Visited here with our family, 14 in all. Location is good if you don't want to be in all the hustle and bustle. The rooms are quite large and well equipped. Each room has it's own balcony. The pool is awesome. Towels are provided at...More
This hotel was very conveniently located for us. It's just a short car ride to anywhere in Key West yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The rooms were very large and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the WIFI worked well...More
My family of 14 stayed at this resort. We had a fabulous time! Rooms are very spacious. I recommend a 2nd story room, my parents were in a 1st floor room, and it was a little musky from the humidity. The hotel staff was very...More

Yes, it is not anywhere near Duval street, however, it's location to us was perfect.

Misleading, look elsewhere for accommodation. We booked this thinking as a “resort” it would have hotel like amenities. Nope. I guess out here cream means milk, gas means petrol and resort actually means motel. This place is a motel. Don’t get twisted or mislead. This...More

We got the trolley tickets the first time in key west. Was able to buy them right in the Lobby of the Best Western Key Ambassador. They were $30 something a piece. Best part there is a trolley stop right at the hotel next to the lobby. Enjoyed the tour around town. Worth it to take the whole loop once. Then you can get on and off where ever there is a trolley stop. If you don't have trouble walking it is a great way to get around. I am handicapped but managed just fine. Know where you want to go and get a trolley map to find out where the closet stops are to what you want to see. They offered two day passes as well. Driving around downtown is not too difficult but parking is. Most spaces are metered. There were some parking garages so I have done it both driving and by trolley.
