property is rough around the edges. Sombrero Beach is close and very nice. Everywhere you can stay in the area is expensive and this was no exception. Overpriced, but par for the location. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
Pros: the location near the beach and good restaurants in Marathon, the bar food and drinks, games near the pool, and live nightly entertainment. Front desk staff was very friendly. Cons: The value for this place is not good. The balconies overlook the parking lot. The elevator was not working during our stay. The building itself is pretty old and run down. The breakfast is pretty lame, you get one item to choose from (eggs, bagel) with some fruit and coffee. The worst of it was our room had a dirty floor and had bed bugs. We kept waking up itchy with red dots thinking it was mosquitos until we looked up pictures. If you can afford a nicer place, I recommend that.
It was clean and easy to get to, with a boat ramp on site and nice amenities. The rooms were excellent. We even saw a Manantee in the lagoon swimming alongside some very gracious docked sailboats. All in all a very friendly place for early November 2022.
This is a super family-friendly cool little resort in a convenient location. The Marina is right there, and a nice beach is a few minutes away. We loved the easygoing vibe and enjoyed the high quality Greek food. The resort provides various amenities that will keep the whole family entertained (pool, ping pong, games, gym, bikes and music to name some).
My family spent the 2022 holiday season here at Skipjacks Resort & Marina. Great service and fantastic overall experience. The resort has lots of activities and amenities. Special shout out to Spiro & his better half, Carmen, Paul. All of which went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had a great time. Thank you!
