It’s hard to compete with Anna Maria Island sunsets and sunrises, but our one-of-a-kind beachside mod escapes come pretty close. Nostalgic, eclectic, and built to recharge. Our one, two or three-bedroom vacation rental units include a colorful kitchenette, terrace access, and private patio for serious mello-ing out.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The place is amazing!! Spent a weekend with some friends to celebrate my birthday. The location and ambience of the place was amazing!! The amenities provided made it such a great stay!! I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We stayed in the Sol Mate unit. It is well equipped with everything you need. It’ just right for a couple. Maybe a little crowded for 4, but doable. Both sofas are sleeper sofas. Don’t know about comfort, but very nice option. The styling is modern. Cute decorative touches throughout. King size bed is comfortable. Bathroom: hot/cold is reversed in shower, so be careful. Shower is not enclosed completely, so if your not careful, you will have water going outside the shower. I suggest they move the hand held shower head to the other side so it sprays toward the wall? Some construction is still happening on sight in some units, but only during the day when you would be enjoying the beach anyway. The pool area is very nice. I’m not sure of how quiet the rooms would be when full ( we were the only ones there for 2 days). It is a small complex and we could hear workers conversations clearly from within the unit. Overall, we were very happy with this unit and the location is great. Very convenient to stores and restaurants and the beach. It is a little pricey IMO, but is new and the proximity to everything was worth it to us. I’m sure we will return! Thank you Matthew for the cute greeting when you first walk in.

Had the most wonderful time spent with old and new friends! Everything was great and you have everything at your fingertips! Well thought if place and very peaceful. Hoping to stay there again in a couple years! Only thing I would change is the spray shower location. When you turn it on it sprays way passed the glass so only used the overhead shower piece. Time well spent with our friends!!

Fabulous experience @ Mello On The Beach 2 weeks ago (July 24-28)!! Everything was new, clean, fresh. Everyone so welcoming & accommodating from Alexandria in reservations to Matthew the manager! Our dog loved it too❤️ Loved all the personal touches from hand written welcome note, fresh sealed cookies & boxed waters from local merchants & so many more even for our pet. Beach bag, chairs, cooler, & umbrella’s for our use right in the the room too! They seriously thought of everything!!!

The beach is only steps away from your door. The sunset is the best. You will be right in the middle of the island, and the free trolley stop is very close by. The decor is all updated and new, pool is excellent along with cornhole setup. We had a great time.

We loved our stay at Mello! It’s just the cutest place! Everything was clean and new and there were many nice welcoming touches. The location can’t be beat. Steps to the beach and AMI beach cafe and very close to free trolley stop. 5 min to Publix for groceries. The pool area is spacious and adorable. Lots of lounge chairs and some floaties to use. Had a concierge we could call or text to answer questions about the condo and the area. Such a pleasant stay. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at Mello! The employees were so kind and helpful - especially John and Giselle! - the property was beautiful, the pool area was lovely and it couldn’t be easier to walk to the beach! They thought of every detail in the rooms, and our one bedroom with pullout couch was the perfect size for three sisters to share. We will definitely be back!

What a dreamy place! I traveled to Mello on the Beach the weekend of August 4,2023. The check in process was easy and Matthew the property manager was so attentive and helpful! The resort is like a modern mixture of a Barbie play set. Everything is so well planned out. The beach chairs,umbrella and cooler in your room were such a sweet touch. You can walk right out the door to the beach or spend a day relaxing in the pool. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. They also have the cutest lawn with games you can play on site. I really enjoyed my time at Mello and will definitely be back!

We stayed in the gone costal room and had the most incredible stay! Room was so cute and clean. It was very accessible to the beach! Pool was always well taken care of. We had the best trip as a family! Room provided a small cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, everything we needed!
