We wish to share the peace, tranquility and sense of place that this bohemian location has brought to our family and community. We reserved the carriage house at Sara’s Seaside. Reservations are made for seven days from Saturday to Saturday unless there’s a short notice availability. The historic property is quaint with several accommodations for larger families or couples. The place is nicely landscaped & every room has a private outdoor area. Our room was nicely appointed, clean & spacious. We had nice sunlight coming in from the windows & sliding glass doors but unfortunately lacked privacy with people walking by. The room had a king bed, sofa, ground coffee maker, ice maker, table for two & a full kitchen with all the cooking & serving pieces. Unfortunately the TV orientation only allowed proper viewing while sitting at the table. The free WiFi worked well. The bathroom was on the small side with a pedestal sink but the shower was spacious. Only bar soap is provided. There is no housekeeping during the stay, however they provide extra towels but only two beach towels. So we did laundry one day. The laundry closet was next to our building with only one washer & dryer. Difficult to get time using them as families understandably were using them quite often. Definitely bring detergent. The pool is in the middle of the property. Small saltwater pool with plenty of seating but we never enjoyed it because it was always too crowded. Our room faced the pool but with the fencing & foliage you couldn’t see in it. We were so grateful for the air conditioner in our room drowning out the noise. We spent our days on the beach. Beautiful stretch of sand with a short walk from the property. Set up yourself cabanas, beach chairs, toys & kayaks are provided. The beachside wooden lounge chairs have cushions to bring down but the chairs can not be moved. The location of the property is great. A short walk or bike ride to several restaurants, shops & nature preserves. A pizza place, brewery, CVS & beach shops are right across the street.

What a great vacation location. Steps from the beach, where padded lounge chairs and cabana are supplied. Kayaks/bikes and beach toys are also available for use. The grounds at Sarah's are beautiful, well kept and the foliage makes you feel like you are in the tropics, so many different palm tress, banana trees (that have bananas growing). Many different flowering plants. Pool that is shared within this small complex is very welcoming and relaxing. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable, well decorated and all the supplies for cooking your own meals if you want. Pam and I stayed in the Carriage House while my 2 sons and family with 3 children stayed in the Governors Main where the porch is shaded with great view of the beautiful sunsets. Great place for family vacation or reunion. Owners and staff and very nice, welcoming and available for any special needs. They will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the vacation that will be in our memories for years to come.

We spent three wonderful nights here at Sarah’s seaside cottage in the governors main unit. Everything was so easy from check in, to every conceivable lazy thing we did from watching the kids swim in the pool from our patio or heading to the beach. We are local so we were able to bring some of our own chairs and umbrellas but they have cabanas for those who need them. The staff was really wonderful and accessible despite the fact that you never saw them but when you needed something they suddenly appeared. The little town was just opening up as we were leaving so hoping that they are on the right track soon to normalcy.

This was our fourth stay with Gulfside Resorts and was just as enjoyable as the lprevious three times. We have stayed in a different unit each time and they have all been well equipped, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is superb. It really felt as if we had our own private beach and yet we were within walking distance of a variety of restaurants. We certainly hope to return. The owners have definitely worked out what makes a perfect beach vacation and how to provide it.

We had our week long family reunion at the Indian Rocks inn and it was the perfect place for our group. We rented all 6 units and each one was great. Some of the best features: of course, being ocean front and having the cabana umbrellas and beach chairs to use on the beach. We loved having a pool for those hot afternoons or early evening swims. The bikes got plenty of use by the group. The patios that are part of the Gulfside pavilion and the Trailside pavilion were the perfect spot for gathering each evening for happy hour and dinner. Having access to a washer/dryer came in very handy. The Gulfside team was very responsive and helpful as we planned the event. We will definitely be back.

Located ideally on the beach at Indian Rocks. And, the beach is amazing! The property is well maintained. The team that manages the resort are outstanding - they are helpful, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Lots of extras - beach loungers, cabanas, kayak, swimming pool, towels, etc. Restaurants within walking distance of the resort so easy to get to or you can make meals in the well equipped kitchen in the resort units, we had a great time and the weather cooperated which made our holiday a hit.

If you like waking up at 6:50am during your vacation week then this is the place for you. Please call and ask about the construction site within 20 feet of your unit. I went for R&R and came back home more exhausted then when I arrived. If you enjoy shelling every morning at dawn or breakfast at 7am and never plan to sleep in past 6:50am you will enjoy this property. If you have babies that need naps or anyone in your group that is noise sensitive you should not stay here until construction is complete. Please call them and ask about that. Construction starts at 6:50 am about 20 feet from your window with heavy equipment backing up "beeping" til early afternoon. I did contact IRI about this and they sent canned response/email and really seemed not to care. Book with caution!

Our favorite place to get away, they treat us great here and the rooms are always in stellar condition, can’t wait to get back there. Calm, peaceful and relaxing. The ‘team’ are wonderful to work with and so very responsive to their guests needs. We love it so much we’ve already booked again for next year. Nothing more lovely than watching the sunset over the ocean!

This is our fourth year at Sarah's and we will keep coming back. We stayed in the Tropical Loft cottage, which is small and close to the road, but well appointed with a cozy sleeping loft and small outdoor sitting space. The grounds and pool at Sarah's are lovely, and the beach is right there-- wonderful sunsets. Across the street, Slyce Pizza and a coffee shop are a minute's walk. Sarah's provides beach bikes and locks for a good day's outing. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine in the fridge.

Hi there,
There is no daily housekeeping but if you stay for 2 weeks your beds are changed and the unit is cleaned for the following week,
If you need additional bedding at any time the staff at the office will always provide them for you
There is no place at Gulfside at the resort to clean your fish if you catch any. I did see a few people fishing and they have a 5gallon bucket to clean them in and then just left the remains on the beach and took their fish up to their condo. The Seagulls appreciated the meal left behind, hope this helps a little.
There are more places to choose from in the Indian Rocks Beach area.
