Adorable. Cute, clean, old school Florida cottages. Multiple nice restaurants in walking distance. Dog friendly. Saw 4 German Shepherds here on our stay! My husband fished from the shore at sunset. We ate next door at Bayside Restaurant and food was delicious. We would stay here again.
Decided last minute to visit Key Largo and since we have a Labrador retriever we looked for a dog friendly place. Sunset Cove had one cottage left so we booked for 2 nights. It was a wonderful time, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Sunsets on the beach were beautiful and our dog was allowed everywhere on the resort on leash. We ended up staying an extra night we loved it so much. Really has that old Florida beach vibe!
This place was amazing! it sits right on the middle of all the action in and around the Florida keys. We did lots of Bridge fishing, and ran up to homestead and Miami. The resort has it all, from a beach area, fishing/lounging dock. You can watch the most beautiful sunsets from this dock & beach area. The rooms are perfect and homey. There is a very nice bar&grill restaurant next door within walking distance. Very convenient, wink wink. We already looking through our schedules to set up next year's vaca. Very recommended.
Call property directly for best price when booking. Stay in the Seaside RV or one of the other 2 cottages facing the water. The views are SPECTACULAR!!! The property is small, private, and quaint. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it. Private clean beach and dock, paddleboards and kayaks included on property. Everyone I encountered and spoke to were very friendly. Management was very accommodating and made sure I was taken care of. Not a party place and I loved it! Walking distance for a few restaurants/bars, Starbucks, suvenier shop, and Walgreens. If looking to do island activities, an Uber/Lyft or car is needed to get around.
On a recent trip to the Florida Keys I made a reservation for a chain hotel but this hotel was not on the bay side of the Keys. After doing some more research I decided we want to stay on bay side, most of the accommodations on bay side were "privately" owned and had a fantastic view of the bay and sunset. The Sunset Cove offered a camper trailer by the bay and was a great place to stay. The accommodations were clean and when we had a problem it was taken care of immediately. The owners take great pride in the resort and the grounds which were very well kept. Next door was a bar and grill that provided live music every night, not loud obnoxious music but soft relaxing guitar music which we could sit and listen to every evening as we watched the sun set, which are simply gorgeous in the Keys. My wife did not want to leave the place to go anywhere else, everything you need is right there, the bay to swim, fishing, kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs, tiki huts, hammocks. Good restaurants were nearby. We would definitely stay here again.…
